I know right! my problem was actually trying to log in in Google Classroom, i had so much trouble that my first work was missing and they send a tutorial 1 week after the due date so yeah i'll have to catch up with the next assignments

Maybe you could make a video on the topic how I as a teacher can get notified when a student has written a comment or question to me. @@viv81310 But when notifications is turned on my email gets absolutely clogged with notices from Google Classroom. It would be much, much better if I could see all the unread comments for a class (or all my classes) in a single place in Google Classroom.

From the google drive perspective, it looks like my students submitted works count against my storage quota (I am the teacher that created the google class). Is this normal? @Eric Curtis In the video, it did not explain how the process of submitting a collaborative assignment would work. So if students are all able to edit a document at the same time, who submits it? How do you give a mark that is recorded in Google Classroom if it’s only one student who submits the work? In Google Classroom, when a student does not turn in work, you cannot enter a mark. If one student submits the work, then nobody else can since the teacher chose to have the students able to edit that one single document. The teacher can only enter a mark for the student who turned in the work. Is that correct or am I missing something?

Great video! I'm using Chrome 80 (latest), but when I click on the DOCX in the Your Work section, I'm getting a preview window instead of it immediately taking me into the edit mode of Google Docs. If I click the "..." at the top-right, I can "Open in New Window" where only *then* will I see a message at the top-middle to edit in Google Docs (vs. other apps), but it's still not immediate as you demonstrate in your video. Finally, I don't see a "Turn in" button on the Google Doc once in Edit mode as you have in your video. Any ideas what could be causing these differences? Thanks!
Me not handing in my work doesn't mean I don't know how to hand it in. It means I don't want to do that shit ,it mean when I encounter the minimum inconvenience while doing the work my anxiety goes through the roof, and I cry for no fucking reason
On the assignment page you can click the "Add or create" button and then choose "File" to select and upload the PDF from your computer (if that is where the PDF is stored) or "Google Drive" if you have it in your Drive. Let me know if that is not what you were asking.

Does this happen always, or does one need to specifically trigger sending the mail from Classroom? Can you please elaborate?
Students can set their notification preferences in their settings. Also, it will only email once, when the assignment is posted. It won't remind them what is coming due. They could also look on their Google Calendar for this.

No, you are viewing the assignment there. To see your work, you would need to click on whatever work you are doing (the doc, slide show, spreadsheet, etc) in that assignment's page.

There should be a file created in your Google Drive that contains all of your students work, finished or not.

Do the math problems on a piece of paper, then take a picture of the paper. Add the picture file to the assignment and turn that in.
