When I seen your stairway to heaven, block my mouth dropped open. I had to buy your pattern( I don't normally ever just drop and buy someone's pattern) but this one i had to have. My daughter kayla was murdered when she was 3 yrs old, and on the 11th of this month, it would have been her 33rd birthday. Your pattern not only brought a tear to my eyes but a warm smile, too. This is honestly a quilt block, I needed❤. This will be in memory of my beautiful daughter kayla. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful pattern.❤

I read your comment right before I sat down to my devotions this morning and I am praying that the Holy Spirit continues to mend your broken mother's heart as only He can. I cannot imagine going through what you have, but the Lord knows as He has suffered greatly for us. I'll be praying for you. I stumbled on to this video tonight. I subscribed to your channel and have learned so much from you. I purchased your books and am cutting up leftover fabric. I have been revising a memoir for the last few years so my quilting time competes with my writing. But this square touched me because my memoir is about the loss of my son. He died in a hiking accident on November 3, 1998. That anniversary is coming up. I will get this pattern to make this block. Stairway to heaven…wow! Thank you. I am trying to get to our quilt guild meetings in person; have been on zoom mostly. I would like to meet you.

SO beautiful Lori! Reminds me of Jacobs dream in Gen. 28. Where Jacob saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching heaven,and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. Such a soul touching tribute to the Scripture and to those who have lost loved ones. Thank you💕🧵🙏🏻
