Re HDMI you may be able to save these cables if you have an Apple TV... There was a comment on one of your videos about Video mixing where this DJ played at a gig where the DJ booth was away from the sound booth so he plugged the Apple TV at the sound booth via HDMI and used AirPlay from the iPad for the video out. Works great and I'm using the same technique
I’m a professional but my 6 year old mixer broke and I’m forced to upgrade. - Very important question for me. - Does the update prompt when you first plug the camera cable into the iPad update the entire IOS. I need to use the adaptor but I also have to keep the IOS from like 6 years ago. Thx!
Ok So am I to understand that unless you use a controller, there is no way to use headphones to cue tracks AND charge your ipad? Because using a DJ headphone/speaker splitter would take up the port on the ipad.

Nevermind I found an adapter that has usb-c female and 3.5 mm. So now I can plug in my iPad and a DJ splitter into the headphone Jack. Shweet.
yes adaptor and spliter work if you were looking to buy a new controller i would say go with the flex 4
