I am now 54, I was just a kid when this now classic show was on TV in the late 60's! Robert Conrad was a STUD! ...and the great Victor Buono was also fun to watch, he was just 43 when he passed on New Years' Day 1982 of a massive heart attack...he was always older looking then he was! He was great with Betty Davis in those 2 classic movies, " Whatever Happen to Baby Jane" he was up for an OSCAR at the age of 24, then he was great again in " Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte" ( my Mother watched all those movies as I did with her as a young lad!) Great times....great times..*..I miss.
Pity the powers that be never went beyond 2 WWW episodes with Manzeppi as an antagonist. He was brilliant. Even Dr. Loveless couldn't see thru a Gordon disguise, but Manzeppi did. Delivered with that voice only Buono could give.
I agree. We needed at least one more Count Manzeppi story. I've read that the show had a change in behind the scenes personnel between seasons 2 & 3. The ones running season 3 were not fans of Manzeppi, which is why he didn't return.
I've been watching the entire series on DVD... a gift to myself. I had remembered it was a fun series but I had forgotten, over the years, how much fun.
Too bad we never got a super-villain team up episode- the Loveless/Manzeppi deadly duo! And didn’t Buono write a book of poetry called: It Could Be Verse ?!
Nathan, you did a brilliant job with these two video clips... Count Manzeppi is one of the top ten villains in my book, I loved him since I saw him for the first time, many years ago as a child in Argentina... Congratulations, fellow manseppiphile!
As much as I like Migulito Loveless, Count Manzeppi was the superior villain. He always seemed a step ahead of Jim West at nearly every turn, always had his escape mechanism at the ready, and was not crippled by ego or personal animus as Dr. Loveless was. West could frustrate Manzeppi's schemes but never close the net on him and Manzeppi seemed to take the possibility of defeat into account and was thereby prepared in advance.
Watching. Night of the Eccentrics right now. The Count was a cool villain. He should have appeared in seasons 3 and 4. I recall posting some time ago how. It would've been cool to have a 2 part episode where the villains join together to take out West. The villainous team would be lead by Dr. Loveless with Voltaire, Count Manzeppi, Ms. Valentine and Tyco( leader of Raven with that big head)
Count Manzeppi was probably the sexiest role Victor Buono ever got to play. That flair, that charisma, that voice!
Count Manzeppi and Dr. Loveless, the two best WWW villains. Well done!

He also seemed to find the Uncle Hansee disguise pretty funny!

I love this. I was a big fan of Buono and Dunn in WWW-it's mainly why I watched.
One of the best shows in that time.

The count & Paladin (HGWT) have a very rhythmic and lyrical way of expression which adds to the entertainment value

I have a copy! 'Fat Man's Prayer' is one of my favorites.

Count Manzeppi was my Favorite villain , too bad Jim and Artie never met for round three.

If you can’t beat’em, kill’em.
You did a great job.
Bravo

10-23-2022.
Count Manzeppi and Captain Manzini should have done a comedy routine, sad but they were never put on the same stage!
Don't stumble on the way out Mr. Gordon.
At 1:36 Lt Scanlon from "Barney Miller" walks in.
Can anyone ID the tune he plays on the violin? It's the sane he plays at the end of "Night of the Eccentrics".
Angel's Serenade.
@@Stabulent1 Thanks!
What does Count Manzeppi use to threaten Jim West? Ancient Chinese Secret! 3:42
