This is so easy to follow, I don't think I would be able to follow a written pattern for this ! I'm looking forward to using some bright pink and lime yarn I have for the petals, maybe on a black background.

The video has skipped an entire round - the all DC/second increasing round in the background colour (pink)

Agreed. I’m experienced and was able to spot this, but a novice wouldn’t.
good tutorial :) but im stuck at the round after we finished the petals. in the video one more round of the background colour appeared.
@prettybraindead1555 hi. I’m not sure I understand the question. However, for the last round, you ch 3 as a double crochet and only increase in the corners
