2022 NGRS impressions 4K

Here's a quick look at the 2022 National Garden Railway Show layouts. Despite a national rail strike, fuel prices and ongoing public concerns about attending events, there was a good footfall at the show and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. The 2023 show will return to the traditional April slot for the Association, back at the Arena on Saturday 15th April 2023.

Do they allow coal fired steam inside?

Yes we have regularly had coal firing at the show although most of the live steamers are gas fired and some use liquid fuel - particularly the G1 models. One of the benefits of the Peterborough Arena is that there are large roof vents that can be opened.
