I found out on mine, where the OEM controller would normally be located on the left dash panel, take that cover off and the wiring harness was there. Just needed the oem controller and panel.
I’ve been researching that because I was also going to just buy the OEM part. Apparently GM doesn’t allow that unless it was installed from factory. But if it works for you please let us know
@@williambedford8477 You’re correct. Unfortunately even if we bought all correct parts and connected them, gm does not allow the software to register it correctly unless it was done from the factory.
