The filling inside the tart is made up of eggs,milk or cream and sugar its baked in the oven we have are own variation in the UK its mostly made with short crust pastry with nutmeg on top as well.

Yum. Filipinos have a version of the same buns and they are also really good! There is a adobo chicken or adobo pork flavor. Give it a try if you can get a hold of them!!
