  • Standard definition video of my back shop tour and cab ride on the Ghost Town & Calico Railroad at Knott's Berry Farm. Both consolidation type locomotives were built by Baldwin in 1881 for the Denver & Rio Grande. Subsequently #41 became the Red Cliff for the Rio Grande Southern and #340 became the Green River for the Denver & Rio Grande Western.
A Porter locomotive and Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose #3 are also shown.

Always enjoyed Knotts Berry Farm more then other parks because of the historic theme to it. Haven't been there since I was a teen about 35 years ago I think I will visit again after covid is over.

Glad you think so! The ride in the cab was rather bumpy. The drive for the mini DV tape resulted in a bunch of artifacts from the all motion. Knott's Berry Farm is on my list of places to revisit with my 4K video camera.

Both music tracks came from the UA-cam creator studio!
