I was at the Melbourne show yesterday, they're literally like "yeah we had a new single drop 15 mins ago on Spotfiy, here's Magnetic!!" it was a killer song live.
A nice octanecore track to kick back and relax a bit, I dig it.
From a bad relationship in the past, the song The River was so raw, you could feel the pain and hatred. This song is different but relatable. I love all their aspects. Looking forward to the album.
The only reason anyone would complain is cuz we got High Horse as the first single last album. If Circle the Drain was the first single ppl would have complained but no. Idk why anyone is complaining they always make soft songs and we all know there will be heavier tracks just like always
I’m not complaining but I will say, I can see people not enjoying these clean songs because they tend to drown out the vocals in reverb and other effects and to me it can be hard to listen to. Good song though, but I can see some people with good ears and more hope not FULLY enjoying it. Although people who straight up insult the music or band because it’s not to their standard are ungrateful idiots and probably listening to the wrong band to begin with.
I really like Circle the Drain, but I don’t like this one. I guess it’s just a matter of pure subjectivity
Not everyone glazes this band is what your forgetting
@@metalhoable what point are you making besides repeating buzzwords
@@shannanosnower6170 personally I like this way more than circle the drain but yeah it is up to the listener
This song will be a grower for me, but I’m still always supportive of their creative choices and very excited for this next cycle
It's a really good some to listen to cranked up in the car with the windows down. I dig it 👍
im liking the overall sound but i hope the album has some heavy thrown in there
It's wage war, of course they will lol.
Heavy or light, wage war ROCKS!
LOVEEEEEE Wage War. Still one of the best shows I saw live last year. This song was siiiiick!!!!!
Love the new track, it has a great flow and the breakdown was unexpected. Catchy song and a good melody. Looking forward to hearing more from them soon (hopefully)!
I love when metalcore bands do softer songs (softer than their normal), so many of them really put out amazing rock songs and it gives good variety
I saw these guys last night, they are incredible on stage. This will be a great addition to their set list with their brilliant live vocals 👏 hope they drop a new album too
Great reaction Nath, hope you have a sick time at Knotfest! 🤘
This is a really catchy song. I can see why people think this should have been a 2nd or 3rd single, rather than a lead single. It fits more in the "generic" mold, similar to Circle the Drain.
Circle the Drain is way better than this garbage.
@@AB21 I am not suggesting this is better. Circle the Drain is one of Wage War's best songs in my opinion.
My biggest gripe with humans is that we HATE change. For no reason.
LET THEM COOK 👏🏼
No a lot of people like change, people “HATE”: bad, boring uninteresting, pandering
This was performed live @ Knotefest .. was SICK
These guys DO NOT MISS!
I'm in. Super excited for this next project they're working on!
You had me at Magnemite 😂
Thats so good. Love the electronic in the middle. Will you do Dogma? Wanna see you guys faces with the hot nuns. Father i have sinned is a good start
Love the change with this single kinda gave me memphis may fire vibes idk if that was just me but so hyped for this album also the riff is fire inbetween the verses
I herd this first time at knotfest at Melbourne n I loved 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
the boys are backkk
I was surprised for this as a first drop too. I love wage war they did phenomenal on this chorus it is my favorite part about the song. Hopefully you can tell them your thoughts when you get to talk with them!
Imminence the black when?
I saw them last night in Melbourne, was a great show.
Oh fun!!
I need your mind to keep an open mind cause I did not like this song but now you stating they’re probably grabbing as much attention but I hope the next song is heavy
I love this band I think they have such amazing voices. I don't understand why it's so trendy right now for rock/metal bands to insert weird pop effects and layers over their voice. To me it really takes away from the song. I like the song structure and the sound but overproduction ruined it for me. The last ADTR album and last bad omens album felt the same to me. All three of them are fantastic bands. I've seen all them live several times and they're incredible. It is sad to me seeing producers take away the grit and raw sounds that make rock and metal what it has always been. I honestly hope they do an unplugged version of this.
They're a top 3 band for me, but I'm not too sure about this one. If it fills the 'Never Said Goodbye' space on the upcoming album I'm really happy but it felt kinda uninspiring. I'll still play it on repeat though lol
This might be modern Nickelback.
Letterman- story so far just released.
1000x better than this too
Kinda did sound a little generic… there were parts I really liked but expected a bit heavier at times… but I liked it
Was more Mehgnetic for me.
Can't wait for their tour opening up for Taylor Swift
I’d pay good money for that
Still no imminence - the black?
i dont know that i like it tbh. it sounds like an I Prevail song but not as good. i like heavy Wage War for sure
I like the song itself, but honestly can’t stand the vocal processing on the cleans. I don’t know if it was a layering thing to lean into the “magnetic” piece, but it was just off to me.
I definitely feel it’s playing off the theme, but I can understand that. They have such awesome vocals you just wanna hear them get shown off
Problem is I have that the breakdown sounds very recycled and generic but I guess it serves the song. Much rather it not be there otherwise you got a decent hard rock song
If anybody is itching for the Wage War heaviness, we just released a new track called “Kill The Flame (feat. NVRLESS)” that’ll satisfy your need for a BANGER! 🔥🤘
I mean, my issue isn't that it's softer. It's that it's bad. It just sounds like generic radio rock. There is absolutely nothing interesting or unique. Like it was written for Octane.
You are allowed to criticise them you know, this is quite bland, it's fine. I really hope this is the "accessible" song and not what the whole album is about
The songs not bad but its just bland, the heavy stuff isnt just heavy it's technical and invokes emotion and takes the listener on a ride. I have no issues with bands doing what they want but my biggest childhood trauma is having Linkin Park go from metora and hybrid theory to every thing after that.
I grew up on rock so I don’t mind metal bands going rock. I love Wage War but this song is just meh. It’s more like poppy kinda rock.
weak sauce
This song just isn't for me. To me it's a weak first release. Nothing stands out, it sounds pretty recycled from a ton of other bands and I really dislike the electronic effects they put on. Not for me.
What a bland / nothing song sadly
I get why bands go down this path but god I hate this Memphis May Fire core. At least I still have Blueprints and Deadweight.
