Boom Clap isn't a bad song but it's just way too mid tempo for them to go all out, but the fact they pulled the same shit they did on Kennedy. But hey at least Kameron knew all her words!

As a Filipino fan, at this point, I'm just hoping Ru AND Michelle stay the tuck AWAY from our local franchise. After the shitshow that was Down Under and questionably misunderstanding references on UK, I just KNOW they know next to nothing about Filipino culture and references, and they will literally run our franchise into the ground with their judging. On the flipside, I'm glad we're getting multiple drag shows at the same time, but it does feel highly suspicious that this announcement comes... so close to Drag Den.
I think you're good...any Drag Race franchise without the title "Rupaul's" is safe from Ru and Michelle lmao. Ru will prolly only be involved involved in a couple short video messages where she mispronounces one of the queen's name (thinking DRT season 2)
Hopefully it will be like Thailand where she only sent a couple of videos. I'm always irritated that her team doesn't take the time to research the culture. Some of their judging on Australia was so obviously off because they didn't get references. Really cringy to me.

I don’t think they anticipated how poorly many of the queens were gonna perform. Ru and Michelle were only attached to the season very shortly before it began filming.

I had followed him for years and it was obvious (to me) that they were jerking him around for the drama. I also hated seeing the "fans" viciously going after her...In general all the attacking of queens from these fans really makes me angry. I'm constantly defending the queens even when they tell me not to worry, like Mayhem and Jaremi did. Why can't we all just discuss our opinions without being hateful? You know? Woman (a Karen) threatened my life on IG yesterday when I defended Pandora! She even went on my home page to look at my photos and make hateful comments about my appearance! Klub Kids is a major promoter though and responsible for a large amount of Drag Race queens tours. They have a long history of mistreating and underpaying (or sometimes just not paying) not Drag Race girls and many have been speaking up about this recently. I was hoping Bussy might cover that too but unfortunately not. It's disappointing that more people with platforms aren't highlighting this

I'm cringing at Manila's Filipino accent though. I sounds like a mockery. Tbh, I used to do that with my sis when we were kids (imitating our mom and our cousins for fun), but it just feels like she's making fun of the accent at this point. I haven't watched the full trailer though.
I feel like Kameron was mad because she didn't get the same amazing fan reaction as Laganja, and then she said that she was upset about 'being used for a cheap storyline' to help justify her feelings. No one was blaming Kameron for Eureka's elimination (or really even associating them as best friends or whatever).
Yuppp her narcissistic view of herself clashed with how she wanted and needed to be presented. Mind you she’s been one of the only consistent rugirls for the world of wonder line , including a spot in the Vegas lineup. Laganja waited so long for that moment, and it makes sense why she got it. Kameron didn’t build a storyline other than besties with Eureka, she’s a great performer, but it’s not what the show needed right then.
I'd agree with this except from the way Kameron was describing it, it sounds like something that has stressed her out since it was filmed. like the main things that she was embarrassed by were that it was a boring lipsync and potentially because she had Eureka's lipstick

At first, I thought she was gonna share something thats actually controversial, like "the producers changed the song in a very short notice" or "I wasn't supposed to be the lipsync assassin at that episode and they changed it when I wasnt ready". I was so confused at Kameron acting like that. Yes the lipsync wasnt great, but it wasnt vivienne vs honey or dax vs laila. And if she didnt want to be included as a "storyline" then why accept the offer in the first place?
Not gonna lie, despite how shady Ru was for announcing Drag Race PHL the same time Manila announced the casting call for Drag Den, I am absolutely excited for both. There is so much untapped gay culture in the Philippines, and SOOOOOOO much talent from our local queens. Now they have TWO reality TV show platforms to showcase their talent and skills and our culture. Plus, what I've always loved about Drag Race and drag in general is how political it is, and coming from a predominantly roman catholic country where our politicians literally call us animals, it would be amazing to have the same level of political discussion with our sociopolitical climate in the Philippines. from what I've known DragDen is not a long series, the casting is also apparently done on tiktok because all those who want to audition must post a short drag transformation on the platform, so they're really putting it out there for everyone to see lmao, the project doesn't seem to be like La Mas Draga and is said to also air this year. so I don't think both of the shows would conflict each other. Manila also said that she wants to be the host of Drag Race Philippines so there's a lot of time for that, which I hope happens 🤞
As much as I would like Manila to host DRPHL, there's this thing called "Conflict of Interest". So Cornerstone Productions (of Drag Den) might not permit her to host another show that's also about Drag.

Kameron is entitled to her feelings and there might be more that happened behind the scenes that we don't know, I mean it's dragrace and world of wonder, there's always something more. But I do wish she had just kept it moving and didn't make a scene on social media. A lot of queens who are amazing lipsynchers had a meh performance as an assassin. Alyssa edwards, Kennedy davenport and Manila, 3 queens that are unanimously expected by fans to always murder in lipsyncs but didn't. They just said their thank yous on instagram and moved on.

As a Filipino, I am beyond thrilled to have Drag Den alone because for me, it is the farthest we can go. I never sensed that PH would have a RPDR franchise. However, I would also like to see how our queens play in RPDR as a fan of the show. Apparently, they are really trying to correct their down under mistake by releasing a casting call now 😭😭😭 the timing is indeed shady but yea rpdr wont let PH have drag den first before them considering the amount of Filipino audience they have

Kameron is my favourite DragRace queen, loved her on season 10 and have been waiting for her to be an Assassin since AllStars 5. Was so excited to see her coming back and get the attention she deserves… and then it was such a flop. She didn’t help herself by blowing it a little out of proportion but my heart goes out to her, she needed this time to show herself off to the fan base that often overlooks her, and all it did was make things worse

Thank you for this tea recap.. Bussy, our number one source of drag content 💕 and I do understand where Kameron is coming from.. She is a sick performer and that lip sync didn't do her any justice.. Maybe a combination of the song and the editing... I hope that there is a Vegas Revue S2 so she can get a redemption of some sorts
I don't believe some of these queens who say their lipsync date didn't change. It seems Ike RPDR keeps putting the bottom queen's friend as the lip sync assassin to send them home. I just don't get why, it's never been a moment they capitalized on or the audience cares about.
Only Top 3? Dida’s “This Will Be” lip sync is the best throughout the seasons. True embodiment of the song. No need for a reveal or acrobatics, just old school performance. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guest judge so into a lip sync as Natalie Cole. I’ve just finished rewatching S4 and from my perspective, the gag was that Dida probably should have been safe- her runway was pretty good (save for the ashy knees). It probably should have been Madame LaQueer lip syncing bc she missed the mark on her runway and the challenge. But the producers must have just wanted a good lip sync for Natalie, who was also such a great guest judge. Such good feedback and warmth. And constructive criticism. That’s something we don’t get as much now, it’s almost like Drag Race is so big that the guest judges don’t want to be too critical fearing the wrath of the fan base.

Kennedy was asked to lip sync because of the validity in her abilities. Kameron was asked to lip sync because they wanted her to send home Eureka. Kennedy didnt remember the words, and also lost. But Kameron prepared, won and people are shitting on the performance because the song is bad. Theres a lot of reasons for Kameron to be pissed and it makes total sense.
It seemed strange to me that they announced Drag Race Philippines was happening without naming a host, saying the host announcement would come later, which I don't think has ever happened for another franchise. I think this makes the timing more suspicious. That being said, I think it's great that the Philippines is getting two drag-based TV shows and I'm excited to watch both!
For the Kameron Drama, I think there may have been more going on then what we've heard. From what Ive seen Kameron has never spoken out like that, which leads me to think something else happened behind the scenes that she's not legally allowed to fully talk about yet. Its just my opinion but given WoW track record of how they treat queens....
I saw someone comment saying that since Kameron was talking about “cheap storylines”, it may have been have been a situation where her and Jessica Wilds songs/appearances were switched so they could send home their friend/sister. Yara had said somewhere that Jessica’s appearance was rescheduled. Possibly because production wanted to make it more emotional or shocking by making her send Yara home. Who knows but it’s interesting to think about! Also Roxxxy refused to perform Reba’s Fancy and it fell on Kennedy. Something else to think about.

As for Klub Kids UK productions, now both Yvie and Madame Madness have pulled out of the Twisted Circus tour scheduled for early September, naming the same reasons as the others who withdrew from Drag Fest. So now the Twisted Circus tour has lost 2 of its 8 scheduled performers. Not a good look to say the least.
As someone from the Philippines, queens have now the dilemma to audition for both shows (Drag Den and DRag Race Philippines). The audition process is different for the shows and has no set date of filming. What if a queen got cast on both shows? let's see how this turns out... Lots of love to Bussy from the Philippines
The issue with having two drag competitions in the Philippines is that perhaps Drag Race queens will feel superior to the DragDen ones, because Drag Race will be on WOW Presents+ and the queens will be able to get a booth in DragCon and join a world tour. It will be like Drag Race vs Dragula. Dragula’s queens are amazing but they don’t get the same hype as Drag Race queens because it’s just a little show… So hopefully the pilipinos will love both sets of queens and the real drag fans will also support both shows fairly.
I went to a Klub Kids event last week in London and three of the Ru girls scheduled to appear weren’t there (Shea, Trinity and Tayce). Luckily I didn’t have to pay the full price for my meet and greet tickets (£90 each!), but this happens a lot with Klub Kids events from what I’ve heard from friends/ gossiping in the smoking area of the Two Brewers 🤣
Can I just take a moment to fangirl over the fact that since Dragula operates under the aesthetic that it does, it can call a gameshow staple of a “returning competitor” as a RESURRECTION like how appropriate 😭
Another franchise. I'm glad for the performers who will get the exposure they need to make their art profitable. And also for the viewers who get to see their local LGBT culture celebrated on TV. But at this point Drag Race to me feels like a late-stage reality show going off in all directions to keep itself fresh.
You do realize not only Americans watch drag race, when drag race Spain came out I was so excited because I got to see more of MY representation and thats why Manilla made her show in the first place. I know it may feel like a cash grab to you but for non American drag loving people, it’s nice to see representation in your own country

I have to agree with Kameron. I was so annoyed that they called Kameron back to do such a mediocre lip sync song. I definitely was to push a storyline and I feel as if Raja subconsciously threw that lip sync. You can tell she wasn’t even trying and you can tell Kameron wasn’t really feeling it either. Two strong lip sync queens with high energy had to lip sync to boom clap… that was some bs lol
My thing with the Kameron situation is that this is NOT the first time a queen like Kameron was brought back as a LS Assassin and was given a slower song that doesn't ask for a lot of flashy moves (for example how Kennedy Davenport was brought back in AS5 for a Reba MacIntyre song). However, this is ALSO not the first time that a LS Assassin has had to send home someone who has direct relation to them this season. We witnessed Coco send home Serena and Jessica send home Yara, in addition to Jessica LITERALLLY expressing how sad she was to send her friend home. Kameron does have the to right to her feelings but...this seemed like a lot, but what do I know, maybe Kameron has been going through it this year and I just don't realize it.

In my opinion, I actually agree with Kameron. Imagine getting on the show and being established as a performer, then having the special chance of returning to the show as a lipsync assassin, only to be able to not show you're full abilities and possibly tarnish your reputation to newer fans just because of a song.
Literally Silky being so amazing on this last episode has made everyone completely forget that Kameron Michaels was on it so they should be really happy about that and that no one is talking about it (which he wanted since he regretted going on) The universe has corrected itself
Lipsyncing is also portrayal of one's creativity to adapt to the song and illustrate well what you hear through your body. There are songs who are very easy to lipsync to, and there are some that aren't. That gives it the flavor and quite frankly differentiates creative and intriguing performers from those who developed dance technique. I did not expect Kameron's reaction, I think it was driven by some other motives he had for that episode (maybe living to Laganja's potential, cause she made that lipsync her trademark moment). While Kameron went into tantrum over not getting a perfect song, Rajah owned it and admitted she couldn't get the vibe and do it well. I admire her honesty and class. Drag Queens should be prepared to perform to a variety of songs and deliver class with their creativeness. My two cents.
When I saw that Kameron was FINALLY the Lipsync assassin, I jumped and screamed. She is my favorite lipsync performer of all times, but then the lipsyinc started and I started to feel my heart being smashed.... She was so beautiful, the song was a great song, but somehow it wasnt great.... I cannot lie I was very disappointed, but would never post anything about it because I know how great she is - also Raja is a great performer so I guess I set my expectations too high... I am just sad that is is all happening now because she might never come back for another round. Love her though

I love how Bob said “The Fyre Fest of Drag”. LOL but no one went to jail this time. I finally know why Kameron was uncomfortable, even after seeing her black square post days ago. Just leave Kameron alone, she has been thru a lot with depression during the pandemic, and she has every right to say what she feels. So many queens were glorified to speak their mind and now Kameron is being seemed as dramatic? I think I know why, but I’ll let you all figure it out. RPDR keeps doing business of brewing drama like expensive coffee in the mornings. They did the same thing with Yara Sofia by getting Jessica Wild to reveal the lipstick. It was all calculated. Reality shows have to trigger or they can’t stay competitive. Speaking of competitions, Manila’s show and Drag Race Philippines timing could be not much of a coincidence. I always thought they did Manila dirty, like why couldn’t they ask her to host the show in time. Also Brazil and France needed their DR by popular demand, no shade to the Philippines.

I am from the Philippines and actually, it got me really confused. I thought Drag Den was RuPaul's Drag Race and they just rebranded it for the Philippines. Then one of my friends posted that there were talks that the host will be either Paolo Ballesteros (a celebrated drag artist) or Vice Ganda (a very popular drag entertainer). I commented that I thought it was already Manila Luzon hosting that show but it turned out that there were TWO shows coming out with the same premise as RPDR. Well, whatever because I am very excited. There are a lot of drag queens here and it's now time to show them to the whole country and the whole world!
It was a very low energy lip sync. I thought that maybe, they would do a Alexis Mateo type of interpretation: feeling the song through subtle motion. Not all lip syncs have to be like a gymnast floor exercise. But it was neither. It was just flat. I can understand Cameron’s feelings, it was her moment to shine & it didn’t play that way. They both looked fabulous, though. And it is now drag history.
Κey info missing from the dragfest story: after three times rescheduling the event from original date of June 2020, and dropping half the original announced cast (including rolaskatox) they refused all ticket refunds! They ended up cancelling/ghosting most US and non-UK queens except for the ones already in UK for their own personalor group tours (except doll haus, ongina, milk, rock sakura). That's one way to cut travel expenses

I was so confused when I saw Kameron's message. That was A LOT of emotions for a lipsync moment that nobody was blaming her for. I wish queens will put their mental health first. If you are going to react like that, baby, the reality tv environment is not for you. Your mental health should be first. I hope she doesn sign up for any all stars. I really do feel for Kameron. She´s one of the best, if not the best lipsync performer we´ve ever seen on the show. Not only did they invite her back to lipsync to that trash song (which is in no way a good lipsync song), where she didn´t get the chance to show the full potential of her abilities, they also made her send her sister Eureka home. And we all know that they are (or at least used to) be very close. I totally get that she felt used, because we all know the riggery WoW loves to stage for the divas. If I was her, I would also be mad.
I feel for Kameron, she's been through a lot this passed year and it seemed like things were getting better for her. Then this dropped and it took her back to a dark place.

I think getting ready for a drag show and arranging everything for it takes a lot more time, money, and effort than World of Wonder could put on since Manila’s announcement. I think it was planned long in advance. However, long before both announcements someone could have heard the idea by the other team and go on with the project. And we cannot know who: it can both be World of Wonder seeing a promising market after Manila came up with the show and Manila wanting a piece of the pie. I wonder which show gets better reception 🧐
The whole drama about the lipsync seemed unnecessary. When I watched the episode I thought, "Ra'jah seems tame during this lipsync. C'mon girl you can do better than this." Afterward, I forgot about it, but it figures the fanbase would go full Mommie Dearest. I don't understand why fans think that by being consumers of drag race they can accuse and attack queens on social media. It's baffling from both the perspective of entitlement and conviction. I love drag race as well, but I'm not gonna actually spend time tweeting or DMing queens about my perceptions of the quality of their lipsync. I suppose in order to be a superfan you have to be toxic. Who knows! That said, I don't get Kameron's retraction of her tweet via deleting it only to upload videos of her saying she doesn't regret it, won't apologize, and stands by it. Girl, you're entitled to feel however you want.
I absolutely get really angry at people that feel like they can be nasty to people they don't know who are doing something they could never do! I try to always put myself in someone else's shoes first. Who am I to judge?
I think Kameron feels things strongly (anyone else remember the drama right after her season too?) and because she doesn't have as strong of a friendship circle inside of the drag world, she seems to get inside of her head a lot. I've also noticed she gets a lot of backlash for her posts, as opposed to gleaming sunshine (I can think of another queen who Can Do No Wrong according to their fans) so.. idk. I think she was right in saying she was being dramatic, but she addressed that and was honest. I don't think it needs to go further than that. We always push for people to apologize, so when they do, we should let it rest.
Kameron is a introvert. In her season she found it hard to get ready with the girls because they did a lot of small talk and they were too loud for her to concentrate. I don't think it's that she doesn't make friends with them she just doesn't make friends the same way others do. Also introverts generally do not small talk so when we vent we vent hard. I think people just saw her as antisocial and so attack her whenever they can but she is such a hard worker. I honestly love and respect her and can see what she was saying.

As a Filipino fan, at this point, I'm just hoping Ru AND Michelle stay the tuck AWAY from our local franchise. After the shitshow that was Down Under and questionably misunderstanding references on UK, I just KNOW they know next to nothing about Filipino culture and references, and they will literally run our franchise into the ground with their judging. On the flipside, I'm glad we're getting multiple drag shows at the same time, but it does feel highly suspicious that this announcement comes... so close to Drag Den.

I don’t think they anticipated how poorly many of the queens were gonna perform. Ru and Michelle were only attached to the season very shortly before it began filming.

Klub Kids is a major promoter though and responsible for a large amount of Drag Race queens tours. They have a long history of mistreating and underpaying (or sometimes just not paying) not Drag Race girls and many have been speaking up about this recently. I was hoping Bussy might cover that too but unfortunately not. It's disappointing that more people with platforms aren't highlighting this

from what I've known DragDen is not a long series, the casting is also apparently done on tiktok because all those who want to audition must post a short drag transformation on the platform, so they're really putting it out there for everyone to see lmao, the project doesn't seem to be like La Mas Draga and is said to also air this year. so I don't think both of the shows would conflict each other. Manila also said that she wants to be the host of Drag Race Philippines so there's a lot of time for that, which I hope happens 🤞

Alyssa edwards, Kennedy davenport and Manila, 3 queens that are unanimously expected by fans to always murder in lipsyncs but didn't. They just said their thank yous on instagram and moved on.

Kameron is my favourite DragRace queen, loved her on season 10 and have been waiting for her to be an Assassin since AllStars 5. Was so excited to see her coming back and get the attention she deserves… and then it was such a flop. I don't believe some of these queens who say their lipsync date didn't change. It seems Ike RPDR keeps putting the bottom queen's friend as the lip sync assassin to send them home. I just don't get why, it's never been a moment they capitalized on or the audience cares about.
It's getting to the point where you know who is going home based on who the assassin is before the lip sync even happens.
Only Top 3? Dida’s “This Will Be” lip sync is the best throughout the seasons. True embodiment of the song. No need for a reveal or acrobatics, just old school performance. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guest judge so into a lip sync as Natalie Cole. I’ve just finished rewatching S4 and from my perspective, the gag was that Dida probably should have been safe- her runway was pretty good (save for the ashy knees). It probably should have been Madame LaQueer lip syncing bc she missed the mark on her runway and the challenge. But the producers must have just wanted a good lip sync for Natalie, who was also such a great guest judge. Such good feedback and warmth. And constructive criticism. That’s something we don’t get as much now, it’s almost like Drag Race is so big that the guest judges don’t want to be too critical fearing the wrath of the fan base.

But Kameron prepared, won and people are shitting on the performance because the song is bad. Theres a lot of reasons for Kameron to be pissed and it makes total sense.
It seemed strange to me that they announced Drag Race Philippines was happening without naming a host, saying the host announcement would come later, which I don't think has ever happened for another franchise. I think this makes the timing more suspicious. That being said, I think it's great that the Philippines is getting two drag-based TV shows and I'm excited to watch both!
For the Kameron Drama, I think there may have been more going on then what we've heard. From what Ive seen Kameron has never spoken out like that, which leads me to think something else happened behind the scenes that she's not legally allowed to fully talk about yet. Its just my opinion but given WoW track record of how they treat queens....
I saw someone comment saying that since Kameron was talking about “cheap storylines”, it may have been have been a situation where her and Jessica Wilds songs/appearances were switched so they could send home their friend/sister.
Yara had said somewhere that Jessica’s appearance was rescheduled. Possibly because production wanted to make it more emotional or shocking by making her send Yara home.

As for Klub Kids UK productions, now both Yvie and Madame Madness have pulled out of the Twisted Circus tour scheduled for early September, naming the same reasons as the others who withdrew from Drag Fest. So now the Twisted Circus tour has lost 2 of its 8 scheduled performers. Not a good look to say the least.
Honestly Kameron is one of the last Drag Queens i would think would be in a scandal.

As someone from the Philippines, queens have now the dilemma to audition for both shows (Drag Den and DRag Race Philippines). The issue with having two drag competitions in the Philippines is that perhaps Drag Race queens will feel superior to the DragDen ones, because Drag Race will be on WOW Presents+ and the queens will be able to get a booth in DragCon and join a world tour. It will be like Drag Race vs Dragula. Dragula’s queens are amazing but they don’t get the same hype as Drag Race queens because it’s just a little show… So hopefully the pilipinos will love both sets of queens and the real drag fans will also support both shows fairly.
I went to a Klub Kids event last week in London and three of the Ru girls scheduled to appear weren’t there (Shea, Trinity and Tayce). Luckily I didn’t have to pay the full price for my meet and greet tickets (£90 each!), but this happens a lot with Klub Kids events from what I’ve heard from friends/ gossiping in the smoking area of the Two Brewers 🤣

I'm glad for the performers who will get the exposure they need to make their art profitable. And also for the viewers who get to see their local LGBT culture celebrated on TV.
But at this point Drag Race to me feels like a late-stage reality show going off in all directions to keep itself fresh.
You do realize not only Americans watch drag race, when drag race Spain came out I was so excited because I got to see more of MY representation and thats why Manilla made her show in the first place. I know it may feel like a cash grab to you but for non American drag loving people, it’s nice to see representation in your own country

I have to agree with Kameron. I was so annoyed that they called Kameron back to do such a mediocre lip sync song. I definitely was to push a storyline and I feel as if Raja subconsciously threw that lip sync. You can tell she wasn’t even trying and you can tell Kameron wasn’t really feeling it either. Two strong lip sync queens with high energy had to lip sync to boom clap… that was some bs lol

My thing with the Kameron situation is that this is NOT the first time a queen like Kameron was brought back as a LS Assassin and was given a slower song that doesn't ask for a lot of flashy moves (for example how Kennedy Davenport was brought back in AS5 for a Reba MacIntyre song). However, this is ALSO not the first time that a LS Assassin has had to send home someone who has direct relation to them this season. We witnessed Coco send home Serena and Jessica send home Yara, in addition to Jessica LITERALLLY expressing how sad she was to send her friend home. Kameron does have the to right to her feelings but...this seemed like a lot, but what do I know, maybe Kameron has been going through it this year and I just don't realize it.

In my opinion, I actually agree with Kameron. Imagine getting on the show and being established as a performer, then having the special chance of returning to the show as a lipsync assassin, only to be able to not show you're full abilities and possibly tarnish your reputation to newer fans just because of a song.

Literally Silky being so amazing on this last episode has made everyone completely forget that Kameron Michaels was on it so they should be really happy about that and that no one is talking about it (which he wanted since he regretted going on) The universe has corrected itself
Lipsyncing is also portrayal of one's creativity to adapt to the song and illustrate well what you hear through your body. There are songs who are very easy to lipsync to, and there are some that aren't. That gives it the flavor and quite frankly differentiates creative and intriguing performers from those who developed dance technique. I did not expect Kameron's reaction, I think it was driven by some other motives he had for that episode (maybe living to Laganja's potential, cause she made that lipsync her trademark moment).
While Kameron went into tantrum over not getting a perfect song, Rajah owned it and admitted she couldn't get the vibe and do it well. I admire her honesty and class.
Drag Queens should be prepared to perform to a variety of songs and deliver class with their creativeness.

When I saw that Kameron was FINALLY the Lipsync assassin, I jumped and screamed. She is my favorite lipsync performer of all times, but then the lipsyinc started and I started to feel my heart being smashed....
She was so beautiful, the song was a great song, but somehow it wasnt great.... I cannot lie I was very disappointed, but would never post anything about it because I know how great she is - also Raja is a great performer so I guess I set my expectations too high...
I am just sad that is is all happening now because she might never come back for another round. Love her though
Kameron has every right to feel how she feels. she thought she had a good relationship with WOW and feels like she was just used for a gag moment while also not being shown in the most positive light. that's completely valid. and idk why Dita is adding her 2 cents. just because you don't have a close relationship with WOW and haven't received the call to come back doesn't mean queens that are on their payroll aren't allowed to be upset with their showing just because "they're lucky to even have one". its giving "your not allowed to be happy because theirs always someone that's gonna be happier than you" vibes. corny af.

I love how Bob said “The Fyre Fest of Drag”. LOL but no one went to jail this time. I finally know why Kameron was uncomfortable, even after seeing her black square post days ago. Just leave Kameron alone, she has been thru a lot with depression during the pandemic, and she has every right to say what she feels. So many queens were glorified to speak their mind and now Kameron is being seemed as dramatic? I think I know why, but I’ll let you all figure it out. RPDR keeps doing business of brewing drama like expensive coffee in the mornings. They did the same thing with Yara Sofia by getting Jessica Wild to reveal the lipstick. It was all calculated. Reality shows have to trigger or they can’t stay competitive. Speaking of competitions, Manila’s show and Drag Race Philippines timing could be not much of a coincidence. I always thought they did Manila dirty, like why couldn’t they ask her to host the show in time. Also Brazil and France needed their DR by popular demand, no shade to the Philippines.

I am from the Philippines and actually, it got me really confused. I thought Drag Den was RuPaul's Drag Race and they just rebranded it for the Philippines. Then one of my friends posted that there were talks that the host will be either Paolo Ballesteros (a celebrated drag artist) or Vice Ganda (a very popular drag entertainer). I commented that I thought it was already Manila Luzon hosting that show but it turned out that there were TWO shows coming out with the same premise as RPDR. Well, whatever because I am very excited. There are a lot of drag queens here and it's now time to show them to the whole country and the whole world!
Is Manila considered a well known drag queen in the Philippines? Just a random question.
It was a very low energy lip sync. I thought that maybe, they would do a Alexis Mateo type of interpretation: feeling the song through subtle motion. Not all lip syncs have to be like a gymnast floor exercise. But it was neither. It was just flat.
I can understand Cameron’s feelings, it was her moment to shine & it didn’t play that way. They both looked fabulous, though. And it is now drag history.
Κey info missing from the dragfest story: after three times rescheduling the event from original date of June 2020, and dropping half the original announced cast (including rolaskatox) they refused all ticket refunds! They ended up cancelling/ghosting most US and non-UK queens except for the ones already in UK for their own personalor group tours (except doll haus, ongina, milk, rock sakura). That's one way to cut travel expenses

I was so confused when I saw Kameron's message. That was A LOT of emotions for a lipsync moment that nobody was blaming her for. I wish queens will put their mental health first. I really do feel for Kameron. She´s one of the best, if not the best lipsync performer we´ve ever seen on the show. Not only did they invite her back to lipsync to that trash song (which is in no way a good lipsync song), where she didn´t get the chance to show the full potential of her abilities, they also made her send her sister Eureka home. And we all know that they are (or at least used to) be very close. I totally get that she felt used, because we all know the riggery WoW loves to stage for the divas. If I was her, I would also be mad.
I feel for Kameron, she's been through a lot this passed year and it seemed like things were getting better for her. Then this dropped and it took her back to a dark place.

@@otohime8516 Sadly, depression and anxiety doesn't work like that. When you have these problems, you react to situations differently. What may seem like no big deal to you, could be detrimental to someone who already feels insecure, depressed, and anxious. Also, I doubt Charli is offended if she heard about Kameron's message. Charli herself said she wanted Vroom Vroom to be preformed on Drag Race.

I think getting ready for a drag show and arranging everything for it takes a lot more time, money, and effort than World of Wonder could put on since Manila’s announcement. I think it was planned long in advance. However, long before both announcements someone could have heard the idea by the other team and go on with the project. And we cannot know who: it can both be World of Wonder seeing a promising market after Manila came up with the show and Manila wanting a piece of the pie. I wonder which show gets better reception 🧐
The whole drama about the lipsync seemed unnecessary. When I watched the episode I thought, "Ra'jah seems tame during this lipsync. C'mon girl you can do better than this." Afterward, I forgot about it, but it figures the fanbase would go full Mommie Dearest. I don't understand why fans think that by being consumers of drag race they can accuse and attack queens on social media. It's baffling from both the perspective of entitlement and conviction. I love drag race as well, but I'm not gonna actually spend time tweeting or DMing queens about my perceptions of the quality of their lipsync. I suppose in order to be a superfan you have to be toxic. Who knows! That said, I don't get Kameron's retraction of her tweet via deleting it only to upload videos of her saying she doesn't regret it, won't apologize, and stands by it. Girl, you're entitled to feel however you want.
I absolutely get really angry at people that feel like they can be nasty to people they don't know who are doing something they could never do! I try to always put myself in someone else's shoes first. Who am I to judge?

I think Kameron feels things strongly (anyone else remember the drama right after her season too?) and because she doesn't have as strong of a friendship circle inside of the drag world, she seems to get inside of her head a lot. I've also noticed she gets a lot of backlash for her posts, as opposed to gleaming sunshine (I can think of another queen who Can Do No Wrong according to their fans) so.. idk. I think she was right in saying she was being dramatic, but she addressed that and was honest. I don't think it needs to go further than that. We always push for people to apologize, so when they do, we should let it rest.
Kameron is a introvert. In her season she found it hard to get ready with the girls because they did a lot of small talk and they were too loud for her to concentrate. I don't think it's that she doesn't make friends with them she just doesn't make friends the same way others do. Also introverts generally do not small talk so when we vent we vent hard. I think people just saw her as antisocial and so attack her whenever they can but she is such a hard worker. I honestly love and respect her and can see what she was saying.
I was kinda shook about DragDen and Drag Race PH but I’m just happy local queens get to finally show their talent, and make Filipinos more aware about drag in general.
