Great review. I just got a set of DT-700s.
I'm using headphones in the area of $ 220.00 and the reason I went for them is the interchangeable cables. I have 2 straight cables (different lengths) and 1 coiled cable, which is perfect for me because I do have different applications where each one is preferable for a particular application. And for me, the screw-on adapter is a requirement (for the reasons TTK mentioned). Thank you for the great review!!
Should've gone into more detail about the way they sound. Soundstage, imaging, timbre, tonality, frequency response, etc.

Why are the ohms so important? You mentioned that these were 48 the normal headphones that I've been looking at our between 30 and 35 homes. So what's so important what's the ohms?
