One take. Nice.
Thanks! Really enjoyed testing this boat. I'll be doing the 320 Saxdor next and uploading the test drive video we filmed on the 200 soon.
Hello from the U.K. mate, absolutely love this video; exactly what I’ve been looking for. Subbed and looking forward to the next. I’m looking at that exact spec with a 150. I’m 6’2...apart from the obvious duck under the targa do you reckon it’s still roomy enough for a big fella? Cheers 👍
G’day! Oh thanks I’m happy to hear this as just new at making these videos so keen to hear what people like to view.
I’ve seen a picture of a new seat design for the 200 which looks better for big blokes. It’s adjustable and faces both sides. I would ask your dealer if you’re allowed to see a pic and wait for this new seat if I was you.
Hello Neildo, the height from the deck to the roof is 5' ft. You can see the dimension here : online.flippingbook.com/view/260288/
@@saxdoryachts Nice thanks! I tried to get a quote to order a 200 pro sport from Ideal boats but was ignored; i'll keep trying
Hi Dan, great review of the Saxdor 200. When will the test drive video be published? I’m also from the UK and interested in buying my first boat to trailer. I’ve just bought a 4 wheel drive car that can tow 1800kg so this boat with trailer should be under that weight.
Hi Ian, it's winter here in Sydney now so i'm working on all the edits now and hope to get it uploaded in about a week. As a trailer boat i think this is a great choice, she's smooth through the chop, very dry and has a good turn of speed with the 150Hp i tested. I would go for the bigger HP because it seems pointless having a smaller motor when you know you can go faster.
perfect boat except for the open transom. I wouldn't feel safe with my kid on the boat other than that it's quite an amazing boat.
Yep understandable if you have little tackas onboard
Aku sangat suka dengan sepid bod ini
Yep... i agree it's a sexy little boat! :)
Fine presentation. What is the gross weight of the boat you presented?
I can't remember but if you follow the link in the description you'll get to the dealers website where you can view the specs
thanks for this nice review, would you say this boat is a good option to use in the aegean sea to crosss the islands or is it too small for that ? many thanks
No worries. I've sailed the Agean Sea a few times and I would say as long as you pick your weather. As it's often very calm out there those are the best times to cross but if you do have some wind coming just plan your trips so you are going downwind. Obviously prepare safety equipment for an offshore trip when you are doing big crossings. But yes it's possible. Naturally the 270 would be the more comfortable optiona but if you want an adventure and a boat that will do it for you then yes this can do it.
thank for your response, isnt though downwind dangerous with such s small boat ?@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife
Not sure that open stern is any kind of a good idea, picture this out on a lovely day a squall whips up your in a following sea, whats the vessel do fill up?
Yes i've had a wave come in the transom but it just drains straight out the back again and the decks are sealed. Agree if you were in a big following sea you'd take water onboard, but i would just keep up the speed to avoid that. But you're right as water can come aboard so you would need to be aware of your surroundings if that is going to be an issue in your area.
Where is the fuel tank stored?
From memory she's built in under the floor on the centerline and made from alloy.
can i put a 450r on this?
LOL__ please do this and let me film it
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife u wanna see me sink!! the boat probably cant hold the weight of a 450r!🤣
Yah the open design water flow in after speed wouldnt work dont like that at all very bad setup
Depends how you use and drive the boat plus what climate you're in. Yep if you're in some cold place and exposed to waves your feet could get get cold. I noticed they added heaps of dry storage areas for your gear and i've found the actual driving experience for a 20ft boat to be fantastic.
I can see the base model version being perfect as a tender to a mothership. Imagine up in Indo loading your boards up and heading out to a reef break for the day it would be perfect for that.
