- Motorized Kayaking on the Potomac river in this video. The river was high, and I didn't find a lot, but I had a great time and saw a scary snake.

I really love your sense of adventure and your respect for wildlife and the land.Love your commentary and lessons.Much appreciated
There are no bad Agua chig videos! Thanks for the kayak adventure - I eagerly await any out door activity, especially fun when Lindsey is with you.
LOL....1840's! The old hogast (stone sheep barn) on my land makes that young! Good vids, Sir.
I love these little river adventures with you Aquachigger, especially when you find all those civil war relics. This is the best YT channel for river treasure hunting, the Chiggers way. Cannon balls, round balls, mini balls, cold balls, the Chiggers has the lot. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more of your epic episodes of treasure hunting, on and under the rivers waters.
Peace and Good Will to you, THE Chiggers. :)
That was a life string you shared thank, you chigg ...Blessings 🙏🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🗡⚔️⚒
No lie you get the most respect out of any other youtuber this the chill life I wanna live lol 👌🏾🔥
It's really good to have some quality Beau time. Thanks.
Thank for takin us along.
I love your river runs! Thank-you!
I have been to Wyoming to some of the Fossil Quarries and the fossils you find in the shale are so beautiful. Insects, plants, turtles, gators, fish, and even a horse have been found and they are perfectly kept! Its amazing I recommend going to everyone!
Another top vid beau, when we were kids,we bolted a british seagull aux engine to a kayak, the stainless ones.we had a great time in it..we eventually took it up to scotland to fish the sea locks, anyhoo,it had vibrated against the trailer,in only one spot, metal on metal, wore a hole on it,looking back,it probs saved our lives,we were very green at the time, lol, and without life jackets, ahh the folly of youth,. ]
Great trip on the river I enjoyed it . Thank You Beau
That dam #4? Remember fishing there with my old man as a kid and standing atop that rock wall cliff! Awesome video Beau!
a nice lazy river ride...cool. yeah, about time for the Chig to get into the race . for RIVER JANITOR; I'd love a shirt. Can see it now: VOTE
CHIGG FOR
RIVER JANITOR
i enjoy the info in every video. it's like a history lesson. looks like a great day
Touching little story.
I do enjoy Aquachigger's videos. And totally agree, that he makes you feel like you are right there. I also enjoy and love how he has a heart for the wildlife and wants to keep everything safe from harm. I have the same sentiments. Thank you Beau, for making so many videos. How many have you made now? You say you will sit back and watch them someday when you are older. And I think a lot of people will be doing that too. I never even watched You Tube before, but happened to come across metal detecting when I bought a metal detector. Then metal fishing. You are very accomplished in your ability to find artifacts. And to know what everything is. You are very smart. Have a great day!
I want to go on a road trip! Yey!
are you his wife?
+Rob allen bruh
+Rob allen
No, I'm not his wife. I just want to go on a road trip! Virtually ( Via You Tube)
🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Good trip and i agree you should have your own show.
Great video mate, cheers for sharing your day out. It was a great start to my day watching your adventures over my breakfast cuppa :)

Great video as always! Thanks for sharing it with us
Mr. Chig, I too found a bird strung up by monofilament fishing line!! Nice story!!
great journey rearly enjoyed it can't wait for more boating vids 👍
Another cool and interesting video Beau . I rarely watch videos over 10-12 minutes . But I find myself watching yours all the way threw no matter the length . You know how to make um interesting man .
Hi Chigg, Thank you for having a heart for nature and documenting your adventures. It really does make us feel like we are right there. I enjoy metal detecting and you have taught me about metal fishing, which I now enjoy. You are becoming a phenomenon.. And to all the people on here who keep asking him to send you things he finds, Please Stop!. He is not the River Janitor, Nor is he Welfare.
+Aquachigger u would make a great historian teacher 😎😎😎😎
History i mean !!
Well I have certainly learned more about the American civil war from Aquachigger then I did from school, that's for sure.
+Hartleys they don't teach real history in schools! Remember the winners write the history books!
+Professor Branestawm same here!
Hi Beau, I really adore all the different types of video's you put out, each one is interesting and very unique. Thank you for all your hard work. x
I've looked for that cave to no avail as well. . Have to try in the winter! I remember seeing that nice big old looking house too, except when I looked back on google earth it looks like its not all that old. Sweet adventures, the Potomac's great!
I do quite a bit of fishing, finding discarded fishing line bothers me also. I always bring a walmart plastic shopping bag for trash, it's rare that I don't use it. As always great video!
You need to come treasure hunt in the Biloxi Back Bay that connects to the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane Katrina washed 90% of "the point" (end of the city of Biloxi peninsula) off into and across the back bay. There are also a lot of civil war relics as well as the first French settlements. So much to be discovered! 👍🏼
I love the potomac it's so beautiful. I used to kayak on it every weekend when I lived there.
Love watching you Beau, your so chilled and relaxed all the time, your river hunts are fantastic, I so wish we had rivers like your in our part of the UK. I dont think it really was a Humerus, although I found it to be humorous!! ;-)
Nice day out on the river thank you for the video. :)
Beauuuuuuuu, my dear sweet Beauuuuuuu,
Where did you gooooo?
I've searched to and fro
High and low
But my efforts are done
It seems you've run
We've had some fun
But now there's none
You've come and gone
you've sang your song
There's nothing wrong
With moving on
However, Beau, please listen
I have a small admission
I have to pay college tuition
Why am I writing this stupid little song... I have to get back to work. If only Bernie would cover my college.
a nice 22 min. of relaxing time , Thx for that. I always find your vids really relaxing and intresting.
hello! great video..Even when you don't find much It is fun just searching.
That's a beautiful story
That boat has some power
Sweet vid. I want your awesome boat thingy! 😊
thanks for the old yarns.
great vid. i do enjoy the exploring just as much as hunting.
I've been traumatized ! I was looking for scary faces under that tunnel. LOL
Greetings from South Australia everyone
thanks for teaching me not to throw my old fishing line just anywhere, because where i fish I see a ton of line, next time I go down, I'll bring a bag and get it and all the garbage, thanks for the lesson Beau.
That stuff is everywhere, it's incredible. I was out with my magnet yesterday at a place where fishing is completely useless and there were several meters of fishing line I took out. Does that stuff ever decompose? I don't think so.
+TrashureSeeker I think braided line rots? But I could be wrong, and I'm not sure others.
Shaimenator I see a lot of this plasticky line, no idea what material but it looks like it's made for eternity.
+TrashureSeeker It's mostly nylon and it will degrade from uv light after a few years.. But please take it or at least cut it into small pieces if you dont want to bring it!
nylon
awsome video and i did not realize that dam was that old
Awesome romp Chigg
If the river janitor had been doing his job that bird wouldn't have even found that fishing line that killed it... ;)
Power plant and boat ramp on West Virginia side, makes that Dam 4 on the Potomac. I live 3 mins from the dam. Would be very interested in finding some river treasure sometime. Big fish just south of that dam.
I agree the trash on tv is terrible.i find myself watchin UA-cam more and more.beau you should have your videos on tv.
Welcome here in Finland, you make good and Interesting Videos
Enjoyed the video
And guess what, my dad when he was working found a round ball or known as a musket ball on the ground just barely enough showing to see! He gave it to me because I love old stuff and stuff around the war period but it was one of the big round balls
I love your videos chig you make me want to get out and live life 👍🏼
as usual, a great video with some bonus history of the area :)
Your an insperation, Im 14 and your videos inspired me to go explore and try to find things i have a cheap metal detector but i also do that and i found a 1980 coin in my back garden
Cool vid, Chigg! That boat definitely makes River-Ratting as we call it here, easier huh? So what mods did ya do to it? I noticed the electric start. Have ya put on a neutral idle 'gear' yet? Hey, wanna say thanks for the advice on looking for a used Mokai. I brain-farted and totally forgot about that route, LOL! The price new isn't really bad ($5400) but I think right now, used is the way to go fo me. I am gonna check out a local ATV shop this week who is advertising they have 3 use ones in stock. (I just found out too that Makai's mfg. plant is right here in NY (Newberg, about 3 hr ride away). I plan on having one by the end of the month. It will really make exploring & etecting the Oswego River a lot easier than a regular paddle kayak. Wife actually is in agreement, but for different reasons (she is concerned about me being out on the river with only a paddle ,esp. after the heart-attack I had back over the winter). Anyway.....can u explain more about that tunnel? If I heard u right, u said it went under the canal? How does that 'work'???? Yo are lucky to have such a beautiful river to explore. Hope to see the next vid soon.
great video thanx for uploading
Made me think of Ball's Bluff and the Island in the middle of the river there. Probably searched out. Still a good bet, maybe?
I enjoyed the video and love the insight.
was that the haunted tunnel ? ROAD TRIP !!!!
Just stumbled on channel. Really enjoy it
Great video Chigger
You're 70 years old ? I'm glad you're not acting your age. You've still got the excitement that Nugget's got. Btw, come explore James River in Richmond.
Saw a monster musky at one of the spots you were at in this video!
Enjoyed the video!
I enjoy your video they are so all some
I'm in Huntington, WV. Have you ever considered Blennerhassett Island on the western side of the state? Or even the Huntington/Guyandotte/Barboursville area? Lots of history around here if you ever get the chance. Happy hunting!
I've started watching your videos a few months ago I really enjoy them and the history lessons lol what do you for a living when not digging?
If you ever get the chance you need to get out here to Montana, lots of old ghost towns..
Thanks for yet another great video!. And to the rest of y'all: Reconsider your everyday use of plastics please. Thank you..
I hate seeing all that trash, but your right about the aluminum cans disintegrating fairly quickly. I dug up a couple of beer cans a few days ago, that were probably from the 60's or 70's, and there wasn't much left of them. "The king of beers", dont remember how to spell it, but it's something like "Shaffaer"?! Continue to enjoy the videos. I read someone's comment that said that you were 70 years old! Really?! If so, you look great!!!
we got around 15 inches of rain here today alone here in Kentucky
Great video!!
I biked the whole c&o canal and it is very interesting
Love ur vids man they are awesome and interesting
Great video ☺
I'm going to find some stuff today. I'm BANKING on it. Birds were peeling frayed ends of our tarp off for nests.
Awesome video Chigg! If You and your wife take a road Trip through Morehead city N.C. Stop by & say hi 😀have to be very careful on the river. Big old trees that fall in the river are under the water and all of a sudden it will shoot straight up bout 15 or 20 ft in the air there will be nothing left of your boat so be careful
Why does it shoot up?
In your River treasure videos what rivers do you go to and what kind of rivers do you go to?
I've been sub for awhile now and never ever commented on a video so anyways love you content and keep up the good work also really educational😎
Theres spot i go to at least once a week on ko' olau property in hawaii and every rock there has fossils in it, pretty cool.
That's my fishing spot Dam 4.
People joke about me being the fishing spot police because I always clean up the line laying around. But next time I think I might tell them your story to make them think a little more.
Smeagol is not the river janitor precious!
Awesome vids! keep it up
Chig, we are all river janitors.....
I have picked up a lot of fishing line in the lake. I always have been in the same mind set as you regarding fishing line.
Wendy
Cornelius North Carolina
Lake Norman
Have you ever gotten down in the tidewater area of Virginia? I mentioned it in one of the comments previously, but got no response regarding the church I worked on that was next to a civil war staging area according to one of the locals. If interested I can look that up for you.
Have a tunnel just like that in Cockeysville
you keep the birds away from bullets and cannonballs
Yay road trip. Are we there yet?
visit uncle Festus lmao, keep it up @Aquachigger !!
Is the key you're looking for by any chance the key to Lincoln's tomb that was thrown into the Potomac after it was built?
so what happens when you step on a snapping turtle and what is your approach to areas that have alot of logs backing up water in spots were you know there are goodies
You are very sweet to keep your wife in mind when you go off hunting. Guess she gave you what for in the past!
Which video you you talk about the fish weir? I'd love to hear more about them!
Where is the video with the awsome catfish? Or did i just missed it?
I would be totally freaked out by that (human) bone.
