I lived and worked in Boston for 13 years until I realized that it doesn't care about the working classes, and I was actually hurting my future by trying to live there. You don't need luck in Boston, just millions and millions of dollars.

I have been trying to move to Rhode Island for over a year now and I am wondering if it's worth it. There are towns worth moving to but being close to the border doesn't hurt if you live in Masshole and work in Rhode Island. There are definitely pro's and cons of both. But depending on the devil you know vs the devil you don't can be a huge problem. I would say Cumberland would be the least due to the taxless discount for older Americans paying taxes and owning homes. The hands free law is more of an injustice than a way for keeping people from texting, makeup artist, or anything else that one could easily be distracted over. The benefits of working in Rhode Island is the state share of paying your "family leave" is definitely a better a value living in Masshole than RIhole. The people are much friendlier out of Cumberland and around the surrounding towns. The seafood available is comparable and has prices can be similar to each other. Housing prices are definitely comparable depending on what town is affordable. So folks have to decide where they want to live using their own judgement. Masshole is 90% liberals while RI is 60 40 liberal depending but as a whole.

The main problem is put of state people buying property here and major corporations buying multi to single family homes! We need to stop this b.s, us native RIers are getting pretty damn angry.
