- Hello, sorry for the wait on this one. I didn't get started on it for quite some time due to other commitments. I had the idea to end the X track like this way back when I was working on Facility, which was a long old time ago.
This level was one of my most played as I used to speedrun it and constantly try to beat my previous time. Always loved the way the level ends with Bond taking out the two guards on the train whilst a snippet of the X track plays.

Bond taking out the two guards you say? I tried finding as many ways as possible to glitch out that cutscene with slow/fast animation, different weapons all that. I remember it taking me a while to get the cheat for this level. When I replayed it recently I had far fewer problems beating the game and unlocking everything then I did some 25 years ago. With age comes wisdom I guess :D.
Other comments covered it. Intro is good and the 1:27 is great too.
I have to admit, I never made it through the entire story on 00Agent difficulty when I was younger, so I missed out on Aztec and Egypt, but now I fly through the campaign. I suppose at the time I found it hard to master the N64 controller. I never knew about glitching out the end cutscene like on Archives until recently.

this is great again. Unfortuntaley I'll be away and won't be able to listen to your next 3 songs which honestly I don't mind since it's train, jungle, and control with control being like the only good one, train is mid, and jungle is basically just nothing XD. But as for Depot, it's another banger. Pretty underrated. I've noticed you've been doing little intros to each song lately and I strongly encourage to keep it up and again I can't really explain it but you just seem to add or redo things in these remasters that just seem to make it more enjoyable and kickass to listen to than the actual soundtrack. My favorite thing in Depot was always listening to those marimbas or xylophones, the brass and the marching snare going absolutely nuts especially for the X version. Similar to Streets i love the constant marching snare beat with the added loud ass intensity toms. Well done can't for control and cradle!

I'm glad yourself and others like the Intros, I don't want them to take away from the tracks or ruin the experience for anyone. I wasn't going to have an intro for this one but I was messing around with a few sounds and it just fit in my opinion, so thanks for the feedback!

@@mattspence1337 of course, jungle (not the X version) is the best song in the game, great percussion, those strings are so harmonic, the trumpets are insane, they even got a choir in some parts that sound awesome XD

Now this is a track that I normally sleep on because of it's slower build-up, but once it hits that part at around 1:27, and especially at 2:19, it just really kicks in and feels like such high energy. That slow build-up is totally needed though, it just makes the transition to the exciting, more busy parts all the better. There's nothing I find more annoying with other Goldeneye remixes when the composer just blows everything at the beginning and there's no sense of build-up. Now that you've done so many of these, there's no doubt at all that Train is going to be great, which I know is one you've been looking forward to doing basically all year.
The 1:27 part might be one of my favourite parts in the OST, it just really kicks the track into high energy like you say. Yeah I've noticed that when I've checked out other renditions of these tracks, alot of people miss that build up.
Ohh man, as much as I've been looking forward to Train, I feel the pressure is on. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I can't wait to get working on the next few tracks. Especially Jungle, having those bird sounds in all their HD, uncompressed glory 😂😉
true..this track is elaborated..it could fit in a movie for example instead a game where the tracks are more simple

One of my favourite tracks, then again most of the OST is killer to me. Great remix, feels fresh but familiar. Also I remember using cheats and throwing timed mines so they explode at the end and stop the train doors haha.

you're well over half way done with the soundtrack now mate! I'e been following along for a good while now, and I've been very impressed every tie. You've ut a ot of work into making all of these sound just like the originals with minor changes in some areas, and somehow you found the original soundfonts in their full HD forms

Hello, I thought I must be about halfway through by now 😆 thankyoi so much, my aim was to always keep the original sound as much as possible.
The sounds are a mixture of original samples that I won't admit how long they took me to find and also samples that I've created myself.
I may create a sample pack once I'm finished with this OST for other people to use if they like.
