Vantaa - Finland. 6x Schindler Escalator ride - Tikkurila station - Helsinki Metro / Commuter Rail

We take a POV Ride on 6x Schindler escalators at the one of the Helsinki metro’s outer commuter rail stations in Tikkurila, Vantaa, Finland. (On the same line as Helsinki Airport). There is one set each for platforms 2-3, 4-5 and 6. Platform 1 is accessible from the side of the main building - there are more smaller escalators inside but a few were broken and they’ll be in a different video…

The glass bridge concourse is a nice design and links the platforms with a shopping mall and main bus station building on the Platform 1 side. In that shopping centre there are a few small Kone TravelMaster 110 escalators and some smaller Schindler escalators like these that lead to the exits and bus station - but a few were broken. There is another small shopping centre across the road which had one 1991 O&K Kone escalator type RTK-LBS (like the KBS but with extended balustrade ends)… coming soon!
