ABANDONED Meteor sat for over 23 YEARS moving (and Stopping) under its own power!

Hey Y'all!
Thanks again for tuning in! In this video we take the 1963 Mercury Meteor and get it moving and stopping without any help! As usual, alot of brake work in a car thats been sitting any length of time. Its not the most fun to do, or watch, However it is SUPER rewarding getting a car "yard driving" after sitting in the trees for so long.
I cannot wait to get more work done on this car and start enjoying it!

Brakes are my least favorite. But they need to be done!
And yeah I am blessed that she will come out and not only help work, but film.

Nice looking car .
Make sure you fully weld the new floors don't just bodge them in with a few tack welds .I get all my bits from rock auto they have a supperp shipping system to the UK

Drum brakes suuuuuuuuuck! I remember one time I was working on some, and another guy was working on the other side.... I heard the dreaded ping of a spring... Ended up flying to the other side of the shop. Those things are dangerous and can gain some frightening velocity.

Put pigmat liners in bottom of each toolbox drawer and spray all the tools down in WD40 its resists water damage.... Then buy a cheapie 20 dollah tarp and drape over all the boxs when your done using them
