Oh my goodness!! Made these last night and they are beyond delicious!! The teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever made and I have enough for next week and other recipes as well!! Thank you!!
Washing your chicken is probably the worst thing you can do, you get salmonella water splashed all over your kitchen and onto your self probably even face. Bacteria gets killed during cooking, washing chicken is less safe and is a waste of your time and resources.

Because I don't know what they did with it at the store, so for my own peace of mind I usually wash all meats, fish and Poultry. You don't have to wash yours you can proceed with it right out the package if you prefer.
Thanks for sharing. It seems to be a very simplified and delicious recipe to try. One quick question: Could you please share the quantity of ingredients you used for the seasoning on the wings? The ingredients list in the description box doesn't seem to have the quantities mentioned. Many thanks and do keep such recipes coming. Best wishes.
@@candythaglamcook Thanks for responding, but I must differ with you. I've tried it both ways and there's most definitely a deference. (it could be because I use a paring knife to pierce the chicken skin because hand)
@@sandr921 because I don't know what they did with it at the stores. I wash everything that I put in my body. I can tell you are judging me for washing my meat. Well the feeling is mutual cause I'm judging you for not washing yours. Have a pleasant night.
@@candythaglamcook While I have no interest to go too deep into washing/not washing discussion seeing what a salty person you are, I recommend you to check some of the studies on the topic. All the scientific research shows it's a hell of a lot more dangerous to wash the poultry due to risk of cross contamination. If there's some bacteria on the meat, you're not going to get rid of it by washing anyway, you're just going to spread it around your kitchen, instead of just destroying it by actually cooking the meat.
@@panvlk and I have don't care about studies because there's non showing ppl that died from washing meat. Been washing meat over 40 years and still healthy and alive. You go study why that is and have a nice day.
I literally have never nor ever heard of people washing the chicken....is this a real thing? Because i have cooked so sooo many years as my ancestors before I in which i get my recipies from...nobody washed chicken and as far as i know we have not needed to as we are never ill. Nor has anyone had any cancer or any type. So why do you wash chicken?
Of course washing your meat is a choice, I don't think people die from washing or not washing its just a matter of preference, the meat smells better and taste better when it's washed in my opinion as I have tried it both ways and can definitely tell the difference.

A simple taste test will be most important for your videos. Btw great job. Keep up the good work.
I'll work on that. Thank you
Congratulations on your milestone! 100k subs!!
U Didn’t use any flour is it crispier without it ? It looks delicious. Thanks for sharing.
@sharonnimmons2184 it gets soggy when you add the sauce so I prefer no flour.

Thank you and welcome. Happy new year 🎉
Loved to see this will try on mine too
Does it make a difference if you cook the wings in the oven vs deep frying them?
yummy🥂🥂🥂💢💯👍👍👍
I would like to know what do you do with the used oil?
Good question. :) I'd like to know also. :)
This looks amazing what type of pot did you use for deep frying the wings and approximately how much oil did you use?
I used a cast iron pot/Dutch oven. I didn't measure the oil I just added enough to submerge the wings in.
@@candythaglamcook ok thank you
First. Yummy. I have some chicken wings. Will try this later today. Tks.

Candy. Do you have a recipe for crispy baked chicken wings. Would appreciate that. Tks.
I'll do one soon

*PRO TIP!*
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to your wash/soak to tenderize the meat. Rinse well.
@@IamME-h5w I do that for beef or chicken breast. It's not needed for chicken wings..

Chicken in the ruff recipe please!
You didn’t mention the the measurements
Black people rarely measure.. it’s a feeling, unless it’s baking
You called your garlic salt, garlic power. Guess it doesn't really matter if you use power, or salt, then. :)

Why are you washing the chicken?
Because it's nasty not to wash it.

Seems delish but way too many ingredients, IMO.
Just season with salt and pepper if that works for you. And get you the store bought sauce instead.
This video is too long. Why do you think we needed to see you clean the sink... It's like watching paint dry!
