This is facts. Just reading the title I clicked because a couple months ago i lost my liquor distribution job for hanging up on the safety manager. Two weeks after I started my CDL classes (that I was supposed to start at the beginning of October) and passed in three weeks. I’m here now at my new liquor distribution job making double my old salary. I get pissed once a month thinking about how I felt back when I lost my job but the way it turned around for me was a blessing
The world is crazy sometimes. I had something bad happen at work today and, while I don't think they'll fire me, the worry is there. Somehow I came across this video, the first I've seen of yours, and it helped ease some of the anxiety I've had all day. Thanks man, it means more than you know
Couldn't agree more. I know people hate cliches but one that I live by is the fact that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we don't know what that reason is. In some instances, it's completely hidden and that can be frustrating. But it's not about something happening so that another thing can happen. Sometimes it's about something happening so that another thing DOESN'T happen. I've had so many instances in my life where I was devastated by the loss or ending of some aspect in my life only to find that I was then available for another opportunity. It's true in jobs, relationships, finances, and so many other facets of life. Wise words, my friend. Thanks for posting this.
I always say this a lot of times, Life is happening for us not to us.once you change the way you look at things , the things you look at changes. Lost my insurance Medicare sale job beginning of this year February 22, 2024. Company got sold many people got layed off including myself. Long story short fast forward to june , i got my class A CDL license. And still got my Healthinsurance license as an option or backup plan. Just recently completed 1 month otr training with a Mantor at swift Transportation. . I start on monday Tommrow as a solo otr driver.. proud of myself so far, it was definitely a blessing in disguise the way i look at it🙏 So glad i found your channel, i believe about 1 or 2 years ago. Always apreciate you brother for your videos are truly helpful. God bless 🙏
This right on time I was making a great salary being a structural mechanic for 4 years always wanted my cdl so I prayed and told myself I’ll have it before January of 2025 and in February 2024 I was let go for reasons I still don’t know. Losing everything from friends, family etc I hit my all time low. But remembered my prayers, stood firm and believed got in my cdl class by August 19th graduated October 15th top of my class with no restrictions I drove a 10-13 speed manual. Not to much later got my first offer a few days ago and to be a rookie driver local I’m guaranteed to make more then my pass salary. I say this to say if you guys looking forward to getting your cdls go for it don’t second guess yourself because it’s been worth the journey so far and I’m grateful. Go for it keep god first ya peace 🙏🏾
lol if you going to do it u got to treat it like it's an illegal transaction. look around for cameras, by passers, make it quick , and pretend you something else
Everyone should have access to proper restroom facilities while trucking. There is NO excuse to whereas a driver can't use a restroom anywhere. Hell some places don't even have a port a potty for proper use for drivers to use for restroom activities. Trucking is just crazy at times when basic facilities are out of reach for proper use...
As a dump truck driver, I often use the restroom when in line at the paver. However, I only do it in a wooded area with no homes nearby. I usually walk into the trees if there are some nearby, and if not I’ll go right beside the truck, but ONLY if I won’t be seen
You not lying. I got a job offer. I was scheduled for dot collection but i found a better job before the date im suppose to do it. Is it a refusal if i tell the recruiter i found a better opportunity for me and i dont want to attend the dot collection.
I would reach out to the recruiter and thank them for giving you the opportunity. Let them know you found a better opportunity for you and your family.
Very much so have I got caught pissing in the lot ., Mclanes did ., didn’t get fired but learning now quitting is far worse than getting fired seems like .. but depends on what you get fired for .. something g like that “ not rehirable “ and this story reminds me of the 4 days that i worked at coca-cola ( on a delivery bumped into a customer that took a while to recognize but once i did reminded her of who I was and made a backhanded comment about me being a job hopper ) even though i politely apologized the next day and told her why i had spit on the front door of her gas station ., she still played the “ a bunch of people come thru day in and day out “ but deep down she didn’t say that just randomly and because cola has a high turn over rate ( both believable stories but im good at reading in between the lines ) even as an autistic guy .., I still catch on later …
Actually, you can get terminated for no reason whatsoever, not even something you did. Self inflicted is different, but these days people are getting terminated for reasons that should be illegal.
@@imanthonytv In a "right to work" state or what have you, legal counsel will not likely do much. A company has the right to terminate an employee for ANY reason. If they do not have a reason, they'll create one.

If an individual gets terminated for nothing at all they need to seek legal counsel.
