honestly corporate greed absolutely destroyed the future of this game from layoffs to harassments from bad decisions to making 20 dollar skins it reeks of greed and it makes me so sad
This video is nice to see because i played overwatch for like 3yrs straight and then it just slowly died 😢 haven't played for ages. Its nice to see someone who hasn't played for long time to play and give there opinion because the overwatch community is a much different opinion 😅💀
i think coming back to it basically fresh without too much emotional investment helps. I think if i was still an overwatch creator i may feel differently haha but i am offering this perspective as a returning player who stopped playing for years
I remember playing the first free weekend they had for this and instantly got sucked in that I had to buy it. I still enjoy coming back to it from time to time, especially for some of the custom games.
I definitely love this game thru all its changes, but its a love hate relationship. Been playing since 2016 just before the first Olympic event with lucio ball. I took a long break to play rainbow six siege around 2018-2020 only jumping on to try to place rank for the points to unlock gold guns. The biggest downside to all the updates was the change to ow2 when characters started to be pushed into battle passes. I stopped right after that and only came back when they changed it back to the old ways where the characters and maps are free. Sucks the shop is expensive but with some countries banning loot boxes, they made a change but im hoping they will make more to make some the items more available and cheaper? :P anyways love the video and maybe ill come back around if i see more, im not much into battel royale stuff.
5v5 was the worst creative decision to ever happen to this game it simultaneously broke the whole game and divided the whole community. I mean just imagine if we didn't waste all those years' worth of development time trying to make 5v5 work and wasting time on a failed coop mode but instead poured all that sweat and work into making 6v6 the best it could be. fixed all the issues that were plaguing it and balanced the game properly for once because it would have finally had the A team on it instead of the B team who were just trying to keep things together for 2 years until their failed sequel launched. I stopped playing this game almost a year ago until I found the 6v6 workshop and it just opened my eyes just how bad a decision they made going 5v5
why don’t you like 5v5? genuine question. bc i played 6v6 way back when and it was horrible, I felt like it was a lot of shield breaking and playing around meat shields
@@kandyrewplus Kandy look I know you're feeling the freshness of 5v5 along with all the new hero's after being away for a while but trust me it's going to get stale really quick because you're going to see it's just the same game over and over with the same few strates and the lack of verity in play making. 5v5 is just a dumbed down version of what overwatch used to be and the tank role is suffering for it being a tank main myself. and that meat shield double shield problem goes away real quick when stuff is balanced properly like I said before get the A team back on 6v6 properly and watch it feel way better then you remember. How do I know this because I play the 6v6 workshop exclusively now
It’s funny how this you are like the opposite of the avarage overwatch player -thinks push is a pretty good gamemode -thinks that the transition to 5v5 was a good change -thinks that Hero trials aren’t a good thing -thinks overwatch 2 is “a blast”
Lol I love how the whole gaming community treats overwatch players like we're scum but most of the gaming community can't play our game for shit, as you proved very well
I just tried out Overwatch 2 for the first time never played O1 and man what a mess I played for 2 HOURS and had two people tell me to uninstall in UNRANKED just for trying out characters and trying to learn Worst most toxic community I’ve ever encountered not an exaggeration And I play CoD, Apex and Valorant… it’s worse lol
I haven't played OW since late 2017 and I can tell you it was like this ever since the game released in 2016. The only thing you can do, is to ignore them or turn off all comms, voice and chat. It willl NEVER change, you will always have fuckers like that, in that game. So if you really want to learn the game either turn everything off, or find a group of people you have fun playing with. This community is full of insecure idiots, who think they know everything better than everyone else.
It’s kinda sad to me that things are only popular because of the over the top annoying streamers that make little babies laugh. That’s why people like Kai cenat are popular, the more animated you are the more googoo gaga little babies with 0 iq and no sense of humor can enjoy for a reason I could never understand
@@kandyrewplus Glad to see you try and give the game a shot again btw. Especially recently, it feels like there are a lot of substantial changes being made to the game (for better or for worse), so there should be things to look forward to at the very least.
I’ll watch two has been pretty good in my opinion and I hate that the whole Internet mocks this game and most of the people who mock it and make fun of it. have never played it.
The base game was steady but as always, toxicity took a hold and even worse, the devs started taking advice from pro players and streamers. Who by the way, don’t know a single thing about balancing a game. Then they tried to sell a “sequel” game that was basically an excuse to monetize the crap out of the game. As well as lying to the fanbase about PvE and trying to move to 5v5. They also (and I know you’re probably sick of hearing this) started going down the DEI woke path. I quit as soon as lifeweaver released for a number of reasons, one of them being that it just doesn’t feel like OW anymore.

New video idea. Contact Stanley and teach her Apex lol
i do not think she’d be down

Well tbh I think has actually gone down a way worse path than overwatch at this point even though both are having issues.

Juno was just available for a playtest weekend, not really a temporary release.
gotcha!

Hi kandy XD
I'm so happy we got PvE
