There are shows that I like better, but there is no other show that has produced so many iconic, quotable lines and phrases. The types of things that if you say them, everyone knows instantly what you're talking about ("world's colliding", "master of my domain", "sponge worthy", "close talker", etc.).

Mixing sets of friends and acquaintances from different eras, cultures or even classes might sound like a great idea at first, but all too often can go pair-shaped, with you caught in the middle of some nasty gossip and innuendo. It can be a bit like mixing drinks. It sounds tantalizing at first, and even refreshing. But in the end, all you're left with is one mother of a hangover!

This exact thing happened to me in 1995. Her name was also Susan, she had a striking resemblance to George's Susan, and I broke up with her after a couple months. She then started going to lunches with my sister, my buddy's wife, and started dating another of my friends. Worlds collided and I hated it. They all eventually figured her out like I did and the problem took care of itself. Thank God.

She doesn't see him as an adult, a sexual being, an equal. Yes, I'm reading too much into it, but if I were a man, I doubt I'd want to be called any variation of that. I KNOW I don't want to be with a guy I end up playfully calling _____Boy. No boys, only men.

I love how Kramer is the one educating clueless Jerry about the Worlds Theory, and how George sounds like a crazy person as he's getting hauled out yelling about it 8D
George's slow burn in the coffee shop is classic. And I love how they're all just staring at him as he's dragged out of the theater in an uncontrollable rage.
It's interesting that the actress playing Susan was never really accepted by the regular cast and they felt she was ruining their timing (even though there was really nothing wrong with her) and so they didn't just write her out like other secondary characters on Seinfeld, they actually killed her so she could never return. Brutal!

She was cast because she looked like someone Larry David interacted with at NBC, and was not supposed to be a recurring role. But when her part was expanded they realized that they had miscast her. Not her fault at all.
Honestly, her acting "problem" really fits the character perfectly. Susan should always be a square peg trying to fit into the round hole of George and the gang. She should always have zero chemistry with them.
It's a shame they cut off that amazing bit in this clip when George talks about the worlds "A George divided against himself, cannot stand." Ofcourse a reference to President Lincoln’s famous speech
The worlds colliding thing is SO real. I have a very close female friend (her late husband was my best friend) who I've known way longer than I've known my wife. When they both wanted to meet right after I started dating my now wife, it made me incredibly uncomfortable. Couldn't stop thinking about this episode. I was actually nervous because they really hit off. Nothing bad ever came of it, thankfully.

Kramer has moments of incredible clarity. When this show aired, I'm so glad that it was given a catch-phrase----everyone knows the phrase "two worlds colliding" and what it means concisely. I can't stand having friends meet other friends from different worlds. It gets all confusing, and sooner or later you can never confide in anyone. Keep them apart, and don't even mention their activities ever. And certainly don't set up two single people. THAT'S a nightmare. Every. Single. Time.
