But with the announcement of Firefly, I'm seriously considering getting this Camo version to pair with him. Looks like your figure had some QC issues, I hope that's not indicitive of the figure in general. ;) Thanks for the awrsome content! Keep up the good work.
OG FAN!!!!!!!!! Yeah man Firefly looks real good and never thought about matching him up with this Camo Storm Shadow, good idea. Yeah I had a few issues with the head and one wrist peg but not to hate the figure. Some adjustments and they are fine. Threezero is doing good with their G.I.. Joe line so far, minus Roadblock lol.
I was so happy to learn they were doing Firefly. Firefly was always my favorite Cobra villain, I think it was the cool balaclava. I hope Threezero also makes Beachhead, another favorite of mine. I have the Sideshow versions of Beachhead and Firefly and they were (is) amazing figures.
How in the world did I miss this video? Such a great video, PRock! Loved it! I actually just snagged the original Storm Shadow thanks to a sale going on at Hasbro. Got him for $86! I already have the Threezero Snake Eyes and always wanted Storm Shadow but never got around to getting him. Sure glad I waited because I got him at a steal. I really dig the camo SS and I'm considering picking him up. I see Threezero appear to be going full steam with the line. Fingers crossed they keep it going because I have several of the OG Sideshow 1/6 Joes and they still hold up. Very well made figures.
Well I am happy you found the video. Yeah Threezero is killing it with the new G.I. Joe line, even though Roadblocks face looks a little weird at this point. Damn you did get him for a steal, I had to pay the $140 price at release. I like the camo a lot too and it has a little more articulation. Thanks for the view and awesome comment..

I did my video review of it on my channel called Renegadebiker24. I like it, but I had some concerns about the forearm. I had some lighting issues with my review, and at the end of the video, I showed it.

You are the 1st person to review this newest version of Storm Shadow. Congrats. I own both versions and I love the camo version more. But I think most people will save the extra 45 dollars and get the sleeveless version over the camo version.

I only paid $25 more than the standard version. I got the camo version from surethingtoys for $170, and the standard was $145. $25 more was definitely worth it for the claws and additional clothing added to the figure. The price has changed by $5 now for arctic storm shadow, $175.

Great review. So annoyed that the arms can’t even pose the way they are advertised. You can’t get him into the arrow pose at all. I’ve been sitting here for half an hour trying before deciding to see if anyone on UA-cam had the same issues. Huge miss by ThreeZero on this one but otherwise, it’s solid.

Received my copy of the figure today. And... I kinda hoped that the arms would have been jointed, instead of seamless. I was thinking that they would be jointed because, the arms fully being covered. However...you can feel the seamless arms under the camo sleeves! I have both versions of the figure. And I like them both! With that being said... I think I like the camo version just a tiny bit more than the classic version! I believe that I just said that.

I know and agree, makes no sense. They did this with their Walking Dead Figures too. Makes no sense to do so when the arms are covered. Should have been jointed arms under the sleeves.
