Question, I received some flannel charm squares and made a quilt top that finished 60x80. Obviously you don’t wash Precuts but now that the top Is put together should I stay stitch the edges and wash and dry it before quilting it? Like you I am not using batting but will be using a light weight 100% cotton denim as the backing. ( I will prewash this )

what kind of marker did you use for this runner?
Technically only using a backing means its not actually a quilt but a coverlet. A tied "quilt" is actually a comforter.
