if i remember correctly, this tune plays in the background very faintly whenever Jay Gatsby's bodyguard escorts Nick to meet Jay finally. too bad it eventually gets cut off when he shuts the window.

This was in frequent rotation in my house when I was growing up in the early 70's. Me and my brother would stand on a milk crate and direct the band knowing every change. This is one great record. Thank you soo much for posting it.

Did Neil Diamond take (consciously, or, quite possibly, UNconsciously) the MELODY for his hit "Don't Think, Feel" from "Solfeggio", the 1953 MGM recording that Ernie Kovacs used for his TV comedy skit "Song of the Nairobi Trio"? Mr. Diamond (born in 1941) would have been 14 years old then, and, like me and many of us of that generation, very likely an avid fan of the zany Mr. Kovacs. Christopher O'Connor, New Jersey U.S.A.
