You can make your own colored staples by taking a group of them still attached to each other and color just the flat tops with a permanent (shARPIE) marker or alcohol marker, and tada custom staples any color you choose! Works great and you are only limited by the marker colors that you have!!!

#Replay with Tim Holtz mini attacher, you can use a sharpie pen to color the staples before you put them in the stapler.

Eeeekkkk! Thank you so much for the shout out with the Labels From Days Gone By Series! Thanks for suggesting it! I’ve actually got another one planned for early in the new year! Pastels are a great idea too! They’d prove to be much more difficult for me to do. I’m so used to bold colors…. Hmm…. Wheels are turning… Big hugs for doing all this hard work for the paper crafting community. I sat and watched the whole thing through in one sitting and it didn’t seem like it took more than an hour! You are always so lovely to listen to my dear! Xxoo.

Great video! One suggestion. In your slot/ribbon punch. Just punch out and slide to left or right and punch again making the slot wider. I do this a lot and can get the perfect slot for all ribbon sizes. Hope this helps with this punch and maybe it will become one of your favs.
Looking forward to your 2024 vids..
    Healthy and Happy New Year….

For Tim Holtz products, I have learned to watch his instructional videos so I can use the tools as intended. His precision trimmer does not require the user to lift the clear plastic paper holder. Paper can be inserted without lifting anything. It's a real time saver, for me.

Thank you sooo much for your tremendous effort showing us what you like and what you don’t. I have made greeting cards for many years and now also make junk journals. My equipment and supplies include nearly everything you reviewed and I agree with most of your opinions. The one thing that I have an issue with is Ali Express. As a US follower of your channel, I will not purchase from Ali Express. After learning that they are sponsored by the Chinese government, I have stopped buying from them. China is not a friend of the US, so I do not wish to support anything from China or the Chinese government. My support will always go to US or EU companies even at the higher price - the quality is higher, also. Thank you again, Rocky J. 🤗

Hi Margreth, wow how did I miss this video,🙆 did you know you can change the color of your staples with alcohol inks. I totally agree about the corner chomper and the credit card. a loot of money for something we can get for free. For your TH matt use it the hold you papers or cards in place when stamping. it is great for holding things in place. Margreth I love 49 & Market Rub-ons so awesome. My creative Expression rub-ons didn't work for me either. I'm sad because I've seen them used. I'll just use my stamps. Thank you I really could listen longer :)🤗

Loved this review because you have strong opinions, but making it quite clear when something is just a personal preference, something not working for YOU, or when it is actually a fail - like rub-ons that will not rub on ...
A note on the large scoring board. I bought one many moons ago and paid extra to have the one with the centimeters at the bottom. Did it do me any good having those? No, not at all - because the scoring grooves will still be in imperial increments, of course! I felt really silly at the time. The Genuine Hougie Board, I think this might have been the first scoring board around, was smaller but had imperial on one side and you could flip it over to cm, where it would at least give you 5 mm increments.

I know you said you don't really use them, but there are reinkers for the dew drop pads. I get mine at Buddly Crafts (large pads, dew drops, reinkers; they've got it all, except what's exclusive to the Japanese market). You might like the VersaMagic ones better than the Memento ones (I do) since they're more like the Oxides. But again, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" so I certainly don't expect you to get any since you're happy with your Oxide inks. 🧡

I haven’t finished this video… I watch a bit here and a bit there…. But I will say this, I was inspired to get me some circle punches. I have 3 now… in smaller sizes. Then I went to the thrift store and found me a 2 1/4 circle punch. I folded a piece of paper to thicken it and it cut through with ease. Oh the satisfaction! Thanks! I’ll let you know when I’ve completed the video.

Margareth, I enjoyed this so much! I watched while I was making photo slides (Photo Booth and Chapter 3 slide die) and I could have watched another 2 hours, even though I only got 2 slides done.😀 I loved everything you showed, and have a lot of it, but I really need to get some 49 & Market. I am a major TH fan, so I always love when you use and show his stuff. But it hurts me when you say don't buy the rotary cutter. I love that thing so much. I love his new paper trimmer but I agree with you, I wish the track was a bit longer so that the scorer or blade could be parked without removing one or the other when using 12 inch paper. What you said about Distress Inks vs Oxides was interesting. I love Brushed Corduroy Ink, but not the Oxide, but dislike Frayed Burlap Ink, love it as Oxide. True for some other colors too. You know the splatter stamp from Tiny Toadstools? I always wondered why a splatter stamp was included with mushrooms, and I finally realized that they are meant to be spores! I use them as splatters too. One thing you said that really made me laugh..."Well, it's Tim Holtz; it's supposed to be expensive!" 😂

I just finished watching the whole video. It is a fantastic video that everyone should watch. I love how you explained the pros and cons. What a lot of work on your part. I was glad you talked about T.H. cutting machines. I bought his new, heavy one as soon as it came out. Everyone raved about it. I figured it was just me not using it correctly. I could cut measured paper but if I wanted to cut a specific part of the paper I could not see the design bc the bar covers the paper. I can’t wait till the creative expression stamps are in stock. Thank you for a truly, excellent video.

🙏🏼💗 about the cutter; Tim is a lefty; so am I and I use the sissix orange upside down; so try to turn the trimmer. Also I bought at amazon the Bic evolutions glue sticks in bulk; love them and a good deal. You can color tour stapels with alcohol markers.

I'm only at the whale tale punch part of the video, but I have to comment or I'll have totally forgotten by the end of the video lol....OK, I tried that whale tale punch and had so much trouble with it, it didn't cut cleanly and left sort of fuzzy edges, paper got stuck (even thin paper) and it too was expensive. It was probably defective, but I was so fed up with fiddling around, trying to get it to work properly that I wound up pitching it in the garbage in a fit of rage lol. Anyway, sorry for rambling on..sigh..I wound up making my own. I fold paper in half and using my 1" circle punch, I place it along the folded edge and cut out a tab...unfold it, shape a bit with scissors and Bob's your uncle. Once you do a few, it's super easy and you can pump them out in no time...and save some cash for other goodies.😊
Hope that helps someone? K...gotta get back to the show!!💜

I found this information incredibly helpful and sincerely appreciate the time it took for you to share your opinion on these products and am incredibly thankful that I don't have to waste time or money on purchasing things I won't use, especially during our economic times where money is tight! I watched it all the way through and generated a wish list so I can purchase wisely. Thank you!

I think she may have done that (if memory serves correct… I’ve seen someone do it, think it was her… but it is a pain when you could have it already done… but good hack nonetheless)
