The shrink resistance peg is for the hand . When you don't keep the other hands on the figure the pegs in the hands tend to shrink over time because of the material they are made of. So when the pegs are not in use put on the shrink resistance peg .

Great figure, i actually bough the original version but didnt really mess with it much. Didnt realize how loose the joints were on it. I bought the new version because it came with an extra head sculpt. I believe it was the head with the teeth showing like the one you had on the figure in this review. Great figure but its ridiculous the first version wasnt made with the same quality. The new version should have been the original release. These companies make a lot of money on these figures, why cant they at least make them with prudent quality control? New version is definitely an improvement. Reminds me a lot of the Jungle Lord custom figure that has its own video on youtube.

Because I’m having the same issue I see you have in this video where it’s freakishly hard to remove and attach new hairs and I’m worried about breaking it eventually
