Just one aspect Im not sure about, the gunwales are very low in the bow area, can this boat be specced with hand rails round the bow seating (lying) area to inspire a bit of safety confidence? Otherwise, I think its the best laid out boat in its class. Thanks again.
Hi Glyn, Thank you for taking the time to comment and enquire. unfortunately there is no forward rail option. I have used a Saxdor 200 all summer and currently own one and i have found that you can actually get a very good grip on the actual mold itself as its not that wide. You could do an aftermarket grab rail that is secured with self tapping screws. Thank you once again for your comments, they are genuinely appreciated. Best regards Neville
I was thinking the same thing, if I got one of these, I’d definitely have a custom rail made for it, lovely little boat, will have to drop into the showroom come the summer!
No, for now there is no anchor locker or an option for a windlass. In my opinion it’s a small price to pay for a boat that is so well designed. Best layout in its class for a 20 foot boat.
There is stacks of space for an anchor. Most boats this size don’t have a designated anchor locker that will take the realistic kit. The floor is not easily flooded, it easily drains.
