Two Suns In The Sunset is one of the best Floyd songs. The line "ashes and diamonds, foe and friend, we were all equal in the end" still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

You either lover Rog or hate him. Personally I love him! He's not afraid to speak his mind on the issues that spark people. People have to remember. Every aspect of media speaks their point of view that they shove down our throats every day trying to convincing us that their view is the right view! It's up to each one of us to decide what is right and what is wrong! If you don't like the message then look elsewhere!!!
I get your point, however I am at least one person who neither love nor hate Roger Waters. He is a towering cultural icon, a great lyricist, an outstanding peace activist and I like and agree with almost everything he says. However his intransigence over Roger Waters == Pink Floyd, and the fact that he has had so many failed relationships, paints a somewhat different picture of him as a person, as opposed to a rock star or cultural icon. FWIW, in my book the world is a better place because Roger Waters exists in it. But he's no saint ... (and I'm sure he'd be the first to agree).
@@JohnWilliamsFromBluff I have to be honest. I have yet to meet a saint. I have found everyone I have known to be a "me" person. @@TomCaseyTroy Agree, but Roger being passionate about his beliefs is an important part of the public character he has constructed. No matter what he says I believe he (most importantly) is a man of peace (and a heck of a musician and the soul of Pink Floyd)
He can probably take credit for shaping the mind of this older guy when I came to love his lyrics in 1980. I still have 'The Wall' in my car cd changer. He is the vocalist of Floyd for me.
Top man Roger, someone who truly cares about humanity , whatever their colour , religion or culture , just wish our corrupt leaders all over the world was more like him , peace & love to everyone and let's save our beautiful planet.
Save the planet how? Do you own a cell phone? It’s made of plastic and metals that come from the ground. EVERYTHING comes from the ground. We humans also don’t really control temperature. That is mainly based on sun activity. We have had heatwaves and we have had ice ages before man stood on the ground. We do have climate change and it’s called Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. The planets temperature and climate will always change wether we are here or not. Don’t believe all the BS you hear. These people are getting rich off the climate change nonsense.
Whether or not you agree with his political views or not, he really knows how to create a great concert, while getting his point across in an entertaining and literally awe-inspiring way. Thank you for contributing to the rising of humanity Roger. YOU hit the nail on the head. Thank you! Thank you for caring about humanity and being the change you wish to see in the world!

I really hope (against hope) that Roger sees this. Roger, you've captured how so many of us feel - you always have - and what I've seen on UA-cam looks and sounds incredible. Please bring this to Europe and the UK next year - the real deal, not just Hyde Park - and we'll see you in The Bar!
It's good that Jim and Roger reconnect - Jim is all over the Radio KAOS album and wish they had filmed a concert film back in the 80s, and songs like "The Powers That Be" are still relevant.
Roger is so eloquent and gracious and he looks so damn good. The show was fantastic and I savored being there. He seems young and vital and appears to be able to tour again. What I would have given to shake his hand.
Thank you, Roger Waters.
"Eloquent and gracious"? I don't think you get out too much
His main thing is hatred towards ethnic Jewish people. I guess if you're upset you can't meet Hitler, he's the next closest thing. 🤷

Roger you are amazing and have given us a catalogue of music that will continue to reverberate around the world of or many years to come allowing new generation s to experience yourself and together with pink Floyd
This dude has changed so many lives. Peace and love to Roger
Just attended the Milwaukee performance and it was amazing...Best event I have ever attended....I dont agree with all his views but hes correct about caring and expressing his views...But that show was top notch world class legendary
I'd love to hear more of Rogers solo stuff and cut some of the old Pink floyd classics
Amused to Death Complete, PLEASE!!
Roger's past solo stuff, Radio Kaos & my personal favourite Pro's & Con's of Hitchhiking, Absolutely fantastic. Just listening to this the guy who's interviewing Roger funny enough sound's a bit like the guy who talk's on the radio on Radio Kaos. ( I wonder).
Jim Ladd was the voice on Kaos. Love Pros and Cons!!!
rogers shows are always top tier he wears his belief with pride and conviction i admire that
i truly love roger makes the punk posers seem pretty sad now doesnt he still giving it go roger.
rogers intelligence is far above mine,...and above most fans in my opinion,.....i appreciate all of his views, and i have always liked his music,.....and from what i have seen this tour is impressive in its presentation.
Such a great interview...Kudos Jim Kerr...!
Yes, thank you so much. I was in Boarding school in the early seventies I walked into the student's lounge to sounds that changed me forever
I’m taking my 17 year old to see his show in Vegas this October. Cannot wait!
Thanks for coming to the UK!
Jim Kerr… your voice is so baked into my consciousness, all those PLJ years, I miss (real) radio so much! So good to see your face while the words are coming out.
Funny, when I heard this his voice reminded me of Jim Ladd the DJ who Rog used on Radio KAOS. Made me want to listen to the album again. I'm so happy he's playing a track from it on TINAD...
@@roadiethegamecat4124 You’re exactly right. There’s a similar dj style and voice there. The Radio Kaos tour, the first time I saw it, alone for god’s sake, can you believe? It was sick how effective it was. When the lights went out. I will never ever ever forget it.
I never used to think much of Roger Waters, today I am in awe of Mr. Roger Waters and his incredible insight and wisdom, and the power to try and change thing's.
He is by all sense of the word a great man.
Thank you for your humanity brother!
Basically, you became a fan of Roger Waters after you realized he was into antisemitism and so you had there an instant connection.

Thank you Roger. You are able to tap into the truth for millions of people around the world on, what always felt like, a uniquely personal level. That is one of your gifts and I am grateful to have received it. God bless you brother.
I have been holding a ticket for Roger's next show in Denver in September since before the pandemic. It is a nosebleed seat but was the best I could afford. I haven't missed a Denver show in his last four stops here. Can't wait to see him again.
Kansas city September 3rd!
How'd the show go in Pitt??? Has anyone gone ? Please report
Hey. The show was amazing. Couldn’t be better
Is that show host the one who appears at the beginning and end of Radio Waves?
Yes it is Lee 👍
Ready to see them in Raleigh. Seen him there during the wall tour. If you are a fan and have not seen them, need to go if any way possible. Time is getting short.
I really hope roger tours Australia again soon 😁
I have loved your music for 50 years but you are hard work !
Great radio voice, pure classic
reminds me of Jim Ladd
Sounds a lot like the radio kaos voice!!
@@MarkBrydondrums85 Exactly my thought. :D
I love Roger. One of the best musicians ever. I Just wish him, and Gilmore could put their differences aside and make Floyd what it once was. No matter, Love Waters. i HOPE YOU COME TO CLEVELAND SOON..

Can't Richard passed....
No Floyd without Rick
@@bobbaganush1 They put the name 'Pink Floyd' on the Ukraine single.
Richard Wright is dead so it can never be what it once was and Waters is continually sniping about lyrics written by Gilmour's wife and complaining that they don't put his stuff on the PINK FLOYD website.Get over it Roger, you LOST the court case and lost the right to be part of PINK FLOYD as a result.
Great Interview, Jim. Roger, stellar as always...
What a phenomenal radio voice that guy has. Oh, and Roger aint so shabby either. :)
Saw the Pittsburgh show, it was awesome!
Thanks Roger.
This is why I have always loved the pink floyd lyrics.
I personally do what I can to educate people isf the opportunity presents itself.

Here after is event in Quebec city. What a fantastic show thank you Roger.
He seems so happy ! I can't wait to see the show
Saw Roger/This is Not a Drill in October at the Tacoma Dome, Washington… PHENOMENAL 🤯🤯🤯 SHOW!!! I came out of the show not quite the same as when I went in. And have to mention… I grew up listening to Jim Ladd during my formative Rock n Roll years in SoCAL on KLOS and KMET… GREATEST R n’ R DJ ever! Shine on you crazy diamonds 💎💎
The show is amazing! Stunning. I was really moved. True pro!

Legend! I hope he tours in Argentina, would love to see him live.
Roger, you have a beautiful voice, a great singer, one of the very best songwriters and composers I have ever heard. I hope you come to Dublin, Ireland again. I go to your concerts every time you play here.
You see through the BS better than absolutely every other artist I know.
You are honest and fearless of speaking the truth. I am grateful that at least one, just one of my favourite artists from my last 45 years has remained honest.
The last song from the last real Pink Floyd album Two Suns In The Sunset" is a prophetic masterpiece.

In other words everyone seems to have their own goal or agenda and will do anything to achieve that no matter the cost. I learned quite a bit during corona about true human behavior. I'm only calling it like I see it. Even people that call themselves liberals had very little compassion of the blue collared class during the coronavirus. Very sad society we truly live in.
pink floyd icon yes. but hard to hem and haw your way around being a richer than God socialist. too many of them these days.
@@kevhead1525 On the other hand when you tell part of your audience to "fuck off" before you even start the show, it might mean you aren't really in it for the money anymore.

Great interview
Quite easily the most important recording artist on stage today.
@Roger87 But yes he is and the sales figures from his tours will confirm that for you.
@Roger87 I'm not up for leading your education. You can find out for yourself. Easily.
One of the rare people in the public eye who still has a spine …
Prepping for the 36th Wall tour? Been playing the same songs and using the same stage sets for 40 years.
So happy for Roger and the fans of his music! Great artist & humanitarian.

"Appalling cretinous leaders..." One of the best quotes ever.
We need to approach with maturity, we are grownups after all.
There is one simple goal we must pursue to resolve all of our issues, so simple.
No person or entity can keep more than they need, until every person has everything they need.
Then you can pursue your wants super achievers, become adults about this.
Pink Floyd the Epitome of music..☮️👊🎼

Looking forward to seeing you at the Tacoma dome!
Saw Roger in Pittsburgh. Best concert I have been to since his “Us + Them” tour. He recited his intro to the song “The Bar” and it was well received. We were all part of a community of like minded people. It felt good to belong in a community of one. I love his politics.
My only problem with Roger, is if you disagree he thinks you are a drunken fool. That’s not what we need in this country or world for that matter.
at the show last night in Toronto at the pub mate lol 😆 amused to death good album guitar Jeff beck ...rock on Roger ....my mate
@@TomCaseyTroy Roger is very strong minded and believes in himself, he is more than qualified to state his opinions, especially to the uneducated masses. Agree or disagree we can all learn from him
@@aakar88 I’m more than certain that he is knowledgeable about what he’s talking about. But he does assume that people who do not agree with him are just drunkard fools as opposed to being just as educated on the issues but disagree, which is more than likely in many instances the case.
@@TomCaseyTroy Agree, but Roger being passionate about his beliefs is an important part of the public character he has constructed. No matter what he says I believe he (most importantly) is a man of peace (and a heck of a musician and the soul of Pink Floyd)
Roger is a genius 👍
He can probably take credit for shaping the mind of this older guy when I came to love his lyrics in 1980. I still have 'The Wall' in my car cd changer.
He is the vocalist of Floyd for me.
Ewe.. really... he is the voice of Floyd to you?

Thank you Roger. Love from.Wales.
I saw his 2022 tour and it was the most effect-filled concert I’ve ever seen. It’s like a concert and a live show in one.
I cant wait to see him in Milwaukee.
