WOW! I just now found your channel in my search of a "star" crochet blanket. By my standards your pattern is SPECTACULAR! I am so grateful to have come across your video and eagerly look forward to getting started. Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
Thank you. Now I understand row 13. I love the look of this and so wanted to be able to do it correctly. Of course, as usual, there is a great deal of X-rated muttering that accompanies any row/round of those blasted X stitches but I do love how they end up adding something special to a project. Please give Salty a big hug from me. Hope he has fully recovered from his injuries.
I love everything thing you do but mostly I love your manners on your tutorials, you say …. Please … do this …. Manners maketh the man. I’m doing the snowflake blanket (for the second time) but I still follow the tutorial it’s like crocheting with a friend. Thank you. 💁🏼♀️
I just did the first seven rounds and I am loving the pattern. I am trying out a new (for me) yarn, Bernat Forever Fleece; it is so soft and comes in great colors. The stitch definition is not as great as with the suggested yarn, RH Comfort but I am loving the soft and comfy feel of the Bernat Forever Fleece. Thanks, Mikey, for a great tutorial and written pattern.
I’ve just completed rows 13 then 8….I had been worried because of some of the comments but I completed 13, abet a bit loose in places but after doing row 8 it tidied it up. Must admit that I don’t know how you can do the crosses holding your hands almost still to keep in frame…I had to keep turning my work to see where I was going. Maybe it will get easier as I do more of the crosses rows. I’m really pleased with the start, I do enjoy challenging myself. Bye 💁🏼♀️
I’m replying to my own comment, but if it helps anyone who has been worried about the crosses….they definitely get easier as you go. I’m still crocheting it because I’m making it larger and every time I do the crosses it gets easier….

This is such a lovely pattern and I love all the choices we can make on our own as to size! Thank you so much. ❤
Lovely blanket. Would make a nice lap blanket or blanket for baby to lay on when visiting, and you want to lay them on the floor.
Started this one the other day, and glad I was right about rnd 13, took me a few times but I got it. Thanks for a beautiful pattern!
