15 heroic dungeons per day? that's like a good 10-15hr's of play right there, as each one can take a hour or more. At least till people start to finish their t4 raid sets.
In retail tbc me and my bois would clear like 5 heroics in under 2 hours lol. Ofc as we got higher tier it was even easier

Is T4 lvl60 gear?
On the Badge thing:
Kara originally did NOT give you badges. That was only introduced in 2.3
So it is likely that during P1: Kara WONT give you badges.
I really hope it doesnt.. its gonna be gear overload.
@@rasmuskjaerpoulsen We already get all the buffed gear from BC, so at this stage who gives a crap. Going to be braindead easy to clear heroics, T4 and T5.
They already confirmed that kara will not give badges in phase 1

Badges of justice won't drop in raids till a later phase. This is in line with how it originally was rolled out in patch 2.3
I thought the badge dailies were added later in the game too.
TBC is about fun, not meta stacking. Viable > Optimal. Goodbye worldbuffs, goodbye boredom, goodbye meta kids go back to classic. Hello 100 ways to gear my dude the way I want.

Classic was not made for the meta either, but people will always optimize the fun out of games. If you dont like it make or join a guild not interested in the meta, pve servers are a good place to look for those

I'd say the one from shadow labs is by far the best for PVE all the way through the whole expansion.

There's no Badges of Justice in Raids. Not at P1. Not at P2. Maybe P3. Maybe P4. It was added in the 2.3.
I think, I'll just call covid center and tell them I got cough and flu so I'll have the time to farm all of that during lockdown.

I just don't get all this emphasis on 'needing' to check your bis list. You really don't need to worry about that crap at all, and there are multiple options at 70 for other good pieces (including trinkets) if you happen to not pick the right quest reward for pre raid bis.
By all means, do what you want, but it isn't that big a deal in BC what so ever for any spec; not like it was in vanilla anyway.
I agree, there are far more ways to be viable as a raider in TBC, rather than focusing on "optimal" which was classics obsession. It's why the game is simply more fun.
@Zealadinn Checking is one thing, enforcing it upon others is another entirely, especially when there are options that are close to as good.
I started in a guild that was formed after TBC. Most of us did not come with ANY gear from vanilla and we got to be the 2nd best in the server in 6 months.
You don't and won't need anything from vanilla to succeed in TBC. Will it make faster, easier? I dunno, didn't make a difference to me.

Good news, arena rating is only required for weapons 1850 and shoulders 2000
Last I saw they added arena rating to all the gear, for all seasons. Did they change this back?
Yeah they just changed it back. You also get more points from rating 200-1500 to compensate

@Neal DoubleAA I don't see how. PvP should be skill based anyway. People getting a few pieces to at least not get crushed by gear in a competitive setting doesn't seem all that crazy to me.
The elite will still be better, get crap faster, and still have the advantage...

Have found TF to be incredibly underwhelming on beta. I think you're referencing TF in original TBC before it was nerfed.
Proc is equal to 1 application of sunder at lvl 70iirc, and thunderclap is usable in prot stance 🤷🏼♂️
@@Gilfy91 Fairly certain the proc threat is roughly the same as a level 60 sunder application. It's not a bad sword, but I'd take a higher dps weapon over it from my beta experience.
@@zanthir1393 yeah they nerfed it about midway through tbc because the very few ppl who had it were always using it and they wanted to force a swap. And prior to the debuff the proc threat was equivalent to 1 and a half lvl 60 sunder.

karazhan clear in an hour or 2? a good group will need 2h, a mediocore group 3h, a wiping group 4-6 hours

Yea... 1 week if you are playing 20 hours a day.
That is the minority... and frankly, he is assuming you have some crazy good RNG and/or elite group set up to assist you with such endeavors. Most people will not.
But hey... sadly most people raiding in classic are extreme no lifers. Casual raiding guilds are extremely rare now.
IDK for me the fun starts when I am in BiS. The game opens up then.

Myself I can only play 2-3-4 hours per day. Maybe with some days off so it's gonna be more than a month for me...

How to get FULL gear in ONE WEEK: Play Hunter so you can have other classes items too.
my SV, only use 2 pces of leather (neither are bis for leather classes) for my BiS and melee weapons that no melee use. Might wanna speak to warriors and enh shamans on this topic.
Imposible to do heroics with this tank shortage and discrimination against non minmax meta classes. About to quit here because of it.

Depends on the level of pre nerf.. raids were nerfed alot and when 2.4.3 actually hit it was a huge nerf that basically opened the door for any guild to start stepping into swp which led us to the downfall that is wotlk
