Trailer was the most epic part of this movie’s release. I remember seeing this trailer and thinking that I was gonna watch a darker and epic planet of the apes film. Especially with the, “kill them all.” Line at the end of the trailer.
Saw this on theaters back then. Forgotten most of the scenes and even the trailer but I remember the overall story, ending, etc., I've always liked this film though plus it's nostalgia for 2001. A very happy year for me.
I didn't know Tim Burton nade this. But nightmare before Christmas 🎄 🎅 was his best. His worst was his 2012 film groovy shadows? Or something. Starring Johnny Depp. The trailers were so good but I regretted paying for it.
Love These Old Classic Trailers ,, Love a Good 90's to 2010's Trailers They were so Much Better & Got us so Excited & Gave Little to nothing Away Around the Plot Even more So Twists or Surprises in sequels Perfect Example is Godzilla from 1998,, JP was Huge in 1993 & The Lost World In 1997 But Watching The Lost World Jurassic Park in the Movies They Played a Trailer for Godzilla .. It was talking about the T-Rex Been the Biggest Predator the world Has ever seen & It was in a Museum .. Only For Godzilla to Stomp on it mid sentence & the T-Rex was only up to Godzilla's Ankle .. The Whole Cinema was Going Crazy Loads of Examples , Of Amazing Trailers That got you So Excited ,, From T2 Judgement Day To Jurassic Park , Twister , Titanic Even Small Budget Movies Like The Blair Witch that sold it as Real the hype was insane & After The Craft Dropped in 1995 & Buffy Came from it & Sabrina the Teenage Witch .. Trailers & Movies & There Soundtracks Used To Have so Much Meaning . Like Clueless or Scream Even the Whatssss Upppp From Scary Movie Lol.. Trailers don't have the Same Punch as they used to ... They Even Often Show the First 10 MIN's Of the Movie *If I Heard A Movie is Good* I Now Make sure & Not Watch the Trailer & Go In Blind
Counter to popular opinion I say it’s the best planet of the apes movies because it’s so divergent from the other movies. 1 it actually feels like you're on an alien world. 2 it’s darker than others I enjoyed this aspect of the movie. 3 the makeup done by the cast was phenomenal for its time. Only thing I can think of that makes the movie rather bad is the plot holes in the premise, but, other than that it’s a solid movie.
This movie got me into the recent trilogy & “kingdom of the planets of the apes”.
I enjoy these trailer voice guys of films from early 2000s
"in a world..."
That's Don LaFontaine, and this is an iconic usage of his trademark phrase, "in a world...."

This and first planet apes movies were the best. Don't understand why it gets so bad reviews. It was well done in every way.

Clearly you've never seen the trailer for the 2002 film Star Trek Nemesis 😂 it basically told the entire plot 😂
2:19 why did I think that was Miley Cyrus?
Technology took a huge leap for movies after 2001 I see

I want to see part 2. It ended off in an interesting way.
Maybe because it's the first Planet of the Apes film, okay it's very good, but I still like it a little.
Sadly this Movie first time release in Harry Potter & LOTR Era🤣
Harry Potter was released in Nov 2001. LOTR a month later. This was released July of that year.
