I was a DJ in the late 80s early 90s, & used to play this song, but never really listened to the lyrics oddly, until a guy I was DJ-ing with at the time told me how sad it was.. Yeah it reminds me of my youth aswell 👍

As Jona has said on many occasions " It's not a Christmas song it's ananti war song!" People just thought it was because of one line "I Wish I could be home for Christmas!"

Who are the cavaliers in the Sixth Trumpet?
