I’m a single parent, expats living in France for almost 6 years already, me and my daughter so exited and ready to move back, and we are loving the idea to move to Providence. I found this building that I’m very interested in renting, I just couldn’t find any videos about the area, and I’m also confused what’s the name of that neighborhood please ? Anyways, I’ll keep looking something similar to the same style and amenities in case I find a better area since I’ve never been to Rhode Island. Hey, hopefully I can still offer some help. That area you are looking into is called Valley. It's an up and coming area with a lot of mills & factories being turned into lofts. There is a very nice walking path along the river and there has been a lot of development nearby on Sims Ave and some markets, bars and breweries are turning up. It's not regarded as the best area in the city safety wise but it has been steadily getting better and the areas that tend to get more sketchy are to the Southwest. Extremely close to Downtown & Federal Hill which are great neighborhoods.The biggest draw to the area I would say is its appearance. Since it has a lot of factories it tends to look a bit grim, and there's a lot of brick, concrete and parking lots.

The east side is the only nice part of Providence right now... Elmhurst is OK I guess but the rest of the city is absolutely a shit hole
