This is NOT the original 78 RPM version, but is MY FAVORITE version. The 2 main differences between the original and this alternate version are: #1. In the intro, the train bell rings 8 times on the 78 - here it rings 6 times (I prefer the 8 rings, just wish this one did too.) #2. On the 78, Johnny begins "Do you here..." in a higher pitch "jazz style" with a muted "shout-like" delivery. This starts with a more traditional vocal style and is more appealing to my listening enjoyment. This version was also released on the Johnny Mercer 1957 Capitol album "Accentuate The Positive."
