I know what most of us are expecting from Skrillex, but you can't deny that he's really a talented producer because of times like this.
Hotra his tools of the trade say it all really, the guy has a huge collection of VSTs and synths that he's used to make his songs, that's why he's always stood out so much

When this song first came out, I was just getting into edm, and I only liked the more popular dubstep. I was literally in the first thousand people to hear this song, and I didn’t like it. I returned to it around five months later, and from that point on, this has been my favorite skrillex song.

SoldierSZ i think that just because a certain genre has very characteristic qualities, like in this case with future bass' sharp chords or watery percussions makes it a bad genre. And this genre is relatively new, meaning that there's still a lot of room to experiment with. You saying that you dont like the genre is ok, but saying that it is shit and all the songs sound the same is pretty stupid.
Don't get me wrong, I love future bass, dubstep, riddim etc. Its just this song isn't... Skrillex.

Skrillex saves the day again... from all the tracks out of REWORKS this is my absolute favorite. I HATE future bass, but Skrillex makes it golden. All of the other tracks from the album are not that great, just not as good as the originals and thus dont make me excited too much, but this... this keeps the great vocal, the amazing melody and it brings in all of its amazing new stuff. Skrillex truly is one of the GOAT....

i'm very late to give comment on this track but this is the new skrillex style. new & fresh future bass. new skrillex (future bass) is unique. sometimes it has reggae mix or moombahton. instead of using common future bass synth he use vocal chops and it's awesome and unique and original. and skrillex future bass is groovy and bouncy. love this new skrillex

You know what, contrary to my first opinion, I kinda like it. Really diggin the reggae vibes, and it definitely brings a new perspective to the original track.
But personally, (and I hate to be one of THOSE people, but) no remix will ever beat the original. Except the Madeon remix. That remix is a gift sent from the heavens.
