I’ve wanted a nose job since I was 13 and my family joked about how my grandpa would pay for me to get a nose job when I turned 18 as a birthday gift. That’s when I started becoming insecure of my nose and I used to think why don’t I have a small nose like everyone else? Well I’m 17 now and I’m actually getting a nose piercing next year to accentuate it even more. So yeah, I LOVE MY BIG FAT NOSE 😂
@@000S1-d3h hey you’ll work through it, it’s hard to learn especially when you just want to feel confident and measure up to whatever ideals society has, but you’re so much more than your outer shell. You’re beautiful, I’m sure u know that already, but you are 💕

I've hated my nose since I was a little girl, until one day a guy told me that he really likes my nose. Now I'm older than much more comfortable with myself, but I'll always remember that moment. It made me realize that, just because you don't like a part of your body doesn't mean it's ugly, maybe some other people actually like it

I was raised NOT to use or like make-up or skin care at all, because my mom believed they would ruin my skin. Thankfully our genes are okay enough that I didn’t had to deal with acne or pimples growing up, but because I have no regard for looking presentable or pulled together, I didn’t feel pretty at all. I’m in my mid-twenties now, and still struggling with my self-image because I was never considered conventionally beautiful. I was never very interested in makeup, but now I had the will to learn and start doing makeup. But I didn't know where and how to do it! Even following a lot of tutorials I didn't feel beautiful with myself and I was charging myself to look so beautiful with delineation, with a lot of base, even my sister always corrected me and wanting me to follow a make-up style that I don't like. With her video, I was able to understand everything I need and accept myself every day a little more! I discovered her channel today and I am already loving all the videos. Thank you for the message and the incitement to use makeup as a way to enhance our unique qualities. In fact, your eyebrows are beautiful, just like you! A kiss from Brazil!
Flawless skin is what I'm aiming for, not with make-up but with skincare! 😄 For me make-up is a form of art, which I really enjoy! 🌸 The thing with eyebrows happened to me as well! One day I suddenly thought, thin eyebrows are pretty, and started to plug them, and as you said, they don't grow anymore! Now I stopped to do that. Thank you for those great tips! 😊💕
I've always been discouraged because sometimes it feels like the bar is too high for people like me because other people have been doing makeup for years and what you see on social media seems impossible to achieve, so it's a breath of fresh air for you to start out with self-love and acceptance. You have practical and positive advice, and I feel encouraged to keep learning! Makeup is a skill, and with any skill it take time and patience to learn. Anyone who's just starting should watch you video.
I love my eyelashes! :D I always heard from my family and friends that I have naturally long eyelashes. So when I usually do makeup for my eyes I only do a eyelash curler with some light mascara. To bring out the best from my lashes.
this is so random, but i also have long eyelashes! the issue is that mine the are super straight (so i always curl them too haha)... whenever i try wearing mascara it just goes flat :/ do u have a mascara u recommend since our eyelashes are similar?
I have long eyelashes too! I'm 12 and I used to get compliments about my eyelashes, now my younger brother gets the compliments because his eyelashes are longer. Not mad at him or anything, his eyelashes are pretty but now I feel left out. (I know nobody asked but just thought of sharing)
It took me a long time to figure out that each of my features - eyes, eyebrows, lashes, nose, lips, and face shape actually work together and look very harmonious on me. My wakeup call was when I saw someone who looked exactly like me but had a ton of makeup on during my high school graduation (a younger doppleganger). She was buried in makeup - her nose was contoured too much and her eyes had too much eyeshadow on. From that point forward, I realized that putting on someone else's face on mine is only going to make things worse. I should decide based on MY own facial features and makeup goals. Lovely to see that we have the same philosophy in makeup. I subscribed to you waaaay back and I feel like a proud mom lol 🤣
I love my eyes. I was kinda bothered by how hooded they were cause it made eyeliner a pain but then I noticed they were nice and big and made me look kinder so I grew to like them
This video is video is so positive! I wore a face full of makeup from 12-17 yrs old and then stopped cold turkey because I didn't feel pretty without it and realized that was bad so I gave it up. And it wasn't until I was 16 that I actually learned how to put on my makeup properly to accentuate my features, not change them. Now that I'm older and I actually love my facial features and complexion, I'm ready to play around with fun looks again. I especially enjoy lipstick and eyeliner :) I'm working with muted colors and earth tones currently. Brown mascara and eyeliner, neutral matte pink tones, etc. Makeup is therapeutic. ✨
my friends frequently compliment my eyes, saying that they love how expressive they are when i talk about things i like, although i have a natural rbf.
thank you so much for this!! it's a different way to introduce beginners to make up, not just which products to use and what makeup routines should look like. i started doing makeup when i was 14-15 and now im 17, looking back i wish i didnt cake my face everytime i put makeup on.
living in a society which tends to be bias based on appearance really put this generation to a box mindset that physical appearance is what matters the most; and that if you don't fit in the general standards of beauty pushed by social media, and the market itself, it makes you feel uncomfortable and make you less confident with yourself.. but then this pandemic has became also a wake up call to unrealistic expectations for physical appearance.. this video is my final push. I learned to love and understand my own skin instead of forcing my ideals which ended up mistreating and neglecting my skin with cosmetics that don't suit me .. Ive been binge watching your contents and I learned a lot! you're really really really pretty!
The older sister we wish we had while going through teenage years and we HAVE as we get to love ourselves more. Finally found someone who doesn't do the 'heavy routine' just to look good. Thank you and I love you ❤️

- I get bullied for having big eyes. - I have acne prone skin and they get inflamed easily, that's the reason why I have so many blemishes on my face. - My eyebrows is too straight. I used to hate all of this imperfections and it really ruins my self confidence. It took me a lot of time to accept all of this. It's a quite long rough journey, but I'm happy now. Maybe I just need to love and take care of myself more.
I want to thank you so much, you are the first person in the makeup world who has the same perspective as me. I've always been very discouraged from putting on makeup because I didn't want to put so much product on my face, I have imperfections but I really like my natural face and I feel like putting so many products hides things I didn't want to be hiding
I love your videos so much!❤️ Being a teenager who has little idea about makeup, I am grateful you posted this video😭. Besides, all your videos are so natural and they send such positive skin loving vibes.. thank you for those too!
I don't know if you will ever see this but I love that you are you when you speak. There's no fake hype, exaggerated actions and other unnecessary made up words. I hope you will never change ❤.
As someone who is trying to get into make up (I'm 15 and I still don't know how to do my own make up, I only ever own lipsticks and lip balms), I am so happy I found this video. I felt so pressured 'cause I started having an unhealthy relationship with me and my body, specially nowadays where the beauty standards are so unrealistic. I can't wait to start doing my own make up soon, I love your videos!!
I love how I look. I love the way I smile and I love the way my features makes me, me. I was around 9 years old when I started to use makeup. I wasn't good at it in the beginning and I used to much makeup (A lot foundation and concealer) and I.. picked my eyebrows to much (they've stopped growing where I picked... them. I can't find the right word). Throughout the years I've gotten better and even gotten compliments on my makeup. I don't use makeup so much anymore, but sometimes when I feel creative I pick up my "brush" and create a cool makeup look. I don't use foundation anymore, but sometimes I use concealer. Even if I have heavy makeup I usually have a "natural" base (I don't think it looks natural, but if I use makeup I think it looks good and I feel beautiful). I want to do more natural "everyday makeup", but usually I don't have the motivation to do it🤗 Today I'm 16 years old and I've learned a lot about makeup during the years and I know I will keep on learning more as I get older and as makeup trends keeps evolving.
I love my eyes. Even though I'm not very good at makeup yet, and i still struggle with getting my eyeshadow and eyeliner right, and also i have dark circles, i still love them because they're definitely my best feature.
i shouldnt rush my makeup because it is something for my self esteem, and is a part of the journey to figuring out myself. i cant rush figuring out myself no matter what i try. thanks for opening my eyes :)!
thanks for the self love advice, im still a teen i started using makeup last year but dropped it after a few months cause i would feel super insecure about myself without it . im planning to get back into it again and all your advices and tips are really great . thank you !! 🥰
THANKS for the informative content, Haley! I am relatively new to makeup and this video immediately caught my eye. You are so lovely too with ponytail. Hope you have a nice day❤️
I wish every young woman could see this video. Everything you said speaks to what I love about makeup and how it should be viewed. It can be harmful to people’s view of themselves or it can be a fun and healthy outlet for self expression and self care. Thank you for sharing these tips!
Aww this video is literally the thing that I need right now! It must be so helpful! Thank you so much haley🌟 + I really love your makeup look in this video! By any chance, can you tell me what blush did you use in this video?
I learn a lot from your videos, especially for making me loving my skin first, then appreciate the features with makeup to enhance not to hide from our truly self. Thank you so much, you did a very good videos✨🍒
Thank you so much for making this video! This is what I really need now. I also have dark eye circles even tho I always sleep before 11 p.m and always had at least 9 glasses of water each day. Then I found out that my dark circles are caused by anemia. Now I try to love my dark eye circles. Thank you for inspiring us💕💕💕
So excited you spoke about olive !! I wish I knew this when I was younger and couldn't work out why the paler shades always were the right lightness but pulled pink and peach on me.
I've used 4 products for my makeup for the last 20 years, a foundation/bb creme, lipstick, mascara & spot cover. Seeing 'beginner tutorials' using 15 different powders makes me not even want to try. I love your realistic perspective on this issue.
I'm so glad you spoke about your experience with your under eye bags and darkness. When watching your videos, I was thinking how beautiful and refreshing it was that you let them show. I'm actually a person who loves the look of some under eye bags and darkness. Because of that, I use a bit of Glossier Stretch Concealer around the edges of the bags and darkness and let it be. Sometimes I use nothing.
I looove your channel. Glad to have come across a makeup youtuber who doesn't use foundation! I didn't want to use any foundation because my skin is pretty sensitive but almost every beauty gurus out there include foundation in their routine. I also love how you teach us all to embrace our flaws by showing us yours, feels extra relatable compared to those who promote flawless skin that I can't achieve. much lovee
I LOVE MY BIG LIPS. i used to hate it when highschool, bcs its too big but then, every girl need their filler then i start to realize wow big lips gurl on rise! Lmao
I'm looking into buying face products amd this helped me a lot and gavee a lot to think about thank you for this very encouraging message about self-love.
I love my face though I have acne but and at first I was insecure about it. My best friend supported me and made me believe that beauty is not everything and she helped me a lot.
Idk but that short sun exposure animation change was so satisfying 😂😅💛 Love this!! I remember feeling so down by how foundation didn't work out for me, then I learned there's nothing wrong with that 🤦♀️

Watching hayley’s video is like a power point presentation from my favourite teacher.
To bring out the best from my lashes.
this is so random, but i also have long eyelashes! the issue is that mine the are super straight (so i always curl them too haha)... whenever i try wearing mascara it just goes flat :/ do u have a mascara u recommend since our eyelashes are similar?
same lol ive always had large eyelashes even when i was a baby haha i wear a bit of mascara too to make it prettier
I have long eyelashes too! I'm 12 and I used to get compliments about my eyelashes, now my younger brother gets the compliments because his eyelashes are longer. Not mad at him or anything, his eyelashes are pretty but now I feel left out. (I know nobody asked but just thought of sharing)
i came here bcuz im new to makeup and ended up with teary eyes. thank you for being so vulnerable and giving us a self love talk!❤
I wish I knew this when I first started! I love how positive and helpful this is
So glad to hear! At least we finally know now :)
Ahah I am your girl 🤣thank you for sharing your story!
This girl literally make my confidence higher..
*I just LOVE how you put makeup without changing your features, it's really fascinating*
SHE'S SO PRETTYYYYYY OMG
my friends frequently compliment my eyes, saying that they love how expressive they are when i talk about things i like, although i have a natural rbf.
thank you so much for this!! it's a different way to introduce beginners to make up, not just which products to use and what makeup routines should look like. i started doing makeup when i was 14-15 and now im 17, looking back i wish i didnt cake my face everytime i put makeup on.
living in a society which tends to be bias based on appearance really put this generation to a box mindset that physical appearance is what matters the most; and that if you don't fit in the general standards of beauty pushed by social media, and the market itself, it makes you feel uncomfortable and make you less confident with yourself..
but then this pandemic has became also a wake up call to unrealistic expectations for physical appearance.. this video is my final push.
Maybe I just need to love and take care of myself more.
the positivity in this video and comment section is so heartwarming
she told us not to change our original beauty. 💖
Thank you so much! You are giving me another reason for what I do
I don't know if you will ever see this but I love that you are you when you speak. There's no fake hype, exaggerated actions and other unnecessary made up words. I hope you will never change ❤.
AHHH this is exactly the type of video i need to see more of!!! its so positive and easy to understand
Love myself, love yourself. Thank you
As someone who is trying to get into make up (I'm 15 and I still don't know how to do my own make up, I only ever own lipsticks and lip balms), I am so happy I found this video.
I love the positivity in this video! I’m here to learn what makeup really is so I can do cosplay makeup
I looove my eyes, the shape of its just.. perfect!
Awww 💗
i shouldnt rush my makeup because it is something for my self esteem, and is a part of the journey to figuring out myself. i cant rush figuring out myself no matter what i try. thanks for opening my eyes :)!
i love my dimples
Haley you’re so inspirational. And I love your content. You’re awesome!💞
thanks for the self love advice, im still a teen i started using makeup last year but dropped it after a few months cause i would feel super insecure about myself without it . im planning to get back into it again and all your advices and tips are really great . thank you !! 🥰
THANKS for the informative content, Haley! I am relatively new to makeup and this video immediately caught my eye. You are so lovely too with ponytail. Hope you have a nice day❤️
Thank you Nadhila
I wish every young woman could see this video. Everything you said speaks to what I love about makeup and how it should be viewed. It can be harmful to people’s view of themselves or it can be a fun and healthy outlet for self expression and self care. Thank you for sharing these tips!
as a teen i really love this video! thank you! :)
Haley is one of my favorite soothing and calming youtubers
Also I'm starting to love my eyebags because of you Haley. Finally someone I can relate to. ❤️
Aww this video is literally the thing that I need right now! It must be so helpful! Thank you so much haley🌟
+ I really love your makeup look in this video! By any chance, can you tell me what blush did you use in this video?
So glad it was helpful! Thank you
@@HaleyKimaking Aha! Thanks :) Hope you have a great day today!
I learn a lot from your videos, especially for making me loving my skin first, then appreciate the features with makeup to enhance not to hide from our truly self. Thank you so much, you did a very good videos✨🍒
Wahh Haleyy, thank you for this video 💕
Thank you
Thank you so much for making this video! This is what I really need now. I also have dark eye circles even tho I always sleep before 11 p.m and always had at least 9 glasses of water each day. Then I found out that my dark circles are caused by anemia. Now I try to love my dark eye circles. Thank you for inspiring us💕💕💕
When she said "there is no flawless skin" but her skin IS flawless 😂
Its the ring light, those just flush out all the shadows on your face
So excited you spoke about olive !! I wish I knew this when I was younger and couldn't work out why the paler shades always were the right lightness but pulled pink and peach on me.
My first experience with make-up was when I was 3 and put my mom’s lipstick all over my face. And she scolded me because it was her most expensive one.
Lol same
I've used 4 products for my makeup for the last 20 years, a foundation/bb creme, lipstick, mascara & spot cover. Seeing 'beginner tutorials' using 15 different powders makes me not even want to try. I love your realistic perspective on this issue.
She's like the combination of Doyeon from weki meki and Sana from twice
I can see that huh
I'm so glad you spoke about your experience with your under eye bags and darkness. When watching your videos, I was thinking how beautiful and refreshing it was that you let them show. I'm actually a person who loves the look of some under eye bags and darkness. Because of that, I use a bit of Glossier Stretch Concealer around the edges of the bags and darkness and let it be. Sometimes I use nothing.
I love my eyes, both my daughters got their eyes like mine and look better on them
I like how u talk about makeup like spices they compliment flavors not cover them up.
I love my eyebrows because they are bold and bushy.
My first experience with makeup was when I was 17... And now I am 19... I learned alot during these two years!!!!
The idea of an ideal face is so toxic. Everyone is beautifull
i didnt expect it to be so wholesome and i think i might actually cry.. thank u, ur an amazing person
First viewer ❤️
Thank you for coming early!
Lmao
I'm looking into buying face products amd this helped me a lot and gavee a lot to think about thank you for this very encouraging message about self-love.
this is such a positive video.
all about self love and accepting yourself.
absolutely loving her videos for this very reason!!!
I love my face though I have acne but and at first I was insecure about it. My best friend supported me and made me believe that beauty is not everything and she helped me a lot.
This made me feel so confident. I wasn't expecting that. Thank you.
I love my eyes the mosssst~When I was like 14 I wanted to undergo double eyelid surgery since my eyelids have so many crease, but I am now loving it.
Idk but that short sun exposure animation change was so satisfying 😂😅💛 Love this!! I remember feeling so down by how foundation didn't work out for me, then I learned there's nothing wrong with that 🤦♀️
I could never explain how grateful I am to have watched THIS video FIRST before starting to learn make-up 😭 Thank u Haley!! ❤
