Take Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as an example, he is 193cm, approx 6'4" tall and according to a google search weighs 118kg. That is a BMI of 31.7, otherwise known as Obese. As to a being legally a dwarf to be overweight at 50kg, that would be close, considering little people or "person of short statue", proper terms for people suffering dwarfism are below the height of 147cm or 4'10" they would have to be over 53kg, even then I wouldnt call someone that weight who suffers from dwarfism overweight if they are a bodybuilder because they would be far from overweight when that weight is muscle.
I mean, technically, I am overweight at 160cm(5'4" for you people in Americal) and 50kg because my body fat is high and my muscle virtually nonexistent- even though I am on the skinny side and BMI gets me a 20, maybe 19, Idk I haven't the strength to calculate rn. Anyways on the other hand, if my flat ass is considered obese then like 97% of adult women are going to be.
It's wrong about the underweight section, too. My friend has always been ~ 2 points below the underweight line, but she's fine; she gets her period regularly. (if a woman is clinically classified as underweight, she won't have a menstrual cycle)
As someone who did karate for a long time... Yea you get shunned if you dont put work in. Especially at brown belt and up. Because youre wasting _everyone elses' time_ and nobody will want to spar with you because it can actually make them worse at fighting. I took karate for a good decade, if someone wasn't putting in the effort, yeah no one wanted to partner with them. Those who made higher rank were only those who put in the effort. Our belt testings were in one day, starting with lower ranks and ending with those wanting their black belts. The higher ranks always got there early to encourage the younger kids and lower ranks, especially those whose parents weren't that involved. Lots of friendships were made and ngl I miss them all the time. Still surprised at how much they've grown and proud of those who made it to black belt after I left

Yeah. In school when teaching us about BMI we were told multiple times. BMI holds little value and is only good to be used for the average build individual. If the person is muscular or has medical conditions it goes to hell.

My current acocunt (which I have literally not played on in years) is from like 2016? I think? But my oldest account was from 2011. The hair has oddities but is still reasonably sensible in layering even though it's a complex hairstyle, the ear is surprisingly consistent for the monster girl type, the marker overlap lines are surprisingly realistic... it took me a while of looking at it to catch that the weird shading that looks like AI blending the scale pattern with the block bands would actually make sense if it were an attempt at adding a shadow to indicate a contour from a fold. It all seems surprisingly aware for something purely generative.

BMI, is pretty trash. I'm 5'9" and I have been, since around 7th grade. During football season, I would weigh in at around 195-200 pounds. Regularly. Meanwhile, I had about 7-8 percent body fat. Tested. Which is why I decided against excessive weight cutting, during wrestling season. But, based on that BMI? I was borderline obese. Which is utter bullshit. These days, at nearly 40? That ain't changed much. Even though I do have a higher fat percentage than I did back then. I am FAR, FAR, from being obese. People do have different body types (go figure). And BMI does fuck all to account for those differences.

I got begging mails from her about changing my rating to 5 stars, and she would then give me 20% off my next purchase. A lot of people might take that deal, and that's how they end with so many 5 stars ratings. I didn't take it. This was my first time buying from her and the product was so bad I refused to buy from her again. She didn't offer my money back. Just 20% of my next purchase which felt insulting. And yes, I am a person that normally leaves a lot of 5 stars reviews. I've never had anything fall apart like that before.

Man, that last one gave me math nerd flashbacks. I was trying to figure out what the largest TV I could fit into the space I had, so used a combination of Pythagorean theorem (A squared + B squared = C squared) and some basic algebra to figure out what the generic dimensions of a standard 16 x 9 TV were, came up with the diagonal being roughly 18.36. Reversed it to make a cardboard cutout to figure out the exact size, came up with the smallest 4K they sold at the time being able to fit (43 inch). Comparing the image, the TV, measured on the diagonal is about 4 times the height of a PS5. Not knowing how far away from the TV it is, and generously giving it 100% parity, it is, AT MOST, 60 inches.

The hair has oddities but is still reasonably sensible in layering even though it's a complex hairstyle, the ear is surprisingly consistent for the monster girl type, the marker overlap lines are surprisingly realistic... it took me a while of looking at it to catch that the weird shading that looks like AI blending the scale pattern with the block bands would actually make sense if it were an attempt at adding a shadow to indicate a contour from a fold. It all seems surprisingly aware for something purely generative.
It's entirely possible that it's an AI generation that was then drawn on top of, or vice versa.

However on 2021, ViPriN (who's also a famous person, a moderator and a really great friend of Michi) announced that Michigun died. This devastated everyone including me, the cause of death is unknown because Michi's family decided to not say it.

OH!!! On the note of somebody drawing like ai- Louie Zhong, on Tumblr recently made a redraw (recreation?) of a Far Side comic panel. On that last one there does seem to be a lot of inconsistency on how TV's are measured. My LG C1 is 65" but I've seen what are clearly smaller cheaper brand TV's advertised in shops as 75". I think it's just choosing deceptive ways to get the measurement.
I heard the correct way to measure a TV size is with a diagonal of the screen itself, with the proportions next to the diagonal measurement.

BMI, is pretty trash. I'm 5'9" and I have been, since around 7th grade. During football season, I would weigh in at around 195-200 pounds. Regularly. Meanwhile, I had about 7-8 percent body fat. Tested. Which is why I decided against excessive weight cutting, during wrestling season. But, based on that BMI? I was borderline obese.

These days, at nearly 40? That ain't changed much. Even though I do have a higher fat percentage than I did back then. I am FAR, FAR, from being obese. People do have different body types (go figure). And BMI does fuck all to account for those differences.

Man, that last one gave me math nerd flashbacks. I was trying to figure out what the largest TV I could fit into the space I had, so used a combination of Pythagorean theorem (A squared + B squared = C squared) and some basic algebra to figure out what the generic dimensions of a standard 16 x 9 TV were, came up with the diagonal being roughly 18.36. Reversed it to make a cardboard cutout to figure out the exact size, came up with the smallest 4K they sold at the time being able to fit (43 inch). Comparing the image, the TV, measured on the diagonal is about 4 times the height of a PS5. Not knowing how far away from the TV it is, and generously giving it 100% parity, it is, AT MOST, 60 inches.
