    Out of the countless reviews I have watched for this, yours is without a shadow of doubt the best. It helps as you are industry based, rather than consumer, although this is a consumer product, it opens up a whole new world for any action cam. I did like your egg timer version (never need batteries ha ha). I've ordered one today as for the money it's a no brainer. The app appears to allow a great deal of control as well. Thank you for taking the time to create this video, the only thing I cannot fathom is why you only have 169 subscribers. Not that figures are important, but content is, and yours is good and deserves a much wider audience...........edit you now have 170 subs :)

      Wow! Thanks for your comment and so glad you enjoyed the video. I'm going for QUALITY SUBS and you are very much welcome aboard! :) Best kept secret on UA-cam. ha ha Thank you!! Andy.

      Andy Sutton After using this for a day it is a good unit for the money. But the motor noise is picked up by my Gopro 5. Switching to wind reduces it slightly. I wonder if you notice loud motor noise or if I have a defective unit?. Thanks

    • @AndySuttonSESR
      @AndySuttonSESR  4 роки тому

      @@ardscorner I can't say that I've heard motor noise. It might be worth re-calibrating the unit and see if that helps? I do tend to use a TASCAM DR10-L most of the time, so motor noise hasn't been my main focus. Let me know how you get on.

      Andy Sutton Evening. Thanks for the reply. If I switch to wind it virtually goes away. But the audio on the gopro 5 is bad any way so I think I will go with an external recorder. I cant use an ext mic without buying the gopro adapter and that stops it fitting in the gimbal. Life was easier with U-Matic.....albeit heavier lol

      Thanks Kenny! I'm just on a mini break and I brought mine along. With the C-19 lockdown I've not filmed with it in a while and it's as good as remember. A few quirks but for less than 100, it's a great bit of kit. Thanks for your comment! :)

    So here's my review of the Hohem iSteady Pro 2 and my question to you all out there is what cool bits of kit have you discovered that get great shots but have another use? Like my egg timer! :) 9:28

    Thanks for this video. I was looking for something to augment my Drone footage for recreational and minor advertising shoots and came across someone selling one of these gimbals which I jumped on at £45! Initially I'll experiment with a couple of Dragon Touch Gopro clones (I already use them on my motorbikes - cheap, cheerful and somewhat expaendable!) and if find it useful who knows I might look at a Gopro or an Osmo! New subscriber.....

    Honest ... Good. As always these gimbals work only as good as operators hand. If one know what he is doing, this gimbal is perfect. For noobs it will not convert them into pro's.

      Yes, experience is part of getting the most out of it and at £90 it's a useful and affordable tool for any filmmaker who wants to improve at capturing a moment on video no matter where they are on their journey. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

      @@AndySuttonSESR I've just received it and turned it on for the first time. It seems to vibrate a lot. Is this normal for a gimbal? ( I've never had one before)

    • @AndySuttonSESR
      @AndySuttonSESR  4 роки тому +1

      @@PaulStephenOutdoors If the camera isn't on it, it will shake violently, yes. With the camera on it, it should find balance.

    Thanks for sharing buddy. I just purchased mine to use with my osmo action. I noticed there is a slight tilt. Have you experienced this as well?

    • @AndySuttonSESR
      @AndySuttonSESR  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, you can adjust the trim in the app. Also, resetting it helps too - when you are out shooting. It does get confused now and again as I document in this video, but for £90 it's amazing.

    When I am out on my cycle and dont have my tripod, I will use my helmet as a make do tripod using my go pro helmet mount. Not as clever as your egg timer...

    • @AndySuttonSESR
      @AndySuttonSESR  4 роки тому

      That works! :) I'm currently trying to find a way of mounting a camera tripod head to something that will safely fit onto an inflatable Kayak. :)
