Its not a big boat ?
I think its about the same like my sea cruiser .
Its 10.70meter long
Wide about 3.40meter.
I'm 1.86 high and i do not Touch the roof .
So i can walk in de boat .
Reason i ask is the camera u use.
Its a fish eye lens so it looks bigger.
Hey I worked for Nordic! It's about 20 miles from me. Was there in 2019 prepandemic. I can attest every inch of that boat was made by guys/girls that know what they're doin! Beautiful boats.
Don't take a three hour tour on that boat whatever you do! 😂
We rented a Nordic 32' in Juneau with another couple about 30 years ago. Ten days cruise through SE Alaska; Tracy Arm to Glacier Bay and back to Juneau...Eagle, Bears, and Whales, Oh My! Absolutely the best vacation we've ever had! The boat (Little Vixen) was perfect for four people and the John Deere main was solid and thrifty.
I had a Nordic tug once. Best Sweden trip ever.

Yeah I think about selling everrything and moving onto a Nordic tug 32. The 26 is a possibility since it's just me and my little dog but want enough space for my ebike so if I anchor out can row ashore and use the ebike to get to a store.
I absolutely love the tug trawler style of boats. "Dock trophy". 🤣 Damn the head is a lot bigger than I thought it would be.😲

I love nordics, Nordic and rangers are really the only boats i'd trust in bad weather on the lakes around here. i'd NEVER want to get caught out on the lake in a big storm but for running to port these things can take the tossing around you see.
Find it funny people take to the lakes thinking of them as lakes... but when a storm rolls in its as bad as the open ocean.
Great Lakes? If so, yeah I've sailed those many times.
@@frankconley6321 Yeah, they are larger then some countries. and with wave heights upto 30 feet in storms might as well be inland sea's.

@@frankconley6321 Harmonic Reflections off shore lines... causing HUGE waves to appear from the wrong direction and hit you broad side when you weren't expecting it...
and people STILL bring pontoon houseboats out onto the lakes.

S.S? You don't see too many Steam Screw vessels these days. 🤪 No wonder the professor couldn't fix it. He didn't have a proper forge to repair the boilers. I spent my childhood in the 80s and early 90s in Florida. I watched a lot of "Gilligan's Island" 🏝 which was filmed in Florida. If I had this boat, there's no way I wouldn't be offering three hour tours to friends and family every chance I got.
Only a Florida boy would wonder why there's a seat in a stateroom 😅 some people wear shoes. Awesome presentation!

Im interested to know why you think American tugs are nicer than Nordics.
At least from a Detailing point of view, I’ve detailed both and the Nordic tug gel coat is horrible. Extremely chalky and the window frame paint on the Nordic has worn off years ago on this specific boat. I also have been detailing an American tug. Who’s owner is quite meticulous, but the boat is mint and just being on them both the American tug seems much nicer. I will be doing a walk-through on that American tug with the owner in an upcoming video. .

Right most trawlers just have a fishing boat look but not actually set up to fish.

I've always been impressed by Nordic Tug but they are easily some of the most expensive boats on the market for their size and type. They are in the rarified company of Kadey-Krogen and Nordhaven trawlers. They are EXTREMELY well built and tough motor cruisers but they come at a premium cost.

I looked into one of these back in the 1980s. A couple guys I worked with in the Alaska oil field would spend their two weeks off every month down in the NW US on their boats. Met a lady life changes…..
I was heading to South America to live in the jungle then I too met a lady and life changed lol

Mileage? Punta Gorda hot as hell in summer. Fortunately diesel that thing would be idling all night long in the long summer here unless one is attached to shore power. Protected waters I wouldn't wanna be very far offshore in this its not a sail. yeah you'd need to be wealthy to own and live aboard this though. Way too rich for my blood.

I think they make them in Taiwan ? Or maybe China now . Originally in USA I thought.
Used to be in Washington. not sure now though. A lot of trawlers are built in Taiwan. I have an American tug 43 walkthrough coming soon.
Nope they are still made in Burlington Washington. That accounts for a lot of the premium in price on them.
I’ve heard that they don’t handle well in rough weather.

In my opinion it needs a complete overhaul and refit. It’s kinda cute but it needs upgraded gages and autopilot.

They ain't cheap I can tell you that. And they don't come onto the market very often in my experience.
Usually they're around $145,000 to $185,000 currently, depending on condition.
These are very popular here in Washington State. Very seaworthy and dry perfect for our weather. Being able to boat during fall winter and spring makes the Nordic the perfect choice.

Nice boat although it needs a ton of TLC and deep cleaning. It appears to also need a technology upgrade. But it is a nice fixer upper.
