I’m a no sabo kid but not by choice 😭 Ive been on this journey of trying to learn my Mexican culture and language on my own. I’ve traveled to Mexico numerous times and fell in love with the country. I just don’t comprehend why my parents villianized their own country and still do. I get maybe back in the day it was different and don’t want to invalidate rheir experience, but I feel like them instilling fear in me about my culture was not cool and maybe influenced by American rhetoric. Anyways, I want to get my dual citizenship soooo badly, but they’ve scared me about it to the point where I’m starting to question myself. I just have to keep reminding my I’ve been to Mexico so many times and my experiences have always been great. (They haven’t been back since they were children 😑) Thank you for shining light on all the positives and sharing your personal experience. I too am from CA and have been through some pretty scary situations in the US and in Europe of all places. 🙃

Thank you I been trying to make my kids and my self mexican an its been imposible with the consulado I rather pay and get it done thank you. I want to move my family to mexico as soon as we can.

@@KristieMartin yes I saw they can help with the Temporary Resident Visa, which I've been having issues with trying to obtain through the Consulates (I live in the Bahamas and there's no Consulate here). So I have a meeting with them tomorrow. Thanks for the recommendation!

Es como cuando los gringos le dicen a un latino que "por favor no hable español, solo inglés, se escucha mejor solo inglés no mezclen" puede mezclar el inglés con español como le de la gana.
Es porque va dirigido a los mexicanoamericanos o como se diga para los que hablan los dos idiomas y hablan espanglish .
