We have started a series on Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). This is Homemade Medicated Feed using these antibiotics tetracycline & sulfadimethoxine+ormetoprim and binders. The treatment is for bacterial disease especially at the places where the readymade medicated feed is not readily available. The exclusion of any disease from the system is the key. This is the one important key to the success of any RAS. The practical experiences are being shared to help the aspirants to be aware of these management practices. This is essential point for the beginners as a farmer or investor. as well as for the farmers who have experience in other aquaculture systems and want to diversify in RAS. I have done training on Mud Crab (Scylla serrata) Culture from RGCA, Sirkali. But do not have any practical experience, so can only tell bookish knowledge. Kindly wait for some time, I will be establishing a vertical RAS for crab culture soon.
