I have... 2 complaints about the english game so far 1 they took out the lyrics and left us with some instrumental 2 why doesn't the opening play every time you open the game?! It's so cool!!! Other than that, I'm near the start of the game but having the time of my life so far
I have the NA version and it plays the lyrics as well, is your copy from EU? I agree it should play every time you open the game, but if you wait on the home screen it should auto start. I watch it everytime before I play :)

What English version do you have? I have the US version and the song has lyrics and it always plays on the title screen.
