The funny thing is, your technically right. It was hit in only a couple places, Mexico City and the border area I think. It basically descended into warlords before the Great War even happened, kind of like now.

Mexico was anexed by the US even before the war,probably arround the ressource war time,in new vegas you can talk to chief Hanlon and he says that the NCR's rangers are trying to settle down there but that they are having a very hard time doing so,Mexico itself and maybe some millitary places were surely hit but otherwise it might be in better shape than the US
But can you explain the Tlaloc-crazy-AI (the Mexican copy of MR. house) thing?
@@Kk-dy6bq When the US anexed Mexico for it's oil ressources,they gave them in exchange a top new AI who would watch over Mexico and help in all kinds of things,surveillance,energy and ressources distribution etc,but most important it had acces to Mexico's nukes and if war was to broke out Tlaloc would be the one charged to defend the country. As the Great War happened Tlaloc survived as Mexico was not a primary target,only main cities like Mexico city were nuked,leaving the country side pretty much intact. Many civilians were saved as Mexican soldiers focused on evacuating them to more secure places,helped by US soldiers posted in Mexico who deserted and chose to help the civilians. After that Tlaloc spent 200 years alone trying to figure how it could have saved Mexico from the nukes all while still protecting the survivors, at some point it even fights an actual army of raiders having mimiced the Aztec/Incas Empires and nuked them all,he was so lonely was he developed multiple personalities = The "sons" of Tlaloc,each of them having different oppinions and roles for Mexico.
in the end Tlaloc will die, his "sons" will take over by fighting each other and sending Mexico into chaos. Tlaloc is seen as a god by other nations in Mexico,as his mission is still to protect the country he will launch nukes on those who attack any of them, I had Caesar rushing Mexico in a game and he got blasted as soon as he tried to attack

Should you ever return, might I suggest the Sub-mod called "Enclave Reborn"? It is really good and very in-depth.
It has a really diverse Focus Tree for the newly existing faction "The Enclave", allowing for highly varied play styles, and I think it offers a decent challenge from beginning to end.

The Mexico City is nuked and Mr House's anti missile system was destroying the ICBMs which targeted America in the air the mexicans were able to see it even from Mexico City

He was also able to kill one of the 2 consuls who were presonally commanding the Roman army in the initial cavalry engagement, which eventually led to the cavalry being able to swing around and complete the encirclement
