I like about 70% cocoa dark chocolate, I kind of think milk chocolate is a little too sweet for me. Of course I love milk chocolate, but if I have the choice 70% is it
70 is ok but I honestly prefer a slight bitterness to balance out the sweetness, so 85 percent dark is my sweet spot. It's sweet and bitter at the sane time and I love the contrasting tastes because they go well together, like sweet and sour.
Couldn’t agree more. The older I get, the less I like the sweeter stuff. In my opinion, there’s too much sugar in mostly all snacks, baked items, and bottled juices and sodas in the United States. I prefer making it at home and scaling way back on the sugar content.
I eat 80% and love it. Ppl think I'm crazy. I did a dna test and Apparently I have a gene that makes me more likely to prefer dark chocolate and more likely to prefer savoury food to sweets.
Just wanted too say real quick, that this channel has been inspiring me too try knew foods. Last week I tried a bunch of new middle eastern dishes and tonight I had sushi, fish eggs, and smoked salmon for the first time. It was all so good and I’m really happy I tried it.
Definitely dark for me. When I'm craving chocolate I'm usually craving this deep real cocoa flavour, which is definitely in dark chocolate. Can you do a video review about Lindt dark chocolate and tell us your opinion after you taste it?
I absolutely love white chocolate, it just for some reason feels so special! I love milk chocolate too tho. Dark chocolate only as chunks in a cookie, or drizzled over a cake
Dark chocolate all the way (75-80%). The over sweetness from milk chocolate burns my throat for some apparent reason. Also I get a slight headache from it. I prefer the bitterness, and its especially good in homemade hot chocolate
I love milk chocolate (I have a sweet tooth) but am very picky about which brands I like (regardless of the price). I do agree that the quality of dark chocolate matters so much 💚
Ritersport has a seam that opens if you break the chocolate before unwrapping it. I hate seeing it unwrapped wrong after learning in the last couple of years how to do it right 🤣 idky, no judgement, but I looove ritersport
I probably haven't tasted the best quality dark chocolate. That being said, from what I have tried I prefer milk chocolate in most cases, but dark chocolate covered fruit is delicious.
I love dark chocolate but I go with medium quality I have been having dark chocolate every since I was 5 and now I can go back to the taste of milk chocolate
Dark chocolates I've had so far are bitter tasting so I prefer milk chocolate. Im 23 but don't really drink coffee in general as well so that probably adds why.
If I have to go for the affordable route, I'd go for sweet because you can find it in many shapes yet still ends up yummy. Meanwhile, I'd go for dark if I have a lot of money to spend. Dark ones usually are expensive if they're high quality.
Me too I only like dark chocolate if it is high quality 🍫 or at least like Lindt chocolate de 100% cocoa 👌🤤but of course I prefer milk chocolate I love the pistchio truffle with white &milk chocolate 🍫 from Godiva store delicious 🤤
Always preferred dark chocolate for as long as I can remember. It’s just richer and more chocolatey to me, especially when it’s the semi-sweet kind in cookies or brownies ❤
I am someone who is almost a teen and still i never had a liking for milk choclate ..dark is just right for me...but i dont like 100% dark 70-90% dark will work for me
I once ate an 85% dark chocolate a few years back and while I was expecting total bitterness, it actually left an interesting aftertaste in my mouth. It was actually very good.
I can't eat milk chocolate bc I don't eat dairy anymore- dark chocolate especially a very good artisan one is so good. A salty one or fruit one, pumpkin, gingerbread, nut blend theres so many. I also calorie restrict and if you're having trouble with eating too much choclate in one go take 2 pieces of the choclate bar and put the entire bar away into the fridge or away from you and then come back to your pieces to eat it in 5 mins! That helps me!
I like both, as long as they have a nice, smooth, texture! Milk chocolate tho... If I had other choices, its something I usually won't eat. Dark chocolate just has that subtle but rich bitterness and Milk that sweet creaminess that I find alot more appealing
Tbh it doesn't matter as long as the chocolate is smooth and creamy. I tried this one chocolate that I am dying to try againg it was dark , but smooth and just the right amount sweet. I don't like too much sweet things, and I don't even consider white chocolate as chocolate ..... Again its too sweet for me 😋
White chocolate is good in small amounts bc it is very sweet but still I could eat a whole bar any day bc it just tastes so good but I mostly just eat 4-6 pieces so my stomach doesn’t hurt later and partly bc I want to save it
I like dark chocolate because I just like bitter things tea, coffee, chocolate and it’s heather and most of the dark chocolates are 14% or higher of fiber so it can help you but I think that’s with 80% to 92%
hmm it depends. i guess i prefer dark chocolate overall because i like to eat it on its own, unlike milk chocolate. i only like milk chocolate in candy bars or when it has something mixed into it.
Dark chocolate is always way too freakin bitter. Even in cooking, they say use dark chocolate bc milk will be too sugary but you lose either way. The bitternes can compromise the dessert and the milk chocolate makes it awfully sugary. I cant win :(((
I used to love milk chocolate when I was 7 cause of the sweetness, but now I like dark chocolate. Not too sweet not to bitter. 1st place is dark chocolate.
Honestly I personally prefer white chocolate mainly because dark chocolate kinda tastes like coffee to me, witch I don't like- And milk chocolate is to sweet for me
i’ve never been a fan of white chocolate. it’s just too sweet for me. even as a child, i always prefer the regular one or dark chocolate because they just tastes better in my opinion.
I like dark chocolate because I think milk and explicitly white chocolate are wayyyy to sweet for me. Granted I also like caramel or walnuts in the chocolate too but I like rally dark chocolate
This is very late but I used to work in a chocolate shop so I have to say this. Good white chocolate does exist but it won't be pure white. Instead it's beige because of the color of the cocoa butter. Pure white chocolate does not have cocoa butter and is usually made with some other, lesser quality fat which is the reason why it tastes terrible. White chocolate can be very good, but most stores don't carry the good versions.
If you have dark chocolate put it in your mouth, don’t chew it and drink some tea to make it melt in your mouth it is sooo good I’m not sure if it works well with coffee
Since a kid, I never liked White Chocolate, but Dark chocolate... It was the first thing I would get in some chocolate factory, and milk chocolate is decent/good
Where I am, Milk Chocolate is very rare, so we usually have Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Chocolate with a hint of citrus thatthey threw inside of it. We do of course have Milk Chocolate but it only makes up about 2.3% of the other ones.
Who here likes white chocolate 🙋🏻♀️
Milk chocolate is my favorite too
Naurrrrrr
Dark choclate is too bitter then milk on the other hand
HEAVEN
Naurrrrrr
I do, my family finds it disgusting
I used to like milk chocolate as a really young kid
but now that I'm a little older I really enjoy eating dark chocolate
I'm actually young but I prefer dark chocolate
@@Style_224 same

Good for you 🥰
Definitely dark for me. When I'm craving chocolate I'm usually craving this deep real cocoa flavour, which is definitely in dark chocolate. Can you do a video review about Lindt dark chocolate and tell us your opinion after you taste it?
Yup, also the healthiest chocolate
Also Jeanelle the way to open a Rittersport is to snap it along that line you were tearing on the package!
My German heart was a little hurt as well😂
I THOUGHT THE SAME I WAS LIKE NAH GIRL THATS NOT HOW YOU DO IT 😭😭
Okay, I'm German too and I always open it like she did. I feel like you kinda make a mess if you snap it😂
@@marie7153 but it‘s easier that way 😕
@@marie7153 i put my chocolate in the fridge, maybe it makes a mess if you leave it at room temperature?
High quality dark chocolate all the way, the depth of flavor can't be beat in my mind!
Agreed! The richness, the smell, the texture... And it goes so well with pepper too! 😋
@@vitaminademorango OH absofuckinloutly!! Not many people realize the unbelievable combination of these two powerhouses!

Is it only me or is her voice so soothing? ✨
Dark chocolate for me! 🍫
Ritter is one of the best. I love the cereal flakes 🥺🍫
yess they’re the best

Im honestly surprised. You have like countless of ideas. Everyday it’s a complete new thing. Good job Jeanell
I love dark chocolate but I go with medium quality I have been having dark chocolate every since I was 5 and now I can go back to the taste of milk chocolate
50-75% cacao is the sweet spot for me
70% is a good sweet spot for me. I do love between 70-90 though. Especially with light flavours like sea salt. Or dried raspberry bits
Dark and for the extra bit "with almonds" it's just so... Amazing.
Dark all the way
Agreed all the way
Facts
Girl, if you're gonna have ritter sport, try the flavours: cornflakes, butter biscuit and praline 😍
I’ve always liked dark chocolate !
Love dark milk chocolate man, the perfect mix
dark >
I love Dark Chocolate it has sweet and bitter taste and it's more heathier.
Yes, I too like Dark Choco
It’s definitely not sweet, but I’m also the kind of person who puts 1/2 a cup of sugar in their coffee and tea
Dark chocolates I've had so far are bitter tasting so I prefer milk chocolate. Im 23 but don't really drink coffee in general as well so that probably adds why.
@Bevan lol well my taste buds are a little fucked cause I put like 8 huge spoonfuls of sugar into my coffee including creamer 😂😂
If I have to go for the affordable route, I'd go for sweet because you can find it in many shapes yet still ends up yummy. Meanwhile, I'd go for dark if I have a lot of money to spend. Dark ones usually are expensive if they're high quality.
I Love dark chocolate, but I agree. Low quality dark is way worse that low quality milk. I would rather dark though
I personally think I like dark chocolate more now. I used to be obsessed with milk chocolate though, and I still find it good!
I will say Both are good
I like both they both taste good to be but together it’s so good
I prefer bittersweet which is kinda between the two I guess. But my favorite is white chocolate.
Me too I only like dark chocolate if it is high quality 🍫 or at least like Lindt chocolate de 100% cocoa 👌🤤but of course I prefer milk chocolate I love the pistchio truffle with white &milk chocolate 🍫 from Godiva store delicious 🤤
ahh the good old ritter sport chocolate, i loved this chocolate as a kid!
Dark chocolate is the best. The higher percent the better. Scree White and Milk Chocolate. However, Ritter Sport is the best.
quick tip: if you new to Ritter Sports, try their Chocolate Mousse, White Chocolate Hazelnut and Strawberry flavors!! highly recommend :)
I like them both😍
Always preferred dark chocolate for as long as I can remember. It’s just richer and more chocolatey to me, especially when it’s the semi-sweet kind in cookies or brownies ❤

Dark chocolate with salted caramel chuncks and hazelnuts ❤️

Milk Chocolate, best chocolate.
DARK CHOCO IS SO GOODDDD
Dark is superior
I always remember loving dark chocolate more then milk chocolate ever since I was a child.
Ritters are brutally underrated😋
I like white chocolate but it’s actually not considered chocolate since it’s made with cocoa butter and doesn’t contain any cocoa particles!
Darker milk Cadburys is my favourite. A perfect mix of the bitterness in dark and the creaminess in milk.
I like both, as long as they have a nice, smooth, texture!
Milk chocolate tho... If I had other choices, its something I usually won't eat. Dark chocolate just has that subtle but rich bitterness and Milk that sweet creaminess that I find alot more appealing
I lke dark chocolate but I choose to consume milk chocolate because the dark chocolate has too much caffine that keeps me up all night. 🌙
MILK CHOCOLATE 100%
Bittersweet chocolate is my pick!
Dark chocolate period ! The exception is Ritter sport butter biscuit flavour is the besssst!
I can do dark chocolate if it's topped with sea salt 😋
I’d probably choose dark chocolate cause I just prefer it but practically milk chocolate is used in the most things like candys and deserts
Dark chocolate all the way and also yes white chocolate as well. Milk chocolate is usually too sweet for me so I prefer dark
I love this brandd
Milk! 🥛 Dark has to be super expensive or it’s too bitter. Blah. But white chocolate is heaven lolol
I love white chocolate. One of the best food I ever tasted. I do love milk chocolate and dark chocolate also. Just love them all lol.
Tbh it doesn't matter as long as the chocolate is smooth and creamy. I tried this one chocolate that I am dying to try againg it was dark , but smooth and just the right amount sweet.

Dark chocolate 80% Soo good. I like the slight bitter that makes the sweet more enjoyable
My fave is like 50 to 65% dark chocolate
Definitely Dark Chocolate cuz it has that atleast 60-80% of natural bittersweet chocolate taste and has anti-oxidant. 🥰🍫
Milk & white chocolate for me. Because Dark chocolate taste a bit bitter. White & milk ones taste good
Dark chocolate.
It’s good for you (Kinda)
It tastes good
It looks good
I like milk chocolate to eat on its own, dark chocolate for baking and stuff
that is mouth watering
I like dark chocolate you will get that Bittersweet taze dark chocolate taste so good in the future I will make a dark chocolate brownies
Since a kid, I never liked White Chocolate, but Dark chocolate... It was the first thing I would get in some chocolate factory, and milk chocolate is decent/good
