Man !!!! I remember Doug working with a towing company, then working beside Jared, then qualifying as a diver. Step-by-step he has been choosing a new direction for his life and following a new passion. IT’s been an amazing journey to observe. He is making a profound difference with his dedication to this direction in his life. And what an amazing example he is setting for his daughters... they are seeing their father make powerful choices for humanity, and that is the role-modeling that will direct them in their lives. Bravo, Doug !!! Such respect for you. . . . .
@@thoughtsfromathenasreality You could certainly learn some things from Doug. For instance, he's on here trying to help families find their loved ones. You're on here to criticize him for something absolutely silly. He's admirable. You're childish. Grow up.
Doug I could see the effect this had on you. I got something in my eye watching. You are a stronger man than me. Take care of yourselves please. People need you but they need you healthy. This has to be so rewarding but I know it affects you all too. 🙏👍🏻
I've only cried during a couple of these but as a father of a son, this one hit. Seeing the dad shaking with adrenaline while helping yall remove your gear, knowing his son was directly below him! man this one hit hard
@@jaydie. ah gotcha. Either way to see such careless acts, a pylon through the engine block, knowing you can't immediately recover and he's right there 20 feet down! That pain, I could feel it through the video
Doug’s face after finding someone always makes me cry. I can’t imagine the emotional toll this has on the team. Proud of Doug for taking over leadership of these cases and just want to let him know what a great job he’s doing!
Yes I'm watching from🇵🇭..and I can't imagine why other diver's can't find the car..why is Dough and his team diver's easily found the missing SUV car of Jimmy 😔God bless the soul of Jimmy 😇
I agree! I love Doug. First of all, he is authentic. When he finds the right car his face says it all. He feels the pain of finding answers for the family…which is in fact, healing. I think you have to feel the emotions in order to get in the head of the lost family members. You do great work, Doug!
I'm so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences. No matter how long it's been, it still matters because you loved and love them still. I hope she's resting well, and has been watching over you with much love.
I can’t believe they just drilled the pylon into the engine! Didn’t they notice something was different compared to drilling the rest of them in? Jared, you must be so proud of Doug. He’s learned so much from you! Doug, I admire your attention to detail, how clearly you explain everything, your confidence, and your optimism. Thank you to everyone involved. You all go above and beyond for these families! This is why I keep recommending the safety tools to friends and family, donating, being a member, and buying the merchandise.
Literally, just a dude in a dingy with an expensive fish finder. It's not rocket science. And you should actually be mad that the government takes all the taxes from you that they do, and can't even be bothered to go around like these guys and just take a look. Like a federal cold case dive team, or even local. Like each sheriffs department couldn't share/loan out one of these fish finders? Wtf is up with that.
That really pisses me off you know I say all the time you can't fix stupid people they had to notice something was different and most of the time when you put a pylon in you have to have a diver it's like they just didn't give a crap
Unbelievable that the construction workers never went under water. No surveying done other than on paper. That's just crazy. Has to be one of the most gut wrenching, traumatic discoveries for everyone involved. Tragic beyond words. My heart goes out to his family and all those involved in the search for 20yrs xxxx
I've worked in a land survey office, they have this thing they call a no misclose. Basically it means you can't have any missing angles in a drawing, no possibility of any missing information on land surveys. I was also a boating person for much of my life. It makes me angry to think that the same standards of land surveys are not applied to new developments next to or in the water. So much unnecessary suffering. Hopefully these situations lead to real changes in regulations for all countries. Then his life will have made a real difference. RIP Jimmy. 🙏
I was just looking at a case in Florida yesterday, Howard Vaughn Gratteau from 1986... Similar circumstances to this, and there's two large retention ponds on the route he would've taken. Big sections of those ponds have been buried and built over since that time, makes me wonder if he could be under all that.
I guess it went like "we found a car submerged, what we should do?" "boss: if we call the police, crime scene team will show up and will totally mess our schedule up, we will loose money, just put the pylon right cross through it, it is gonna be fine".. Someone got some explaning to do. 😖
@@AnitaSouthall Do you have any idea what it would have cost even 15 years ago to try to survey the bottom of a river with 1-foot visibility? I think you folks see the technology now and think off-the-shelf consumer sonar was always like it is today. I am a fan of this channel, but people are starting to get very unreasonable about the lengths the rest of society should go to, and the incredible costs private individuals should have to incur, to account for something so freakishly rare. A more reasonable response is that a PRIVATE movement should begin, supported by public reward incentives. Motivate boaters who already have these imaging tools to survey coastal and riparian areas as they move through our waters. These would eventually identify these one-in-a-million situations long before they could happen going forward. If local governments offered $100-1,000 rewards for reporting the locations of strange underwater structures and items, this might never happen again. Going a step further, someone could follow in Google Earth's footsteps and develop a surveying system/ protocol to record GPS signals and underwater sonar data**. The end result would be huge, always "live" or current surveys of these areas. They could be compiled at minimal real additional cost after the protocol is developed. ** Get the effort started and Google would probably buy it off you ;-)
I immediately started crying as soon as you discovered the piling through the engine, and saw the pain in everyone’s face. You all are truly a blessing.
Angela of American Woman Nails and B-- Amen, to that... I Agree. 😢 I immediately Started Crying, too after Seeing the Part, where Doug & Anthony Suited up, Dove down to the Vehicle, at "Stinger's Waterfront", and once Doug & Anthony Found & Pulled, the License Plate, off the Vehicle: "FLA~4785".. That WAS Sad, that Doug & Anthony FOUND Jimmy, but Yet, Gave Confirmation, to Wesley, Confirming, that THIS IS their Target!! That was "My Crying Moment".. I used to live literally directly across the street from the Amabile family, and vividly remember when James came up missing and was obviously heart broken for the family. Fast forward and NEVER would I ever think in my wildest dreams that my literal real-life heroes AWP as well as Chaos Divers would not locate him, but bring him home. You are all forever in my prayers and there is no words to express my gratitude and sincere thank you for what you as well as like I said , Chaos Divers, Exploring with Nug, Depths of History, Adam Brown Adventures, and the many other that you have inspired to get out there and just look (including myself). You are all ALWAYS in my prayers and I again could never thank you enough for helping me giving me a purpose and getting me sober after a 20+ long opiate addiction. Love you guys and forced for all of your backs and you are ALL forever in my prayers. I sincerely appreciate you and humbly thank you again. The Amabile's are a great family and can finally have closure.
31:05 Amazing how after hearing the worst possible news that Steven's immediate instinct was to help the dive crew get safely out of the water. If he couldn't help his brother - he was damn well sure going to help those who helped to find his brother. Inspiring by all of you. 👍👍 RIP Jimmy 🙏🙏
Yes I totally agree. That part stuck out alot to me with how he wanted to help and did! This poor family I'm so glad they got the closure they deserved long ago!!! His girls must know that their dad loved them more than words can probably explain and now they get to lay him to rest.
Would be awesome if THAT pylon was turned into a Memorial post! And laws put into place that pylons can’t be drilled in without FIRST radar/sonar scans are done confirming it’s suitable to move forward!
This was by far the hardest case I’ve been a part of. The amount of work it took for this recovery was overwhelming. This was a community effort between law-enforcement firefighters, crane company, and even the county workers who help cleaned up the mess afterwards. Also thanks to Wesley and his boys for all there hard work on the surface supporting Doug and I while we dove. The family’s strength and involvement was inspiring to see and witness. I would also like to send my condolences to the family. I’ve gotten to know them over the many days this took. I will always have a place in my hear for Jimmy and his family. RIP jimmy. You are missed and loved by many! 🙏❤️
Doug, the look of shock, disbelief, heartbreak and anger was so evident in your face when you came up from this dive. When you are doing so much to help others and realize just how ignorant and careless others have been, it is just unconscionable. I'm sending prayers your way and hope they help you deal with this terrible discovery. You are an amazing person to do this stressful work.
@@hardcorehunter9438 If you, a normal person, find a car underwater, are you just going to go "oh hey" and then not report it? Not even that, but then *drill through the car* without a thought? I don't know how in the world they didn't notice something was unusual when they drilled the pylon in there. If they'd seen it was a car (which they certainly could have) it's just plain negligence to not report that to the police. My first thought at finding a car underwater would be wondering if there's a body in it. That's common sense.
@@emily-rainbeetle7856 With the equipment and machinery we have this day and age, that’s not being done by hand, it wasn’t some John Smith drilling it in with his brute strength, it’s most likely a very power and very large machine doing it.
@@emily-rainbeetle7856 how many times on this show has local law enforcement known damn well there were vehicles, even stating “oh, we have tons of vehicles in that river/lake”, and done nothing. How do we know they didn’t report it, maybe they did. Many of these local LEA don’t have the budgets or man power or DGAF enough to pull every auto, hence why AWP is doing what they do. So, if the LE aren’t doing it, how is it a construction companies responsibility to do anything more than note it on their report and tell the sheriff? I guess what I’m trying to convey, the frustration is pointed at the wrong people… it's not the fault of a construction crew, the LEA that can't/won't do more with autos under the water & missing people cases blows my mind. Pulling them is expensive, sure, but sending out a dive team to at least identify the autos and check them off would be something.
@@thankyouforincorrectingme Considering the company asked for a ridiculous amount of money to help remove the car after it was found, I'm gonna go with them being at the very least being a uncaring corporate entity. If you wanna sit here and feel bad for them instead of the family that had a missing family member for all those years, then by all means you feel that way.
Having type 1 diabetes and hearing Doug explain a low blood sugar and the state of being drunk and confused was just spot on. Sometimes I'll wake up late for work and have that adrenaline rush to get to work that I won't even check my sugars. Luckily, I have a Dexcom that gives me alarms on my blood sugars and tracks them, which has changed how diabetics live 19 years later. It's incredible how tech changes. But waking up with a low and not even noticing and then driving is the scariest feeling because of that state of confusion. It's scary how type 1 diabetes can change how some people live life.
The contractors didn't check the spot to see if anything was there before drilling the pylon . That's awful. James Amabile rest in peace. My condolences for the family and friends ❤
I understand but before watching this show...many of us would not even consider scanning underwater...So yes I see your point but casting blame is not the answer either.....it really was unfortunate...
Being disoriented is serious and in this situation very sad he never made it to his babies never made it home to his wife. I believe you're spot on with how and why he passed away.
Your passion and attention to detail is to be commended. I’ve been in law enforcement for 23+ years and your investigative skills are outstanding. Unfortunately, most law enforcement agencies and fire departments don’t have the capabilities to search the water the way that you and your team can. You’re doing a great service to humanity my friend. God bless!!

I’m as shocked as everyone else is that they drove a pylon through an engine without noticing. Thank you so much Doug and all the volunteers who went out to look for this man.
I like that you put pictures in the intro of the people you have recovered and returned to the family. They arent forgotten and as long as your videos are available, so is their story.
I can't even imagine the toll this must take on the team. You guys are angels here on earth helping these families find closure about their loved ones. Please don't forget to take care yourselves not only physically but emotionally too. Thank you for all that you do....
The look on your face Doug, says it all. I could see the look of anger and disbelief. I feel it's always so very sad when you find a car you're looking for because if they are still missing, then there is still hope? But now the family have their answers, thanks to you all. What a great job you are all doing. So much respect for you all.
I’ve always thought about the spirits of these poor people that you find underwater. The thought of them sitting there for years waiting for someone to finally find them is extremely depressing. And I could just imagine them saying thank you to you guys for finally finding them after all those years
I always think about their spirits while watching these videos aswell. I actually flat lined in my early twenties & got to see, feel & survive death so I know for a fact that theres an after life & from what I experienced, the second you die your spirit leaves the body & you feel absolutely nothing but peace & lightness, every single emotion or feeling you felt in your life, in your body, remains with you body... but at the same time you also remain cognitive, like you can still see, hear & sense what's happening in the physical world. So I personally think in regards to the victims in these videos, I believe their spirits would probably sustain some level of connection to their physical bodies until they are officially laid to rest. But one thing I know for sure is that they are no longer suffering in any way, shape or form & that's the most important thing.🤗💯
@@canadianqueenbee845 Hello from Wisconsin my name is KELLY I'm 62 and I would just like to thank you. I to had the same experience when I gave birth to my last child. What I find amazing is you take a missing person's case of years to decades and find it in a day or two (not including the prep work). It's awesome. And it's one those things where I ask, "Why wasn't this done before?"
I cry every time you guys find someone. I'm a diabetic myself, and this terrifies me! Poor Jimmy. 😢 Thank you, Doug, for being so thorough in the search, and for bringing some closure to Jimmy's family and friends. I am so glad that there are people out there who are actively involved in searching for missing people and trying to bring them home to their loved ones. (hugs all of the crew) This can't be easy on you all, but you are doing something incredible. Remember to take time for yourselves and stay safe!
Doug, you handle these cases so professionally, I am amazed. From the moment you said SUV, everybody (even not divers) just wanted to jump into the water, they were so excited. Kudos to you, you took the time to go to the family, explain everything that did and will happen, you explained everything to us and your team, even if you were over excited too. I could see your mind and heart racing, but you kept it together to make it as easier and possibly smoother for the family. Excellent job. And of course the whole team, congrats, but Doug, you stole this episode with your intelligence.
It’s shocking to me that the local authorities didn’t check the entire river in that area. He literally disappeared less than 5 minutes from the babysitters…. Condolences to this family. I’m so glad you could help solve this horrible mystery and lay this man to rest. You are angels ❤️
well I mean, when there's no clear accident that took place & no damage along the edge of the road going toward the water it wouldn't really be an obvious option to arrive at, remember everything seems obvious in hindsight but when you're coming into it completely blind & all you have is a man that just disappeared off the earth theres a million things that COULD have happened, & you have to think to that the fact he left without his phone& wallet & other items is also somewhat suspicious in that it could easily mislead police into seeing it as more of a foul play scenario, but in general there's just no reason this would seem anymore likely than any other possibility when youre truly coming into it blind like that it likely might not even be on the radar at all when there was no clear signs of an accident taking place
The technology for searching 19 years ago is not what it is now. Who knows how many bodies have been missed by authorities over the years . At least some of them are now being found . In years to come , no doubt some of todays searches will found to have missed targets.
@@ar4203 I have to disagree. Also, if God forbid a loved one went missing and I was for sure it happened within such a short distance, I'd leave no stone unturned and consider ALL possibilities. What is the craziest to me is how a company built a dock THROUGH his car!!!
So many have placed the blame on others no, perhaps it's not rocket science or perhaps the. sheriff's Department we're too greedy as many here are saying,. or why didn't the men who were drilling for the pylon notice something odd,? Do you have any idea how often something is hit when drilling,? If they stopped each time they'd Still be drilling today,.
I just have to say that the attention you all pay to every little detail about the missing person is EVERYTHING and shows how dedicated you are. Bless all of your hearts forever. Thank you for what you do.
Omgosh...tears 😭 seriously...the way Jimmy's brother reacted, and the way he acted like a brother to AWP divers, assisting them out of the water. The looks on everyone's faces...the shock, disbelief, and even frustration that something like this could happen, that he was pegged in place by the pylon. I'm so so sorry 😔😐🤦🏻♀️ everyone is just SO shocked at the incompetence of those who placed the pylon. Speechless 😶 this man should have been found sooner, had they only done a sonar of the bed before placing the pylons to clear any possible debris or anything that could interfere. It really is just unbelievable that they did this, and I understand they may have had a work schedule, deadline, budget, etc. But THIS...THIS HERE IS UNETHICAL. They did not even stop to see if someone was in there! So they would have had to stop and call in law enforcement. Shame on them! I hope someone is NEVER so careless about something regarding their property or family members. 😢😐 This is just so very frustrating!
If the bed is rock of any kind, the company driving pylons may not have noticed. Going thru the car wouldn't have caused a noticeable difference bc those machines can cut like a hot knife in butter. They don't all have sonar and dive teams checking either. So, it's easy to be upset but I've seen these machines work, they never noticed.
The anger I feel for that family - knowing they could’ve had answers sooner if only someone had actually surveyed the ground before installing that pylon. Heartbreaking and my prayers are with them ❤️

As a type one diabetic of 50 years I know that a rush of panic and adrenaline will raise your blood sugar quicker than a can of red bull. He could well have been having a hypo and not realised. Diabetes is a very complex disease.
As one myself and a registered nurse that’s not a medical fact . If so he wouldn’t have been hypo according to your theory . Another medical fact is a large majority of diabetics don’t feel any symptoms of hyper or hypo. Fortunately I do and a safe reading I’m symptomatic as normal as 110 and about 200 if hyperglycemic . In my line of work I’d be dead if adrenaline caused blood sugar spikes . Physical activity lowers blood sugar . Most adrenaline rush one is physical active . Infections fevers can significantly raise blood sugar but not adrenaline. Adrenaline is correlated with cortisol from the adrenal glands not insulin .
What surprised me is hearing the numerous “rescues “ he needed from low blood sugar. I always carry oral glucose and glucagon injection . Sad the rush to get his kids he probably assumed he wouldn’t need anything for a short trip 😞
Not a diabetic, but I have some family members who are. Didn't these older pumps not actually check your sugar but instead just released a shot of insulin every now and then on a timer? He could have been low, but not critically so, but then the pump gave him a shot while he was driving.
@@WardenWolf yes they did read glucose even then . It’s hard to explain correctly here however the pumps deliver a tiny amount of insulin based on needs throughout the day . They won’t over deliver the amounts aren’t large amounts aka (bolus) Larger amounts needed we self administer either through the pump or a regular insulin pen . Before meals or when readings are high . It won’t self deliver if not needed . Not eating is a huge risk for dropping low very quickly .
@@hr8839 we’re all individual. Stress is a well known trigger for raising blood sugar levels. That’s a fact. It’s always risen mine and that’s what I said originally.

Man you are killing it this year. I have been watching ever since the small dives and I just got hooked. I have always been a cold case person and it is just great to sit back and see you solve cases
This is so heartbreaking to know that when they built the dock, that they put the pylon right through the engine block. I used to live on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and would watch piers being built. I seem to remember that they would check out the area underwater to make sure that nothing would keep the pylon from being able to be pounded into the floor of the bay. It’s a really bittersweet moment, but at least Jimmy’s family now have the answers that they have been looking for. AWP thank you so very much for all the time and effort you put into helping families find their missing loved ones. @@MissusAnon Please consider it is driving a 18-24 inch wood pylon that is probably 35-45 feet long through ground and everything in it....meaning dirt, rocks, buried metal and such...it takes huge forces so no, no engine block wouldn't be noticed. IF they drilled the holes first, then they are using a huge bit designed most likely to bore through stone too, so sheet metal and engine block wouldn't stand up to a 24 inch drilling rig..... My only real issue would with whoever planned and surveyed the area to build it....didn't they run sonar over that area to check depth and obstructions???
Congrats Doug and crew that's a big deal. Doug I could see the look on your face as you exited the water. That's a lot of emotion brother. Take a moment to remind yourself the gift you gave that family. Not all heroes wear capes bud. They wear uniforms of all types and sometimes...just sometimes they wear drysuits.

What an emotional episode...Doug really holds it together, bless him! Take care and stay safe! Your background music certainly gives depth to the episode, thanks!

I discovered your videos about three weeks ago… I’m completely mesmerized with Adventures with Purpose. I almost can’t get my work done for watching, crying with families, crying with you guys, proud for you guys when your work brings a type of peace for those searching for a lost loved one. I will pray for your teams and that the Lord will continue providing your need for helping others. Thank you for your obvious compassion for humanity, something almost Completely lost in our world today. Blessings!

Such respect for you. . . . .

I can’t believe they just drilled the pylon into the engine! Didn’t they notice something was different compared to drilling the rest of them in? Jared, you must be so proud of Doug. Those machines that put those into the ground wouldn't even blink an eye at a car.
Yep just what I was thinking. How did they not even notice?
That really pisses me off you know I say all the time you can't fix stupid people they had to notice something was different and most of the time when you put a pylon in you have to have a diver it's like they just didn't give a crap
Unbelievable that the construction workers never went under water. No surveying done other than on paper.
That's just crazy.
Has to be one of the most gut wrenching, traumatic discoveries for everyone involved.
Tragic beyond words.

RIP Jimmy. 🙏
Wow, that seems really sketchy. What the heck?

@@thankyouforincorrectingme I’m aware of that, but it’s also their job to survey the river before they drill.
My condolences for the family and friends ❤
we think alike! wasn't there any type of underwater scan done before they built?
I understand but before watching this show...many of us would not even consider scanning underwater...So yes I see your point but casting blame is not the answer either.....it really was unfortunate...

But one thing I know for sure is that they are no longer suffering in any way, shape or form & that's the most important thing.🤗💯

well I mean, when there's no clear accident that took place & no damage along the edge of the road going toward the water it wouldn't really be an obvious option to arrive at, remember everything seems obvious in hindsight but when you're coming into it completely blind & all you have is a man that just disappeared off the earth theres a million things that COULD have happened, & you have to think to that the fact he left without his phone& wallet & other items is also somewhat suspicious in that it could easily mislead police into seeing it as more of a foul play scenario, but in general there's just no reason this would seem anymore likely than any other possibility when youre truly coming into it blind like that it likely might not even be on the radar at all when there was no clear signs of an accident taking place

I don't seem to "get used to" watching discoveries... I cry every time. It's heartbreaking and yet, in some weird way, beautiful... thank you guys, for helping these families. ❤️
Same. I cry, but I’m happy for the families too. They get their loved one back, and they get to know at least some of the story. That means everything.
@@auntkaz815 I can't even begin to imagine what the family's must feel 💔
Snap!!,my heart feels a bang ,everytime they find someone and then i get a wave of heavyness in my chest and then im crying!!
Feel so so sorry for the family's.
I cant help but cry!!
I try stay tough but i am not built like it.
I feel peoples pain!!
🙂😉🙏🏽
I can't stop watching these.
Doug, you really have come along way. You come across more comfortable and confident on camera. Great Job!
Doug, that was the absolute best detective work I have ever seen! You did a fabulous job at taking charge and getting the family some answers.
I'm glad Doug got to shine on the episode so people can see just how amazing he is!!
All I can say is it takes a certain type of human to do this type of work. You guys are Angels on Earth. Thank you for all that you do to help these families.
I just truly can’t understand how they would literally drill directly through the engine of the vehicle without noticing something. So very sorry for his family 🙏🏼 What you at AWP do is amazing, your dedication to detail, and the empathy for the families.
I'm just shocked how the people doing the dock construction never saw the SUV.... mindblowing.
Speechless. No words to describe. Doug you rock. Thank you Anthony and crew. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the story. Praying for all of you!
The emotion on Doug's face as he climbs up on the dock says it all!! You guys are amazing and what you do!! The world needs more people like you!
Man you are killing it this year. I have been watching ever since the small dives and I just got hooked. I have always been a cold case person and it is just great to sit back and see you solve cases
Doug is amazing, well spoken and calm, collective. Every time he has a recovery he takes that deep breath.
I know that you wish you could solve every case, but you put your heart and soul into every single case that you are asked to look into. May God bless all of you, and keep you safe on your journeys. 🙏❤️✝️
I live in MD too in lower SOMD . I'm on the water too . This so crazy they didn't check the surrounding area before they built the dock !
What you do for these families is beyond description. Thank you so much.
Hello dear, how are you doing?
Doug did great as lead in this episode. I do hope Jared is not sick, and was just sitting this one out. Condolences to the family. After all this time, they finally know where Jimmie is. Bittersweet.
I am in tears. How heartwrenching. As always, thank you AWP for all you do for these families.
Wow. Absolutely amazing. Doug, I can only imagine how difficult it is to balance the focus on your work with the emotion of the discovery. May you never lose that respect for the family, for the person in the car - blessings to you all.
There's something special about Doug Bishop his heart, love, compassion is shown through like no other!
I watched this outfit for from picking up trash to finding cars to people. In a short time. But they still pick up trash and cars from the under water car wash / parking garage it seems . Can't forget the others that helped form it. Chaos divers, depths of history can't forget that cop magnet. And Nug. Good work good job .
Jeez! Y’all been finding ppl left right and center lately. Every time I come on UA-cam there’s another case solved. Mind blowing how you guys are just churning thru all these. 🤯🤯🤯 Keep up the good work fellas! These families would be lost without you! And thank you to YOUR families for allowing you to be away from home so often to help others loved ones finally be able to come home.
This is the first episode of your series I have ever watched and I’m in awe of you all!
You are heroes.
I can’t believe the freakin’ pylon got drilled through the engine.
Nobody thought anything was odd when that was happening? Either they didn’t or they didn’t care. Thankfully, you guys do 👏
You did so much more than find a loved one. You’re living your purpose and building a positive legacy for your family! Proud of you all!!!
When people build things like docks they don't dive the water to see what the bottom looks like most likely to thought it was rock and by applying pressure it will give way. Great job Doug and company.
Cathy McGlasson--
Amen, to that.
I Agree.😉😉😉
After Watching this video, I Too, Simply Cannot believe, that either the Construction Company, or the Pennsylvania Local Divers, did NOT Check the bottom Grounds, of the Docks, before they Drilled, & Built
the Docks, behind the "Stingers Waterfront" Restaurant..
The Bottom of the Water, SHOULD Have been Checked.. But I Simply Cannot believe, that they just "Drilled the Pylon, right through the Engine Bay, of Jimmy's Car.. 😡😡
Sad, but Yet, Tragic End, to this Situation, AND Cold Case, of 19 Years. So Glad, that "Doug & Company", were able to Finally FIND Jimmy, and Bring him Home!!🙏🙏😢 Thank-You to ALL, Who were Involved...👏👏
R.I.P Jimmy. You Are Missed & Loved, By Many!!🙏🙏🙏😢🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷
They don't. A lot of places require soil samples, or dredging done first.
@@laurenskee2665 suppose to but not everyone does.

So tragic! I am sure it is a major relief to the loved one's that he has been found. Especially his daughters knowing it was an accident, not him leaving on purpose.
Jimmy’s coming home! My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family, the emotion of the father, you guys captured such a sorrowful moment. Thank you for making us a part of that privilege . So proud of you AVP!🕊✝️🕊
There is a LOT to appreciate about this whole thing. Jimmy was found. His brothers were there. Doug did a great job in preparing the family and seeing to all the possibilities, then finding the vehicle so clearly.
And then Doug pulls the other diver out of the water as if he was pulling a long shriveled weed from a garden and I thought for sure he would shoot him up into the atmosphere. Oh my goodness, Doug. That's some big-guy, big-muscle strength.
At least it allowed me a chuckle when I was getting so emotional while watching your work.
This finding is a tough one indeed to think.I can feel how Doug’s emotion seing the actual situation down there.
Doug, I can only speak for myself, but I am incredibly proud of you and the team! You did a great job as always.
You guys are literally doing some of the most purposeful work I’ve seen in this country among all the other things you could be doing so God Bless you I hope you guys know your AMAZING ! Jesus loves you .
Amen,,I couldn't of said it any better than that..may God bless you all...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My heart to this family, his brother was right there on that dock helping them out of the water, that just hit me! God bless them and all involved in this recovery.
33:00 I’m crying over a man I don’t even know. How sad is this?! Bringing him up will be a problem but these guys will get it done. Respect to Doug and his crew and condolences to Jimmy’s family. Thankfully they get closure. 😢
As a daughter of a suicide 20 years ago in water, I thank you for all you do for all the families. The not knowing anything is unbearable. Thank you for your professionalism guys. Love from Yorkshire England.
So sorry for your loss
Thank you so much. How odd that you replied 2 days before the anniversary and I put that on a year ago. Take care and have a great New Year's Celebration or if like us with dogs who hate fireworks hoping for a quiet one. X
This is such an important task all of you are carrying out, and it's gaining steam as well with more and more divers trying to help. It's amazing. I can't imagine being on site with you guys and helping out. That would be so rewarding and heartwarming.
How in the H E double hockey sticks did they not notice they were drilling into something as solid as a friggin car...??!? I'm so glad you guys found him for the family's sake, but this sounds like a huge undertaking to free him and his car.
Because they probably thought it was a rock.
Those drills are massively powerful.
Ikr goes to show they don't dive to see what's there if the foundation will be strong enough to me that should be standard
@@ruthfrancois8972 RIGHT!!!!!
Oil and other fluids should have raised when they did the drilling.
WOW!!! He and the car were stuck right there against the pillar for 19 years and not one person noticed it until now. That all-around is shocking. I'm glad the Adventures of Purpose Search & dive team are doing a fantastic job!!! 😱😱😱
These guys go above and beyond. They deserve as much support and help from everyone.
Kudos to Doug, Anthony and everyone involved. Without you guys this family would not have some sort of closure. Heartbreaking.
Everytime I watch the intro I get cold chills and goosebumps. Just incredible the number of people brought home. God bless you all, Jared, Doug, Josh, Carson, and the rest of the team and other support. My condolences to Jimmy's family. Thank God you all finally have answers! Thank you Anthony for your assistance with this one! ❤️
Where is Jared?
I just find what you're doing is absolutely amazing in every way, you're a true gift to families that may have never gotten any closure.💜
Well, Doug, I'm feckin speechless too. I can't believe that happened. Well spotted with your sonar skills, and so glad for the family. Thank you all.
Doug is a total sweetheart. A good human. You guys do a great job. Thanks for creating this content and bringing much needed closure to the families.
I watch your videos all the time. This one tore me up. When Jimmy’s brother or Dad (can’t remember) was helping you two back into the dock. Knowing the emotional state he was in part is relief he was found and part having his heart ripped out but the thankfulness he had for you all. I was bawling like a baby.
All of these stories you solve are magnificent what you do for these lost people and their families. This one really brought tears to my eyes. God bless you for the work you do and may He continue to watch over you. 🙏🏽
My dad is a diabetic so this hits close to home for me. He has had so many medical emergencies due to his sugar getting too low. This is my biggest fear. Sending all the love to James’ family.
Unbelievable. How could they not know a vehicle was there when they were drilling? Mind boggling. So thankful for you guys. God's blessings to all. Rest in peace Jimmy
Unfortunately, the power of the machine putting in a pylon that size wouldn't notice a car at all.....
How crazy is that?! I’m so glad you guys were able to find his vehicle. You all are a blessing.
This one has me in tears. God bless them all and God bless you guys for bringing home some answers.
This just bought me to tears. Doug you guys have done an incredible job yet again and finally brought closure for his family. My deepest condolences 💗
Another Amazing Job! Thanks for using your talents to give families answers.
Doug you are fabulous, no better person to take the helm when Jared takes some well deserved, much needed time off. Thank you for all that you do.
Thanks @adventureswithpurpose for all the wonderful work that you do. My twin brother was lost at sea and though there was no closure for our family l personally do get a sense of comfort and peace watching your videos. God bless, keep safe and many thanks for all that you will continue to do in the future.

My sympathies to the family. I cried watching this and it means so much to get him back. Thank you for what you do.
I’ve cried at all of the recoveries but for some reason this hit me so much more. This movement is amazing. You guys are truly beautiful souls. RIP Jimmy 🙏🙏🙏
What an emotional episode...Doug really holds it together, bless him! Take care and stay safe! Your background music certainly gives depth to the episode, thanks!
I can’t think of anything more selfless and caring than helping families finally find their loved ones. I hope the team from AWP get the help they deserve to process the trauma the team deals with as well. Condolences to Jimmy’s family and friends. This is heartbreaking to know he should have been found sooner.
I discovered your videos about three weeks ago… I’m completely mesmerized with Adventures with Purpose. I almost can’t get my work done for watching, crying with families, crying with you guys, proud for you guys when your work brings a type of peace for those searching for a lost loved one. I have been shocked on learning how many people choose this method to end their lives. My heart is sad, somewhat broken, for the deceased as well as the survivors. I had no idea! I will pray for your teams and that the Lord will continue providing your need for helping others. Thank you for your obvious compassion for humanity, something almost Completely lost in our world today. Blessings!
Welcome home James "Jimmy" Amabile. God Bless all who were involved with this search and discovery, we love you. Prayers to all his family and the new trails they will be going through. Peace!!!
