The fact that you are thinking about this, in your 20s, trying to find your path, is so much more than 98% of people your are are doing. Don't panic too much. Try things out, learn a little here an there. Once you feel confidently about a certain path, go for that. Even if you take a year or two to try things out, you will be far and above most others once you get going.
Completely agree. So many companies. New tools every day. There does not feel like a clear path to survival. That said, with just being aware of and current with AI you are well ahead of the bulk of humanity so that counts for something. Also think survival will come from being current and having some other subject matter of which you are knowledgeable. Best of times, worse of times indeed.
I live in a 3rd world country. I took an online software developer job that take me 2 hours to accomplish (with the help of AI ofc). This video was very interesting, but here's the thing: we can't all be business owners and businesses need clients. Of course, in many cases, the clients are other businesses, but at some point businesses need individuals to buy their products and services. If everyone that doesn't have a business, doesn't have a job because that job was taken away by AI, then those people won't have money to buy the services and products that companies make. So, then what?
Because she relies on selling anxiety to get clicks and views. Then she earns a living by getting sponsorship. Tina gets subscriptions and income, but we only get endless anxiety. This is the AI anxiety harvester of the new era.
Hi Tina, I am a Care Assistant. I have been learning how to code since last year to get out of care giving. Now I am just confused, don't know whether to continue. All I know is I don't want to be a caregiver anymore, but I bills and a family. AI is moving too quickly.

AI IS moving too quickly, but find one thing you can get really good at (like ChatGPT) and go from there. Wanted to wish you the best!

Would like see this video be a start of series on leveraging AI tools and technology to grow. (be it to grow a business, or roles in providing business services) Like the bit at end about augmenting personal skills to dissociate time and money.
Awesome share Tina. I really love this and i look forward to more content. I am actually in sales and would love to know more especially as it relates to sales.
Hi Tina, thank you for this post, really informative. You asked what our job is and what industry. I am a Learning and Development Specialist and Course Creation Coach and I’m starting my own business to help emerging midlife entrepreneurs and SMEs start and scale their businesses.
To answer one of your question : still a student in cultural management (France). Still a bit scared to put my name or face on a website or on social media even though I know its very easy to know about a person whereabouts and situation with just a quick search.
Hi. I'm an IT director in network engineering and a network architect. I've built and managed large enterprise networks for the last 20+ years and lead network engineering teams. Thinking about starting my own company and riding the AI wave. Since my core competency is networking I'm looking to see how I can leverage AI and automation to either create my own products or open a consultancy. I recently discovered your content and I think you do an amazing job with it. Much appreciated.
I am a Quality Assurance Specialist. Having 12+ Years of experience in the Financial, MFS, and Trading domains. AI is common in my domain, so it's not a new thing.
The recent layoffs can be seen as an encouraging indicator for what lies ahead. This shift suggests that the competitive landscape is becoming more equitable for both large and small entities. For instance, if a major player like Blizzard were to replace its skilled workforce with AI, one might question the quality and appeal of their future games. Wouldn't it be more appealing to support the ventures of the talented individuals who, after being laid off, band together to form new, innovative companies? This scenario could lead to a more balanced and fair competition. Large corporations have traditionally relied on capturing consumer attention, a tactic many have grown weary of. The real creativity and innovation often come from those who were let go, and now, with equal access to AI technology, these smaller startups stand on equal footing with the giants. The key is to maintain open access to AI technology, preventing its monopolization by large corporations and encouraging a diverse ecosystem of smaller, creative teams. The notion of job security within these large corporations is becoming less relevant as people realize that their support and purchasing power can shift the balance. By choosing to invest in smaller companies known for their creativity and innovation, consumers can foster a more vibrant and diverse industry. In essence, if top talents from companies like Blizzard were to establish their own enterprises, it would compel such large corporations to compete on the basis of genuine talent and innovation, rather than mere marketing strategies.
i cant help but think that I graduated with a mechanical engineering degree in the worst time possible. Not only is the field kind of being left behind by the software industry, but it's also in the middle of a hiring drought.
Hello. I am watching your video as a Software engineer in a bank. I, however, have a master degree in AI and Computer vision but couldn't manage to find a job in my country because it is not used.
As somebody who want switch career to Tech, what would be the fundamentals to start learning in this 2024? and where? I mean a truly novice with aspirations to land a entry Level job in the near future
Love your content, Tina! Yes, please do a video on what kind of AI businesses to start. I've been trying to pivot my career for the past 3 years and could use help getting out of my rut. Thanks!
Would digital marketing or teaching be a good career to get into now? I’m considering pursuing marketing but my true dream job would to be a music teacher
Both are great areas that AI can do a lot for. Especially digital marketing where there are less rules surrounding it right now you can move quickly! I think looking into how music is being developed with AI and how you can use it to augment your work is worth looking into!
Hmm. Learning to use AI has a low barrier of entry (anyone can start at any time). Large models are entirely dependent on the whims of large companies. And most AI products are on a want rather than need foundation. But the video does give counter points to these
Thank you for this i mean this is just so informative and eye opening. as a photographer trying to establish myself and get more paying clients, it can be difficult, knowing when to look into other fields to get information assistance this was on point
Im braziliam and i dont have a job right know. My main goal its finding skills to specialize and being able to work in the new market, the difficult part is knowing where to start studying, in addition to the Brazilian content being a little behind.🤔
i'd really like a video about how to start an ai business for people with no coding skills. do these people need to go back and learn coding or is there a way to start an ai business without that skill? or if coding is needed, how to get the skills quickly enough to compete with those people who grew up with learning a programming skill. thanks a lot!
Work can be a real stress-fest, but having some backup can definitely lighten the load. Still, it's frustrating when AI just can't seem to grasp what you really need. Case in point: I come home to a stack of a thousand spreadsheets to fill out and 50 emails to blast out after a grueling 12-hour workday. 😩 It's a major bummer because by the time I'm done, my productivity's tanked, and it feels like I'm just spinning my wheels ...
It's a real hassle all around when you're tackling a project that needs to be developed quickly and requires unique research. This whole process becomes cumbersome, slowing down my workflow. Finding the exact solution is rare and quite challenging. 😓 It feels like hitting a wall sometimes!
There's a ton of help out there online, but there's a big difference between a digital assistant and a digital taskmaster. Not too long ago, I was working on a project that involved wrangling a spreadsheet with 2500 characters, each needing to be unique. I tried searching for solutions, but it didn't help one bit. Ended up having to ditch the whole project...
Great video :) I like to tag myself as a business data scientist. I am self employed now after several years in the industry. I am using gpt on a daily basis, and it helps me a lot. I do try to learn topics that it can't help me (llms and causal ai, for instance). I think it is also very important to learn about low code and no code solutions that can enhance your work and let you focus only on the things you are good at. The 1-person-startup and one-man-army are terms that are going to be very relevant soon.
I am a mechanical design engineer who likes to inform about other stuff: AI, 3D printing, 3D graphics, game development, mechatronics, robotics. As far as I know, innmy job, AI can help in doing repetitive tasks, but generative AI for mechanical design is just at the beginning of it's development. What's your opinion: Can take AI jobs, like mechanical design in the near future?
I am a Software QA. I am focusing my efforts towards testing AI models and AI generated code. I figure that the current dev to QA ratio is going to shift as more companies start leaning into AI. Only problem now is that the code can be pretty trashy when it comes to working in complex systems so a QA that can perform QA on the model and the generated code might be pretty valuable .
Hi Tine, thanks for the video and sharing. You have very good content on your channcel. Yes will love to hear your thought on what you do or plan to do to leverage AI to build different businesses as an AI enthusiast and solo-preneur. I think at the moment, there are many people who know the importance to get themselves educated about AI but they are fearful and don't know where to start.

I recently obtained a certificate in data science from a local University but finding that its not enough and i want to learn more. AI definitely helps me with my coding, math problems too lol. Its tough out there especially since I’m changing careers and my experience is all in hospitality. But i’m going to keep pushing and learning. Appt all your words of wisdom!

I am brazilian industrial technician, and I already know that AI is reality mainly on my field.
And I completely agree with your thoughts about being an entrepreneur, but that is also my weakest point, an excellent at technical things and terrible at selling myself.
I'd like to know more about entrepreneurship. If you have hints to give me, I'd appreciate it.
Congratulations for your channel and all the work you've done sharing knowledge with us. Thank you
after quickly skimming through I have no idea what you are trying to say.

Would like see this video be a start of series on leveraging AI tools and technology to grow.
(be it to grow a business, or roles in providing business services)
Like the bit at end about augmenting personal skills to dissociate time and money.

Hi Tina, thank you for this post, really informative. You asked what our job is and what industry. I am a Learning and Development Specialist and Course Creation Coach and I’m starting my own business to help emerging midlife entrepreneurs and SMEs start and scale their businesses.
Thanks for sharing! And so cool that you're venturing out with your own business
I am a veterenarian . How would these skills will help me grow my portfolio?
To answer one of your question : still a student in cultural management (France). Still a bit scared to put my name or face on a website or on social media even though I know its very easy to know about a person whereabouts and situation with just a quick search.
The service in that sponsored segment impressed me. It's that easy now huh. There's no more excuses for us not to succeed

Hi Tina, thanks for sharing helpful information. Yes, I'm very interested in a videyk about jobs related to AI
A learner in machine learning and AI here
Trying to job hunt for 7 months now
Fantastic stuff. A potent dose of reality. This is helpful as I start my AI journey
i cant help but think that I graduated with a mechanical engineering degree in the worst time possible. Not only is the field kind of being left behind by the software industry, but it's also in the middle of a hiring drought.
I am web dev intern, just started my career.
Thanks!
I second this..1 year trying to figure out how to make sense of this AI wave..

You basically told us to watch your next video. This is all that this video was about. And some adds
i'd really like a video about how to start an ai business for people with no coding skills. do these people need to go back and learn coding or is there a way to start an ai business without that skill? or if coding is needed, how to get the skills quickly enough to compete with those people who grew up with learning a programming skill. thanks a lot!
Hei Tina !!! Thanks for warning experience in your contents. Hugs from Douglas . 🎉🎉🎉
What is the important non IT AI skills / programs to master for the investment service / wealth management sector?
Would love to hear about your thoughts on starting an AI business with related skills 🙌🏻❤
Yes, I’m very interested in a video like that. Thank you for making such a great content.

Great content, thanks for the Video! Keep up the good work!
Yes, Coach. Im all in building my own bolt from your other video. Make more videos for the non coders....
Great video :)
I like to tag myself as a business data scientist.

Honestly so much value..
Thank you Tina
I'm on the verge of completing my data science program, and looks like I'll be studying some more yeepppeeee
Thank you for the content.
I am an IT project manager.
I am interested in a video of skills and other stuff that you mentioned at the end
Love the video. Re inflation, though. From the high of 9% inflation back in June 2022, it has been on a consistent downward trend - at present 3%, and it has been around 3% for 8 months.
Lead software engineer, currently woeking on a project related to traveling
Yes please, I would love a video on AI businesses!
Very well explained loved this Tina 🐝😎🚀
