That is sick. EVO was my dream car and I just bought one 2 weeks ago and it's been fun driving it. Got some stuff ordered, but not sure what turbo setup I want since I am still stock block.
@@ChrisDoesCars Documenting this build is particularly important, because there’s almost nothing on the internet showing the capabilities of the TRU 3586. I’ve done research high and low and have been finding nothing, so I’m excited to see the outcome!
@@c2cold4sho so true! When I was trying to do research on it myself I couldn’t find anything. The other white Evo in this vid is now running the same turbo and he made around 530 on flex
I'm guessing anywhere between 450 to 480 whp on pump and 520 to 560 on e85. You should get a flex fuel sensor bc the gas station might not always be consistent.
@@ChrisDoesCars 😂 yea just get a flex fuel kit for $400 or so and a tune. Don’t have to worry about switching maps or if it’s real e85 nothing. Pump and go
On E you should crack 5. But really you should be over 5 already on 91 and over 6 on E with a built bottom. Chag must have it turned down a decent amount
It was a new build, even the block I purchased new from the dealer, callies stroker crank etc. The engine was knocking at 29 psi on pump, Chag convinced me that was nothing for a built motor like mines. And he had tuned cars at 40 psi on pump. When I detected the problem he claimed it was a dirty injector, then blamed the engine builder and finally told me to choose another hobby but I should have expected that. He took my money, blew up my motor and accepted absolutely no responsibility. I have all our emails as proof.
@@waynecools-lartigue1253 29psi on pump? that is nothing... if it blew at that then you had a hardware issue 100%. Chag tunes all of our Evo's here.. over 15 done.. from 300whp to over 800whp.. zero issues or blown motors.
Perhaps in America but here in the Caribbean the pump we have isn't 93 or 91 octane. And that's why it's important to monitor knock. That engine had absolutely no hardware issues. I assembled it myself. Search "the tuners episode 1" and check out my build.

Nice! You have a lot to choose from when it comes to the turbo. So many options out there for the X. All depends on your power goals tho
Idk y but am happy for u 🙏🙏😂
@@evox.q thanks broski 💯
Good stuff brother, keep it up! Hoping you make good power on that TRU 3586!
Thanks man, I hope so too!

fingers crossed for 610+ build is amazing.
That would be mind blowing for sure haha, Thanks man!
Bro I felt the nervousness when you were doing the first log lol. Glad to see it’s holding strong. Can’t wait to see the E tune!
Yea bro I was nervous for sure 😅. As long as I hit 500 wheel on E I’ll be happy 😃
Just finished my tune with chag this week made 530 on E and I asked him to turn it down haha for now but I'm running Gennari 62mm
Those are some good numbers! I’m sure it’s fun to drive haha
@@ChrisDoesCars yeah I love it! Car feels very good and AFR on point
@@trxg9 stock block ?
@@ViggenStory yep
@trxg9 I'm running Gennari 60mm and I got tuned on E by Chet Rickerman. I'm making 560 on 30psi, stock bottom with S2 cams springs and retainers

Solid numbers man. I’m definitely considering installing a flex fuel sensor/gauge in the near future
I appreciate your videos, definitely inspiring me to get one myself
Haha thanks man. You won’t regret it if u do 👌🏾
I’ll sell u mine
I need an update on the gc8 coilovers
I'll try to make that happen!
Any particular reason you just don’t do a flex fuel?
Initially it seemed like a hassle, but after further research I’m kinda regretting not going with it 😅

Cars are expensive 😭🤣
What size injectors do you have?
FIC 1440’s
Great vlog
Thanks broski 😎

But if you're at 27psi on 91, I'm on 26psi on 93 with stock bottom and I'm at 480. On E I'm at 560 but I got S2 cams
@@SkyboundMar nice, I’m sure those cams help quite a bit. Will definitely have to upgrade to some s2’s in the future
I see ya 🔥💯👌🏽
Haha, thanks broski 😎
That's right listen to your father for advice
🤣🤣🖕🏾
I think you'll be between 560 and 640 HP 😏
That would be nice 😅
Imma guess you gonna make 500ish on E
Now that I watched what you made on pump imma say 550+ on E
That would be insane! haha
Tfti lol
🤣🤣 u get your car back on the road???
