Cheryl & Amanda vs The World | Evil Dead the Game

- This was a super intense roller coaster game of survivor in Evil Dead: The Game. We had a Henry player who was basically non-existent, and an Ash that was hell bent on saving him, which left an Amanda player alone with my Cheryl to try to win the game.
This was played on my twitch stream so you'll hear me talking to chat and everything, but the game was so good that I felt like more people needed to see it.

Demon doesn't feel O.P at all, slight bit of cohesion between the group can make it very rough for the demon. Now players understand the characters now, it's extra rough.
I’m still hoping and praying that they give us aim sensitivity options for console and the ability to take aim assist off.
Omg please!!! the sensitivity is sooo slow and the aim assist makes it impossible to hit head shots.
Not to mention when you get your aim right after the aim assist and a new unit comes into view, your reticle seems to lock to them lol. I’ve had this issue too

This has been my experience with solo queue. I love the game and I love playing survivor, but I think I need to wait a little bit for other player to catch on to how to play.

Mad respect for not using the animation cancel bug, it's busted and can ruin games. Always believe in sportsmanship.👍
Is it really a bug though? It requires mechanical skill and similar tech has been a cornerstone of competitive games as far back as Street Fighter 2.
The biggest e-sport game in the world (LOL) has animation cancelling characters like Riven and Fiora. I hope they don't remove it, but introduce a way for demons to utilize it.
@@BunnychanFarabee mechanical skill would be the last thing I describe it as. Its very easy to do. Animation canceling is not bad on its own, but how it works in this game is way to strong. You can literally be infinitely stun locked before you can perform your first action. The moment you posses you are pretty much screwed if a team uses it effectively. Imagine if the animation cancel in lol just forever kept you cc until death and you had no way to counter since you were already stunned before you had control of your character.
@@aidenwhiting5131 abilities have cooldowns. Animation canceling with the same power of ccing you in league does not have a cooldown. Also evil dead is an asymmetrical game. It's more like 4 rivens vs you.
@@windowwax You can be stunlocked with the right build and weapon regardless of animation canceling being in play, because balance modifiers are way too strong. That's a problem with that particular type of damage and it needs to be fixed.
You can also animation cancel the Puppeteer Elite's Lightning with a melee attack so that it goes out instantly. so both sides can do this right now. Honestly the easiest way to "fix" it would be to make melee attacks cost stamina. Still, it's amazing how people complain about this sort of thing instead of learning how to play around it. Imagine if SF2 came out today..."nerf combos, they're too OP!"

This is definitely my only problem with survivor is just the solo experience. I get so many new players with a killer that knows what to do and just demolishes us.

I especially like the coordinated swf that split up. I down one side then go to the other. Unless they split 3 and 1. Then I hold the 3 side that finishes fast. Then possess the solo survivor and leave the circle. Then down them lol
@@192venom I feel that a lot of people who play DBD have switched over to this game. So they have a general idea how to play this game.
Reason I say that is a lot of DBD streamers like tofu have started playing this game. So you got a lot of people who have a pretty good idea how to play asymmetrical game but you also got a lot of popular streamers like H20 delirious playing this game and I think a lot of these noobs have never played a game like this.

idk if you mispoke or not near the end about the team needing to rez amanda but in case you didn't know if you complete the lost pages or dagger, your teammate automatically get revived!

That animation cancel is crap. Keeps anything the demon controls almost permanently stun locked. Even at high level. Can't do anything to counter it either

Pretty sure that's the sound the game makes when Cheryl is at max fear, which Tofu was most of the time. I heard it, too.

I don’t really mind demons feeling a bit overtuned, isn’t the point of survivor to overcome terrible odds? Only fun when it’s challenging

I'm always a heal/support or tank main in games with classes. Folks *do* jump on dmg classes all the time and idk why, cuz they're trash dps players over half the time 🤕
I think ash was the MVP lured the demon out to give them time to win.
Everyone talking about how classes are broken, this is broken on that, etc, look at the very end if you want to see something broken; the AI in this game is absolutely abysmal and I have no idea how no one is talking about this. Like 12 skeletons at the necronomicon and literally none of them are doing anything other than walk around menacingly and feign chasing players, they aren’t even fucking attacking. I’m not expecting the AI to do all the work, but the AI does literally nothing other than laugh and stand idly while I get my ass kicked as a possessed. They even form a large circle to watch you get your ass kicked while they all wait their turn. Would really like to see better AI in the future for non-controlled creatures, at least have them throw out one guaranteed ability, half the time I don’t see my basics or elites do any abilities and just laugh while their friends die, or they spam light at survivors and get instakilled. Maybe I should move off Warlord ? The deadites seem to hate working with each other as Warlord lol

It’s crazy that the average player still has no idea about the basic fundamentals of the game a week after launch. I understand not completely mastering the game, but so many teammates just run around in circles doing absolutely nothing.

@@splinter4161 i don’t expect everyone to be an expert a week into the game. But it feels like almost every game my team consists of complete noobs. They didn’t even do the tutorial and immediately jumped online. Stuff like running off alone, not picking up pink F’s and constantly having a full fear bar and ignoring bonfires. I’m not saying they aren’t allowed to play the game, but I feel like teammates are constantly costing me the win because of their lack of basic knowledge.
