Like you said he was being insensitive to Nita and I'll just say this situation he caused the argument she and kenai had earlier over losing the amulet by implying getting it back was impossible kenai may have started the events of the first movie by being stubborn but it seems like a lot of the brother Bear characters have their own flaws and koda's is that he doesn't know when to stop talking and can be insensitive I feel bad he lost his mother and his big brother figure is all he has left but he has to learn not to be insensitive

Rewatching this from 17 years ago, I can relate to koda. This scene reminds me of my situation. Me and my friend were having fun and I got all of my hidden energy out and it felt satisfying. All of a sudden he told me to stop and told on me and he told me to stop 10 times and I got in trouble even though I didn’t get punished. He was a hypocrite since we were both on the same track
Yeah! Kenai was harsh with him, but Koda does have to learn the hard way that he needs to be careful cause he was too insensitive and has to stop when someone is struggling at the time. However, Kenai shouldn’t have ignored him afterwards during the song montage.
Especially since Kenai yelling at him is what indirectly caused him to run away to the mountain and almost got killed cause Kenai and Nita neglected him afterwards during the song montage.
